We have worked with a bunch of different butchers over the years, and the Star Valley Meat Block has been the best by far. Super Clean every time we have been there, and every package we get has been great! We travel over two hours to take our beef here if that says anything. I would highly recommend them!

Fantastic quality local meat! It’s definitely worth the trip to check out what they have. We really enjoyed our steaks. I can’t wait until I’m back in Thayne so I can make another stop there.

Literally the worst experiences of my life as a big game hunter came from this place I have been shorted every time, and what little meat i got had hair in it, if you walk into this place you get the stench of rancid spoiled meat so you can tell their sanitation in here is poor. i went here for an elk 2 years ago and a deer 3 years, now I'm processing all my own game and its not only cleaner i got over twice as much meat back. Dont go here save yourself the trouble and learn on your own it gives you the pride in the harvest these animals deserve

This is the only place I would go with my game or farm animals. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are locally owned so I know my money stays in the area. Regardless of your special requests, they will meet your needs.
