Dans care is amazing. I have ordered many times and nlam always impressed with the care and quality of the fish. These photos represent 3 of my orders. Everytime fish were bagged individually as the baby dolphin is in the photo. The 2 spotted congo puffers from dans are the 2nd photo. The African Butterfly Fish are also from dans. Well worth looking here.

I got a deformed and stunted fish with swim bladder issues.Don't buy his veiltail platinum mollies.His breeders might look nice on YouTube but the offspring are junk.My fish looks like a ballon hump back platinum that can't swim.Now I'm stuck with a fish I have to hand feed. Dan is not a breeder, he's a middle man

All fish and inverts have arrived beautifully packaged in individual bags, as humane as it gets. Ive gotten tetras, shrimp, snails, and danios all happy as can be. Hard to find a vendor that cares more than Dan and his crew. The level of care is evident in every package I've received, and only confirmed when watching Dan's unboxing videos. 5 stars every time! I wasn’t sure about buying fish that needed to be shipped. However, I fell in love with the Dwarf Redtail Eel. Purchased quite a few fish from Dan’s Fish and I am so pleased with my experience. I have place 6 orders with Dan's fish, I have yet to find an online company that comes close to the care taken with shipping and the health of all the fish received has been great minus 1 swim bladder problem, the customer service in rectifying that problem was great as well. I wish more online fish sales companies would follow Dan's fish, it would help grow and protect our hobby and the fish we love to keep. Thanks for the excellent service to Dan and his crew. Definitely recommended if you are considering an online fish order.

I've been keeping fish for 4+ decades, and worked at a great fish store before, and to find someone like Dan who cares about the health,quality, and treatment of aquarium fish and selling & shipping online with such devotion is exactly what the industry needs!Started a new 100 gallon tank in fall of 2022 and every fish in it is from Dan's Fish and doing excellently. Any problems during shipment have been minor and have been immediately addressed by Dan surpassing my expectations and much to my satisfaction!I have No hesitation recommending Dan's Fish to anyone! I have bought fish several times, and every time they’ve arrived carefully packed and in very good condition. The Longfin bronze Cories are gorgeous, and the blue-gold double swordtail guppies have been amazing (and prolific!). Several other types of guppies are new to me, but doing wonderfully.Dansfish has beautiful and healthy fish, responsive support, wholesome content, and the goal of bettering the hobby. I’m impressed, and will be continuing to purchase fish, even from Baltimore.

I am a 100% satisfied customer. First off I ordered six fish and they shipped seven. Seventh was labeled extra. I ordered the fish on Thursday they shipped on Monday , and arrived at 1200noon on Tuesday. Very quick if you ask me. They were expertly packed. Each fish had their own bag, which was double bagged. The container had two heat packs. Most importantly my fish were all very healthy, look beautiful, and they were even eating their dinner later in the day. Awesome experience thanks so much!

Dan's Fish is my most favorite fish retailer. Dan is honest to a fault, upfront with his weekly reports on youtube, and most importantly the fish care is of topmost importance for him (personal experience). This is reflected in the price, good quality well-cared fish can't be dirt cheap. Perhaps you won't find every fish you ever dream of, but the ones you will, will make you happy. I also like the website, customer service and business model as such.

This was the best experience buying fish online. Quick communication with setting up ship date. I have purchased fish online from other sellers before but the packaging and individually bagged fish from Dans Fish is as good as it gets. Highly recommend, especially if there are fish you can't find locally. Acclimation process was floated bags in the tanks for 15 mins then plop and drop. The pseudomugils have settled in great and spawned just weeks after receiving them. I look forward to ordering again.

Fortunately for us, the fishes, and the hobby, Dan's Fish spends significant resources on taking great care of their animals, including a significant quarantine process, a varied diet, and clean facilities. Don't just take my word for it; check out their YouTube channel for tours and weekly livestreams where you'll see the guts of the place on display. This online fish store does literally everything above industry standard. They are careful about ethical sourcing. Their shipping process emphasizes the health of the fish to like a ludicrous degree. Their refund policy accounts even for shipping costs. The owner is so transparent about his operation that you can hear about practically every loss and DOA and sick fish if you follow his youtube channel, and the losses are minimal. The rest of the industry is simply behind. Dan should be your first stop.

Truely in it for the hobby not the money type company. Everything came in beautiful and as described. Communication is top notch as well as their shipping and packaging. If something is not at my lfs i go here for it. They are the best and are my sole only fish store. Dont look anywhere else but here!
