I have purchased several items from Merlins Hideout and have never been disappointed. The photo attached is the most recent, my second Buffalo robe. This is on my daughter's king size bed. She loves it. Today, I had the opportunity to stop at Merlin's Hideout! What a fantastic thrill for me. I got to meet and talk with Barb for quite some time, delaying her work I'm sure. Of course I had to buy more!!!

A must stop shop...you don't experience many shops that actually do all the work from tanning hides to custom work. Merlin and his wife are extremely nice folks.

5 stars is not enough!! This place is top of the line. The folks that own and operate it provide GREAT customer service as well as amazing products. I had some hides tanned and not only were they done in less than 2 months, the quality at which they were done can’t be beat. Their store front is absolutely gorgeous, and so are the handcrafted products. There is something for every budget, also some super cute souvenirs! These folks are such a great representation of Wyoming craftsman/women, creative, hard working, honest and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about my experience!

Merlin makes the highest quality fur and leather products. For warmth and durability, buy his bison coat. If you are a cyclist or snow machine driver, his mittens and face masks will keep you warm in the windiest of days. Wear real leather and fur for warmth. Let the “rather go naked” fools freeze in their synthetics. Super friendly and hospitable folks. Be sure to stop at the store if you are passing through on your way to Yellowstone.

All leather goods. Some fameus people have gotten Coats custom made. From Buffalo hides. Arnold Schwarzenegger visited back in 08 or so I forget. Merlin made a bunch of coats for a movie cast. With Samuel l Jackson and Kurt Russell. You can get a lot of cool stuff here
