If you want a steak that will melt in your mouth, it's so tender. This is the place to go! We stumbled upon this place by accident, or should I say fate, by needing to find a place to eat during a really crazy snowstorm. The atmosphere was a little country with a lot of class. The young lady serving us was very friendly, and our food was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

A HEARTILY WELCOME AND A FAMILY VIBE...A MUST IF YOU ARE IN WHEATLAND WY AND WANNA HAVE A GREAT MEAL!This review is based solely on my own experience and personal opinion.I went to the Western Sky's Diner on a Wednesday noon, 1/19/22, and it was my first time.FOOD: I ordered a house salad with Caesar dressing, then Mashed potatoes and green peas. and afterwards I ordered a Caramel smothered blueberry pancake as a desert. to drink... black coffee!HOUSE SALAD = fresh ingredients and very nice dressing. I enjoyed it.MASHED POTATOES = homemade mashed potatoes... classic Russet potatoes with its slightly wrinkly brown skin and multi-purpose texture, is a very nice meal that has become a rare find. Just small family run diners can offer such a treat. Clearly fresh Ingredients where the secrets of such a fluffy, creamy and flavorful meal. I truly enjoyed it.GREEN PEAS: Crunchy outside and soft inside, cooked to perfection. They had a nice gravy-like cream on top, so flavorful.CARAMEL SMOTHERED BLUEBERRY PANCAKE: Hot, soft and sweet... quite the treat, Wow! hadn't had a fluffy and flavorful pancake like this in quite a while. Fluffy pancake that would melt in your moth at each bite... The Sweetness of the Caramel balanced by the tartness of the Blueberries... just amazing. I loved it!!STAFF: very friendly, all of them. friendly, nice and helpful. great customer service and great customer experience.You can really tell that they do their best, welcoming each and every customer just like you would welcome a friend to your home.Family run diner, and I had the pleasure to interact with the three women who serve in the restaurant.PLACE: it is a cool place. country style, with country/retro' style furniture and decor... They have some unique and cool photos and pieces of decor. The overall look is pleasant and relaxing. Teh Uniqueness of this place is not in its design though, but in the way that each of those pieces of decor/furnishing connect the place to the Wheatland community.CLEANLINESS: The place is clean and neat. All of the ladies working here constantly clean table and floor after each guest leaves their table. They clean and sanitize surfaces.RESTROOMS: restrooms were nice and clean. Hot water, paper towel, hand soap and toilet paper available. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a clean restroom.PRICES: average prices for a family run diner.CONCLUSIONS: It was a great experience and I'll definitely go back when I'm around wheatland WY again. Thanks.

Both times I've been to Wheatfield, I've eaten breakfast here and have absolutely enjoyed it. The portion sizes are HUGE, so make sure you bring your appetite! The home fried potatoes are delicious! The bacon is cut thick and is delicious! I get my eggs cooked over medium, and they come out perfectly.Definitely a great place to eat, if yiur hungry, don't look any further than Western Sky's family diner!

Love it here. It's a great diner with home-cooked style food. A lot of different options to choose from, affordable, and great service. Highly recommend. The food was the best I've had in a restaurant in a long while.Vegetarian options: There are salad options if you are vegetarian. It's not only meat.Parking: A medium size parking lot right in front of the restaurant. Has a lot of places to park.Kid-friendliness: It's definitely a family diner.

This was a nice clean cafe with pleasant waitresses. We're stopped for breakfast and were a little disappointed in the food. The coffee was very weak and not hot enough for me - served in a carafe and even when I asked for a refill with hot coffee out of the pot, it still want streaming. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich which was made with powdered eggs. The sausage gravy on my hash browns didn't have much flavor, but was edible.

Great food at a great price, stopped in here while passing through. Glad that we did. I got the blueberry pancake and bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a muffin. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito. Both meals were tasty and a good amount of food for the price. Cute little diner!

When we first started going here is when we started moving into town. This place is cheap for what it serves.I love this place and me and my friend come here to eat more as a little girls night because of how cheap it is. Especially since I'm from the cities in Colorado trying to get away from that state. Its SOOOO CHEAP. I love the people that also work here. They give off really good customer service. 10/10 recommend if you're coming through from I-25 or visiting.

I was a bit nervous about appearances when I drove up but it had good reviews. They were not wrong. The young waitress was very friendly and hustling. I couldn’t pass up their “Freedom Burger” and it was really tasty. The fries were abundant and crispy. My wife liked her small plate of spaghetti and we appreciated the option of a small plate since plates have gotten so ginormous lately.And finally, we met a couple of local good ole boys and had a nice chat. I thought I had, perhaps, driven into a time warp and ended up in Mayberry!

Nummy, no waiting in this cute little place. Very economical, full plates and friendly wait staff. Even had our own pot of coffee and it was big. This was my Western Omelette and home fries.
