This place is AWESOME! Everything I would expect from a ski town bar/saloon and then some. We stopped in for the Mrs.' 40th celebration and were blown away from the absolutely outstanding service. Huge shout out to Dutch for totally making our night, we'll certainly never forget this place!! The food was criminally good for the price. I had the falafel burger and fries - best ive had in a VERY long time. The Mrs had the fig blue cheese flatbread and ended up scraping the board it came on clean. The service was top notch, and by far the best we've had in the area. Try the Wyoming Whiskey 120 proof they have, can't get this stuff anywhere else - I grew up in Kentucky, I know my whiskey and bourbon. All I can say is my home state needs to step up their game. 11/10, we'll fly back for it.

Amy and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding dinner/reception everything we dreamed of. From answering all of our emails, staying in touch throughout the whole process to listening to what we were looking for and how we visioned the tables and decor to look - they were attentive and nailed it!! On top of that, the food was delicious - all of our guests loved their dishes and commented on how good the appetizers were. The service was great and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate with our close family and friends.

Great vibe and atmosphere but service is extremely slow. Came in on a Tuesday, lots of empty tables. Waitress was friendly, enjoyed the vibe, live music and beautiful views of mountain. Steaks were serve very rare, not to our desired taste. Food was also cold and took close to an hour to get... not what you would expect with a $300 tab for party of 4.

One year ago it was not offered any reservation and if it is like this right now please come 15 min before opening otherwise it will be big line to enter! I really was impressed by their food! I really cannot say I found any good food in Jackson but in this place we never were dissatisfied! We ordered bison mince meat and the steak from special menu. I really do not remember if I ever tried so delicious steak 🥩 in whole my life!!!!! You really have to come if you want to experience this unique vibe of the place and excellent food!!

We went to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday while visiting Jackson Hole. The service was great (thanks Martin) the food and drinks were even better. As a family of four it can be hard to find things everyone will like, this wasn't an issue here. While the fried green tomatoes, and the falafal burger were definitely highlights, the bison burger was the star of our table. Chefs kiss! Thanks for having us, we will be back.Vegetarian options: Options available, I had the best falafel burger ever.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had good options for our little one

Best meal we had in Teton Village. Friendly servers. Make a reservation! They give coloring pages to the kids.Burrata and salmon were excellent, full of flavor.

Mangy moose is a must visit spot. We came on our 1st night in Teton village and it was a great choice with tired kids. The service was great and food was good too. The Elk stroganoff could have used more spice- but was still good. The hamburgers were great- with good kid portions too.Kid-friendliness: Good sized kid meals worked well for our hungry crew

I took my Mom on a celebration trip to Jaxon Hole. It was hard to find places with Gluten-free options for her. The Mang Moose actually had several options for her. Our waitress was so nice and made sure that my Mom didn't eat anything that she couldn't. I really appreciated that because we had a bad experience at a different restaurant the day before. The food was delicious and we both ate too much. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful atmosphere for our group that traveled many miles! Exceptional help from many staff members who assisted our friend who has physical disabilities - specifically Amy and Dutch- Dutch went beyond and above service as the restaurant doesn’t have ADA compliance (all stairs no elevator) and Dutch helped our friend! He even went to get a wheelchair and took her back to the lodge 🤠😍❤️🙌🏻 It truly was an over the top act of kindness in a world where many overlook others needs!(and he would not accept a tip!!) The food was great and the chef personally took time to ask how our food was- it was delicious! We had many leftovers which were good the second time around! Thank you Dutch and God Bless!Wheelchair accessibility: Not ADA compliant- come on Mangy Moose make it accessible 🤠🙏🏻😬

Amy and the Mangy Moose Private Events team did a fantastic job hosting our group for a pre wedding weekend meet and greet on the lawn. The team was great to work with and really made our quests feel welcome to Jackson Hole. Great execution and a sunny day to boot. People joined us later in the Mangy Moose for great live Western Music.Even got a GREAT new Daughter-in-Law over the weekend! Thanks for everything Mangy Private Event Team.

I loved David's chopped salad and beans & spinach soup here. My friends said their Bison burger and Elk Brat was also nicely done. Good ambience and outdoor seating was a win.

Food is usually fine, service is usually fine- but I don’t think that you should charge the same prices for the food if you aren’t going to put the listed ingredients on the items ordered. Had the stagecoach burger 3/21 which was supposed to come with avocado and sprouts… 22$ and I just got a patty, tomato, onions and pickles. 60$ for 2 people.

Seems like the place to be after a hard day on the slopes! Menu is bar food style with a twist as they do serve Elk and Bison which are really great. It’s hard to get a table at peak times, the wait staff is very attentive but you have to grab them and get their attention. Beers are cold and hit the spot, food comes out very quick. As others mentioned there is a 20% minimum gratuity.

Use to be our ABSOLUTE favorite. Here we celebrated our first dates, rehearsal dinners, staff dinners, anniversaries etc... We have been dining at our local favorite since the 70's. It has LOST its family charm with a NEW bar, in the dining room. Not sure why they would put this in the restaurant in place of 5 tables, when there there is an entire bar to eat at in the adjoining room, through the breezeway. No more prime rib, no more truffle fries. Prices for kids start at $15. I understand inflation, I work in the food industry. The mangy has gone mangy. So sad and so sorry. We will need to find a new favorite.

We stayed 3 nights in Jackson Hole while touring Grand Tetons. We had some time to kill before checking in our Airbnb so we went to Mangy Moose. It was between lunch amd dinner so we ordered their nachos and some beers. Oh my, the nachos were piled high and so yummy. So glad we had 4 people to share them. The service was great and the atmosphere very relaxing after a long day of driving from north Yellowstone.

We were gonna make reservations for dinner, but not any more. Went to a concert here last Tuesday night to see The Elevators and the night was pretty much ruined. Security did not do their jobs. It was unsafe. I was 100% sober, so the owner can reply how ever he'd like to. I saw an remember everything. I do not recommend this place for anything. Imagine how horrible the owner is if he allows his employees to over serve guests and sticks up for them causing an unsafe environment for paying customers. Oof.

All time favorite place to apres or stop in for food and drink while out skiing at Jackson Hole. The food recently has really stepped up its game and you can't go wrong with the spicy marg and nachos!I also recommend seeing a show here. Buy tickets in advance - things often sell out but you get to see awesome musicians in a super intimate setting which is pretty special!

We went here in mid-October. I didn't realize Teton Village slows down as much as it clearly has. We were 4 of maybe 10-12 customers in the whole place. I was unsure of what it would be like taking 2 kids to a saloon, but they both enjoyed their meal. The food was good, which I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. I feel like so many places around Jackson charge upwards of $50 a plate and it's not enough to satisfy anyone over maybe age 5. Not one of us could finish our entire meal because we were so well-served. That says a lot considering at some similar restaurants we've had to order 2 entrees per person. The prices were reasonable for the Jackson/Teton Village area. Our server was incredible. We told him that our youngest was celebrating her birthday dinner and they brought out a brownie with an enormous helping of ice cream, candles, and even a dried marigold. My daughter was blown away by the presentation of her dessert. The fireplace added a nice ambiance and the jack-o-lanterns outside the windows were festive. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for somewhere to eat during the off-season.Parking: There were maybe 15 other cars in a lot which I've seen hold ~200.Kid-friendliness: Although it is a saloon, our children (8 & 9) were welcomed and treated very well by the staff. There were several kid friendly options on the menu and lots of cool stuff on the walls for them to check out.
