After ordering a riffle online. And jumping thru the sportsman wharehouse loops for 30 days. They suddenly sent a email stating I had been refunded my money. Funny how the employees and management said they would hold gun till I made it back from out of town to fill out back ground check a 2nd time. Since the first time I was on delayed for 30days. Federal law starts 3-5 days on delay purchase continues. Is sportsman's warehouse now bigger and better than the federal government. They lost ALL of my business and the Credit card I have is now going to be canceled. MY SUGGESTION DONT BUY FROM THIS CHAIN/ STORE. .

On Friday, February 9 between the hours of 12 and 2 PM our family members had visited from California and went into your store in Sheridan. Wyoming was looking at guns and the gentleman behind the counter older gentleman ask them where they were from. They told him from California and he said that you guys are nothing but communist California’s. And went on to say I can’t sell you nothing here because you’re from California and went on to complain about how California governor runs the country for one that was uncalled for your employee to talk about where he’s from and that he couldn’t sell him a gun which I believe is untrue you shouldn’t judge people from where they come from that was very wrong of that employee to act that way

Had Sportsman's Warehouse restring my bow along with a few small requests (peep site be put where its at and add the rubber tubing to the peep site). Every time I went in I was told it wasn't done and they would call. After 4 months I called again and they said it was done. I went in and it was only restrung. One star because the job wasn't finished and never received a call. The job doesn't take 4 months. Rocky Mountain Discount is where I will be going from now on.

Used to love buying Christmas gifts here, now there is little to no selection. No under armor no Columbia clothing or pajama sets.

Really great store! I have always enjoyed shopping at any Sportsmans Warehouse location and I do enjoy this store in Sheridan. Great staff and great selection. They always have exactly what I need. However I tried to stop by at about 8:35 this Saturday night (they close at 9pm) and they had already shut down for the night. Pretty disappointing.

Very nice shop for all of your outdoors needs. Good amount of fishing and hunting supplies. Pretty much everything you'd need for your next adventure. Prices are definitely competitive with most other outdoors store. Purchased a new fishing rod and some lures. Can't wait to get out and try my new gear.

Very helpful staff and super friendly. A large assortment of whatever your outdoor needs may be from fishing, camping and hunting to personal defense and clothing. It's the outdoor version of Walmart.

Excellent selection of quality items for the outdoorsman and great pricing to go along with them. The staff at this location were outstanding. Mike, T, and the rest helped my son and I salvage a hunting trip by replacing gear stolen the night before. They were knowledgeable and patient. Thanks so much, I'm a new sportsman's warehouse fan!!!!

This is a very small Sportsman's, and the available selection is even smaller. Most prices will be a bit higher than what you can get online for the exact same item, but it'll do in a pinch.The biggest problem is the speed of serviceThey usually only have one register open, and it's a very slow register. And they go out of their way to make things slower. Want to return something with a receipt? Stand at the counter, and they'll radio for a guy to eventually get to the counter. He'll look at the item, and look at the receipt, and tell you if you can return it or not. You then get to go stand in line at the one open register, where they will eventually slowly do your refund, but only after asking the exact same questions that the guy at the counter asked. Not sure why they make you go through these extra hoops for a simple return, but I've never seen anything like it at other Sportsman's.

This local store is fine.Just don't try to order from there main headquarters as they will tell they a product is in stock , then after a few days or week on order you try to check on your order they tell you the item got sold

I had the BowGuy to set up my Mathews. He did a great job. Made sure the peep sight was true to my eye. The rest that I purchased was put on and finished. The arrow “loop” was put on and leveled to the rest itself. When it was all set up and ready to go, he helped get the arrow shooting straight through paper. Would recommend him to all.

The staff of this store provide a great balance of being available for customer questions and just allowing a person to shop. They are also really good at getting people checked out so people are not waiting in line too long.

I'm actually pretty impressed! Sheridan will likely never have another Ritz Sporting Goods, as none can compare; but, in Sportsman's Warehouse, Sheridan once again has a sporting goods store worth visiting. Their pricing is competitive, and the staff is friendly and willing to help. What's really impressive, however, is how a relatively small store can have such a wide selection! Additionally, the store's manager, Jeff, is super friendly, knowledgeable, and, after chatting with him, it is clear that he truly takes customer service to heart. I rarely review places, but the new store is defi. worthy of 5 stars!

Super dissappounted. No lie, got there at 845pm to grab some new sunglasses and flies real quick for a last minute fishing trip. They close at 9pm so I hustled in, grabbed my stuff, got to check out, and realized I accidentally left my wallet at a meeting across town I just came from. I called my buddy, he saw it on the counter and told me he was headed right towards me. It was 9:02 pm and they literally told me no way they could wait the 5 minutes it would take for him to get there. I had $75 worth of gear, and they couldn't wait 5 minutes. pretty disappointed to be honest. I was super grateful they stayed open until 9, but bummed they wouldn't wait 5 minutes for an outdoorsman. Guess I'll go back to the local home town boys who would literally drive in an open their doors to make sure you had what you needed, even after hours.

An excellent addition to the Sheridan area. I personally enjoy the variety of fishing equipment and boating equipment as well. They had everything I needed to repair the downriggers on my boat. Whether camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, etc. this place has what you need.

These guys blab all the best fishing spots, which I detest. The staff is friendly but can be a bit ignorant, I have had friends get bad advice there. They also won't receive a firearm for you like most gun shops.

Purchased an arrow rest from the store, the bow tech who installed the rest took my bow completely out of tune and I had to have it retuned by another bow tech. At no fault of any of the bow techs, the arrow rest was not functioning properly. Fletchings hit the rest. I called to see if I could return the arrow rest because the sportsmans bow tech had thrown away the box. (He did ask my permission before he did so and I said go ahead). I was told I needed to come in in person the next day to talk to the bow tech as they wanted to "solve the issue." There was no way I was going to let him touch my bow again. As I was at work I had to call on my lunch break once again to explain that the arrow rest was not functioning properly I only want to return the arrow rest. He then said to go ahead bring it in and they would return it. Seeing as I am at work i asked a good friend if he would take it back to the store. He was then told no we are not going to take the arrow rest back that the arrow rest was heavily used and could not be returned. So once again I called the store. I was told the same thing to which I explained that no the arrow rest was not heavily used it had seen at the most 40 arrows and the reason why it looks as though it was used at all was because the fletchings hit the rest which is why I wanted to return it in the first place. I did get frustrated at this point and told them that so I'm out 150 dollars for the rest, 60 dollars to have the bow retuned, and my friend wasted 60 miles and an hour of his time when you could have simply told me on day one when I had called that no you will not accept it. I was told that they did say they would not return it, which they did not tell me at all. I have had great experience with this store since it opened however, this has ruined all of that and I will not shop here again and I recommend you do not either

Hard to rate this one. The gentleman who helped us, total 5 stars.I apparently picked up a RT hand in place of a LF hand sleeping bag by mistake. I realized it when I got to our car. Went back in to exchange for the correct side zip, and felt I was the biggest inconvenience for Saige who was working the customer service desk 10/13/19 at 10:30am. Made me feel completely unwelcomed.

High prices for Clothing. Normal for Weapons/Ammo/Camping. ULTRA CLEAN/ORGANIZED. Not a single employee wore a mask even tho signage asked customers to do so.
