my wife came in with our very well behaved german shepherd and a lady has the audacity to tell my wife to get the dog out of the store bc she was bit and then the worker agrees with her lucky my wife didn’t let him off the leash and teach you a lesson about respect

Big company that does little to keep the cost of pet care reasonable. Not only is there inflation (to no fault of theirs) but they tack on the 10 cents a bag and they are double the cost in my area because they are the only option. I buy out of town if possible and prefer support smaller stores.

I took my baby mini schnauzer in to get his first haircut since I adopted him. He was fluffy and had long curly hair with a skirt that was kept brushed out and had no tangles. When I picked him up from his cut, all she had done was completely cut off ALL of his hair. He DID NOT receive a schnauzer cut. He has no skirt, his paws are completely bare and his legs have no feathers!!! He looks like a rat with a goatee. I am 100% disappointed in the haircut my dog received and will NEVER get my dog groomed here again!!

It's a corporate pet store. That being said, management does a great job of hiring local people who love animals. Most associates I've ever spoken to have been fairly knowledgeable regarding foods, and that's important. Store is always well kept, and the animals are treated well.

Really like Amy and Eden at Sheridan branch. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Others not so much. Not always stocked with what I need weather permitting. And prices of bugs not great. Don't feel like worm count is correct or alot dead.

Be careful about joining any rewards points prgdams. They will start charging your credit card a monthly fee with no authorization from you! Sneaky! Then good luck getting someone on their end to straighten it out.

While I usually got good service here from a great many people who are paid far less than their expertise deserves, on Sunday 10/4/2020 the gal working the register at 10am was very rude, snarky and condescending. She made comments about my COVID mask, my purchases and unsolicited comments about how her cats won't eat "expensive" food because they are "trash eaters". I will be doing my shopping on Amazon from now on.

I love going in there, but when i went in to buy more fish for our tank today and on other occasions, the lady that went to help us is always so rude. I decided to go to gillette from now on. Informing guest is one concept , being rude and cursing is not acceptable behavior.

I'm adopting two new cats so needed food and supplies for them. I asked for help deciding what food to buy and got it a recommendation. When I was checking out the cashier found me some coupons to save me some money. Both were really nice and quite helpful.

Love petco, great supplies and when you get the right person in the fish department she is very knowledgeable. That being said I have had experiences where I have waited half an hour or more for help in the fish department and I have also worked with employees who had no idea whatsoever what they were doing.

We were rolling through town and in need of a nail trim for our little dog Fio! We were unable to get one before leaving town and hoped to get one for him on a walk-in basis. The staff was helpful when we called ahead AND when we got there, in both the grooming and sales departments. Now, Fio is a very lovable little dude, but it still felt like the staff treated him with TLC and reported back that he was very good during the trim, which of course felt EXTRA good as his mom. Thanks Sheridan Petco!

Great place to find pet supplies. I buy all of my fish only from here. However, the “aquatic specialist” is very rude. She thinks she knows everything about fish. I understand her concerns, but she’s so rude. All the other employees are nice though.

I just called in with some questions about dog food and was so impressed by the customer service of the lady who answered the phone I felt compelled to write a review. She immediately went to go check and see if they had the brand of dog food I was looking for, what size bags they had in stock, and came back with other helpful information that I hadn't thought to ask for. That NEVER happens these days! It seems like when I call someplace I usually get put on hold forever, the person taking the call sounds put out that they have to go check on something, etc. Kudos to Petco, I'm now going to make my purchase there instead of online.
