We needed propane over Thanksgiving. Other customers there so they were busy. It was cold after snow storm. Employee filled the tanks quickly. He was very friendly. We appreciated they were open for business.

Great place, the variety in here is way better that what you would expect from a small town hardware store. Don't mind the employees constantly asking if you need help, it is slightly annoying if your are just browsing, but they really are genuinely trying to help you get what you need.

Very helpful locating the equipment I needed. I almost forgot a few things and he was willing to help with that as well. The cashier had me in and out very fast. I will return to this store.

Being from Wheatland, I have always bragged in the hometown hospitality. However, going into Ace is a disgrace. They are rude, the staff is snappy and really could care less. The last few times my family in the area has shopped here, they have been treated terribly. It has now become a banned place on our list. We will drive to Cheyenne before we shop here which is unfortunate because we like to keep things local.

Wheatland has two hardware stores. Ace is newer and larger, on the outside of town and worth the effort to drive to. The Ace reputation is alive and well in Wheaterville!
