The best local ski and bike shop! Conveniently located at the base of the pass; they have all great mountain biking apparel, especially for the ladies. Super knowledgeable staff that can fix almost any broken bike or ski. And they have dogs, many dogs to pet while you shop. Also located next to a bagel shop so you really can’t go wrong. Highly recommend stopping in for great stickers, gear banter and impulse buys!

If I could give Andy and Kichon more than 5 stars, I would!I am from the Northeast, and have been shopping for a full suspension mountain bike for the past few months. The pandemic has made it very hard to find and demo bikes, as we all know. I popped into this shop, just to see what they had in stock—no intention of buying anything. Andy was happy to let me ride a Yeti SB140 C2 around the lot and answer all of my questions about the bike, knowing I was from Boston and was most likely NOT going to buy it.After riding the bike, I asked if it would be worth renting a bike from them for 2-3 hours...Kichon offered to drive me up to the top of Teton pass, so I could do an epic ride from the top of the pass back into Wilson.Their kindness made me REALLY want to give them my business. I left, did some research on the Yeti, emailed them back to let them know I was interested, and they offered to hold the bike, so I could go back and try it on a single track trail near the shop.Well, long story longer...I tested the bike, bought it, and Andy & Kichon's kindness didn't end there. I don't know if they go as far above and beyond for everyone they work with, but I felt incredibly special and valued.This is the local bike shop you gotta support!! Oh, and the shop dogs were SO CUTE!!!

Love this place. The crew is great here. Got my skis tuned same day and they’re riding smooth.Also they sell wonderful little surprises like this coconut drink holder for your handle bars!! Who doesn’t need one of those?

Wilson Backcountry Sports is EVERYTHING a bike shop should be. They have any part you could need while on your trip, great selection of tires, parts, gear. They’re so dang friendly & knowledgeable, they have the dopest clothing & rad shop merch like t-shirts, hats, socks, stickers. I look forward to visiting them on our annual mtb visit. I always make sure to buy lots of stuff from them. And there’s a cute shop doggo. Nuff said.

Amazing crew! Labor Day weekend and they are helpful as ever. Super fast service. Came in for a tire. They got me a new tire, sealant, and labor for a great price. Came back after I crashed and they were able to fix it very fast so I could get back on to shredding! Also fun river to play in behind the shop.

Before I came to Jackson for 3 weeks in September I had my road bike tuned up and had the shifting issues fixed (or so I thought). On my first ride in Jackson my gears weren't shifting at all. I was so BUMMED. My friend Chippy, who lives in Wilson, said that Backcountry Sports was the best bike shop in Jackson. I brought my bike there and I told them what was going on and they looked at my bike. They said they could fix it in about 15 minutes. Not only did they fix my bike but they didn't charge me for it!!! Now that I'm spending more and more time in Jackson this is going to be my new bike shop.

I've shopped at Wilson BackCountry Sports several times and the employees are so helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for bike equipment in the summer or ski equipment in the winter. Kichan, Andy, Dave, Greg, Loren, Jefferson and everyone who works there are so kind. Great prices and great products. Very knowledgeable staff. My bike is riding better than ever, thank you!

This shop provided the best experience to me - everyone in the shop was eager to help me try on multiple boots for over an hour to help me find the right fit. They educated me on various features/issues/preferences among the boots and ultimately I ended up demoing and purchasing a pair from these guys. Out of all the backcountry sports stores in the general area, I had the best experience with this store.

Great place. Very accommodating to me and my gf during our cross country tour. They cleaned our drivetrains and took our bikes off our hands for a few days while we went to Yellowstone in a car. Excellent work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Everyone is super knowledgeable and willing to spend time explaining the pros and cons of different gear selection. I just bought new skis, bindings and skins for this season from Wilson BackCountry and the whole process was top notch! I learned a lot, and feel like I made good decisions (particularly on the bindings).Family and friends have been buying/renting from this store for years, and everyone loves it. Couldn't recommend Wilson BackCountry Sports more!

I came in for trail advice and a couple of small parts like brake pads. They had everything I needed and the friendly mechanics also gave me some brake fluid for free instead of making me buy a whole bottle (as I only needed a little). Andy and Keychan (sp?) were incredibly friendly and seemed to know every repeat customer by name. Free shuttles up the Pass on Sat and Sun!!! (Tip your driver- time is valuable and gas ain't free!)

This shop is excellent. I rented a Yeti mountain bike and they went through it with a fine-tooth comb to get it all tuned up before I took it. they told me where to go how to ride the certain areas were very knowledgeable and helpful really a great place I highly recommend it.

Just picked up my bike that got two new tires and half way home and bike stopped and tire is stuck against metal. Second time in a week to shop with problems. They also worked on my electric bike and although they say they fixed it or “evaluated” the hike it never worked. Not impressed at all.

Andy gave me and my wife an incredible day at a reasonable rate. He rented us two bikes and a free lock to take to Phelps Lake so we could hike and swim for the day. He made the rental process a breeze for two bike rental amateurs.

Our family highly recommends Wilson BackCountry Sports! In the summer we get our bike gear and bikes serviced. In the winter we get our back country gear dialed in. They really know how to help make your boots fit like they should and have lots of tools and tricks to make it happen.

I dont know where to start! My family and I travelled to Wilson to ride the Teton Pass and hang with amazing people on amazing trails and it lived up to the hype! First of all Wilson backcountry sports is a great shop with awesome staff/owners who will shuttle you for free up to the pass, give you information on all the trails, and fix anything you need on your bike! I live in Mammoth Lakes, CA and coming to this place has been a dream of mine for years! Thank You WBS for all the support and endless stoke found on the trails on Teton Pass.

They charge 100 for a tire when the next shop down the road charges 65. Also, they scam you by trying to upsell you services to fix your bike after they broke it.
