Awesome little bar, with a wonderful atmosphere and even better food! I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, and the missus had a Mushroom and Swiss burger. Both were amazing, and both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were delicious! Our waiter was very kind, and I really appreciated his kindness and time!Kid-friendliness: This is a bar, 21+ to enter!

Don't let the outside of this place fool you, there is true magic going on inside!! From the staff to the food and decor, this place knows how to do it!We were greeted immediately with smiles and good mornings from several staff members, all with genuine welcoming smiles. Our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat down and came out before we had even finished reading the menu! We got medium spicy Bloody Mary's and they were spot on, with a pickle I might add! I love pickles!!I got the top breakfast plate and hubby got the Cajun Skillet. My breakfast came with THREE eggs, cooked perfectly, and the best bacon I think I've ever had! The bacon was cooked perfectly, not burnt to a crisp or rubbery, it was just right! Hubby's skillet was so big he couldn't even finish it, that never happens! He said it was delicious! Our server was perfectly attentive, very friendly and even took time to let me share some pics of my grandkids with her!! It was definitely the perfect way to start our day!

Charles and Kim have opened the old Thermopilis Cafe. I eat breakfast lunch and dinner here. The food is the best in town they have a Great Bar as well. They open at 6 am close at 8 pm on the week day 9 pm weekend they close Wednesday and Thursday. Each week. Summer just Wednesday. The cafe closes 2 pm till 4 pm but you can order food from the bar in-between. Great specials great Steaks. When they have them the breakfast plate has three eggs 🥚 hash browns bacon,Ham or sausage paddles. And toast .I have it every day..I'm retired and live by myself and don't cook anymore. Dinner is great. With Pies and Ice cream desert. Great Soups too. I come in early. Writing on my book having coffee for a while then have breakfast. Sunday lunch gets busy. After church everyone comes here for lunch. They treat me like family. Or most of the regulars

Usually go to another breakfast spot when I’m in Thermopolis. They were closed due to staffing issues so tried out the 7 Lazy Cafe for breakfast. They were vey busy since the other place was closed. Excellent service, friendly staff, and my breakfast burrito was excellent. A little disappointed the jalapeños in the burrito were pickled, but still excellent when smothered with the green chili. So this is my new go to in Thermopolis for breakfast! Oh yeah the hash browns are much better here too!

Great service cfir our group of thirteen. Food was tasty. Prices were fair. We tried the Bull Fries and they were OK. Would return if ever back in Thermopolis.

Definitely the best place to eat breakfast in town! Ate here twice on our vacation and we were treated wonderfully. The first time it was just the older waitress by herself with a packed cafe and still constantly checked on us and was super friendly. The food was very delicious both times and the atmosphere is comfy and inviting. Definitely will be back here the next time we’re in thermop.
