On January 2nd I delivered two healthy fat heifers to be processed, I was given a cut sheet and told to fill it out and email it to the address provided, I filled it out and emailed it back the same day, attached a read receipt so I knew it was received. Didn’t hear anything so called the last week of January and was informed they were running behind and I could get my meat feb 6th, arrived to get my meat, was charged $2100 for processing and then got handed a cut sheet that wasn’t mine, was told they didn’t receive mine, yet they read the email! Charged to make patties and brats, yet didn’t make either, tried to refund $150 for”dropping the ball”! Then I went to pick up my meat, one animal was 1100lbs the other was 1200lbs live weight! I took the heavier of two and a buddy took the other, I received four boxes of product, maybe 300 lbs total and one box was just full of bones and no meat, I was given a pathetic excuse on why I had no meat, my buddy arrived to pick up his meat and was upset as he had a total of 207lbs of beef from an 1100lb critter! He was told the animals were “malnourished and dehydrated “ when they came in. The owner told us he didn’t care if we came back as he had plenty of other customers! He basically stole one whole animal worth of beef from us I presume to sell at his convenient little meat counter up front! This place is a joke and the owner is a thief and a lier! I have attached photos of the scale weight of the beef we received, and the animals the morning they were delivered! Total of less than 500lbs of beef out of both animals combined!

Top Notch Service, we process 50-75 head a year through Wyoming Ranch Foods and they have helped us build our ranch to table program to what it is today. Starting out with just 5 head a year when they first opened they was able to help us grow to the 75 head we sell each year now nation wide! They helped us with custom labeling, branding, marketing, specialty cuts, and created a product that is unique to us. We owe them a great deal of thanks and will continue to use them for our processing needs!

I’m not sure I knew what good beef was until I purchased it from Wyoming Ranch Foods. All of the steaks have been to die for and the hamburger is absolutely delicious. The prices are decent and the quality is outstanding. Everything we have bought is vacuum sealed, which makes it last so much longer. They also have so many spices and rubs to choose from! We won’t buy from anyone else after buying from WRF. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 recommend!!

I don't often feel the need to share my experiences publicly because as a small business owner, I do understand many of the challenges that small business face. However, in this instance, I feel it necessary to share as a warning to others. And to be clear, I am commenting only on the packaging side of the business but my experience has been dreadful. Full details of the interaction can be found below but in summary their customer service is horrible - they won't return a call, are dishonest about the completion time and readiness, and hide their shortcomings behind USDA regulations. We dropped meat off to be processed at the beginning of November (which was a debacle in itself, but I won't get into that) and by the end of December we had yet to hear from Wyoming Ranch Foods at all. At that time I began calling and finally was able to reach someone who said it would be ready the last week in December and they would call us. No call, so I call again on the 1/3. They indicated it was ready and I could pickup at the end of the week. Roads were closed on that Friday so I called and said I would be there Monday to pickup. Kyle had the audacity to assure me that they wouldn't charge me freezer time for the extra weekend of storage. When I got there at 8:15 on Monday morning, I had to wait for the floor to be cleared by USDA (their hours are posted as 8 am to 5 pm). After I paid, I went to the back for pickup and found out that they were still packaging the brats and that I would have to wait for them to finish. Even though, I was waiting there because they weren't ready, there was no public restroom available for use and I was told so - quite rudely. After approximately 45 additional minutes, I was on my way.Two hours later, back at home and when unloading, I discovered that the hamburger patties had also been packaged today and were not even frozen so had I actually been able to make it on the previous Friday - my meat would not have been ready for pickup. I do not recommend Wyoming Ranch Foods and I will make sure that everyone I know is aware of my experience. One additional thing to mention - when I expressed my disappointment and that I would not be recommending them, Kyle said simply - "I'm not worried, I have plenty of customers." Something to think about for those of you considering using their services....

Since they have opened they have been my go to for quality meats. I love their bundle sales and that they now sell beer and whiskey. Booze and beef, what more could you ask for? Service has always been on point and prices are reasonable especially for local cows and in house processing.

Purchased 1/2 a beef and couldn’t be happier with the flavor and quality of all cuts. Ordering process was seamless, worked with Carla. There was an array of weights to choose from, I requested the biggest hoss. Drove up from Colorado and pick up went great. I highly recommend and will be a return customer!

They were nice enough to stay a few minutes after closing so I could come by as I live out of town. I could not find the place, it is hidden in the trees, the sign is hidden. I had to call to say where the heck are you. A long driveway thru some trees, then there is a sign, then the building.I wanted some steaks. He did not have very much to chose from. There was a couple T Bone steaks about an inch thick. $20 a pound. I had a heart attack. I was like why are these so expensive. His response was these are the going rates. I asked where are you shopping? I've never seen a steak, any kind of steak priced above $15 a pound.I bought a couple only cuz I felt bad for making him stay late, but I'll not buy from there again with the prices that high.

Our first and only experience was absolutely horrific. From drop off to pickup was a total fiasco. This business has no concern for their customers or their reputation. We have been producers for over 30 years and have SEVERAL customer that purchased fats from us privately. We pride ourselves in quality, friendly, honest business. Wyoming Ranch Foods has non of these qualities. They do not hold their word, they do not communicate, return repeated messages and are rude and disrespectful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HAVING YOUR HARD WORK BEING PROCESSED BY THIS FACILITY.There were several mistakes made and when I asked I was given a flipid/don’t really care attitude. After waiting over 30 days (well over 30 days) I demanded a call back. We got a guarantee from Kyle we’d have the meat the following Friday, so upon pickup we get told that we’d have to return for the rest. 45 drive home to see our meat was not cut as we asked and not frozen. Returning Monday AFTERNOON for the hamburger and patties (extra charge) I was left waiting for over 30 minutes with no explanation or direction to finally be told to go around back for pickup. Sit another 45 minutes for a guy to bring out CLOSED boxes, no thank you, have a nice day… nothing. I open them to see hamburger thawed and freshly packaged AND no patties. When I asked he says.. hmmm they must not have gotten done. I go back to the front. We explained the no patty issue and $12.50 is slammed down and the person walks off and I explain there was tax. That is slammed down. I am very upset and say I am not happy. The reply I get is ridiculous. The guy shrugs his should and tells me he just works there and I’m preaching to the choir. So I asked if he was the owner. He replies nope and they don’t want to talk. They have plenty of business and I should find someone else. I’m not one for being disrespectful, but if we ran our business this way we would have no customers and honestly there are MANY other businesses out there that would agree. STAY CLEAR of Wyoming Ranch Foods. Nothing about our experience was good. To be told they are busy is a ridiculous excuse, you schedule the times, butchering, processing. Don’t over extend!!!! This is not your customer’s problem. Hiding behind the “USDA” does not make you quality. And how can an owner give themselves a 5 star rating.
