As a seasoned traveler who seeks out luxurious experiences, I feel compelled to share my honest review of Three Forks Ranch. Having spent six nights there in the winter of 2023 for a private, high-end ski trip, I had high expectations for this renowned establishment. However, my experience left much to be desired.From the moment we arrived, it was evident that there was miscommunication between the Lodge and us. We were unexpectedly taken for a ski fitting and lunch with another couple, despite never being notified about it. Consequently, we missed our scheduled spa appointments, which was incredibly disappointing.Furthermore, we paid extra for a room with a private hot tub, only to find that it was not functioning properly. We had to wait for a couple of days before it was fixed. Additionally, the in-room snacks we opted for turned out to be a cup of nuts and dried fruit, which was underwhelming.While the overall dining experience was pleasant and the chef's skills were commendable, the last night turned out to be a major disappointment. The dining room had been booked for a private event, and we were squeezed into a less desirable space called "kitchen academy," despite specifically requesting otherwise in our initial reservation form. We were served subpar food, including pizza made by someone who admitted to never having made pizza before, frozen wings, and a literal frozen cake. The experience was far from the level of quality expected from an establishment of this reputation. To add to the odd ambiance, the massage therapist had to double as a server, resulting in a low-vibe and mismatched atmosphere that didn't meet our expectations.Although the guides provided enjoyable activities and adventures, our skiing was frequently cut short and delayed due to catering to the needs of other couples. This was not the personalized experience we had anticipated. The solo adventures with our guide, however, were much more enjoyable.On our last day, we booked a private ride to the airport at 4am. To our annoyance, an employee's family member joined us on the ride and talked non-stop throughout the early morning journey.Despite creating some fond memories on this trip, my overall experience at Three Forks Ranch fell short of expectations. As well-traveled individuals who appreciate luxury trips, we regrettably cannot recommend this establishment to our friends or family. It simply did not meet the standards we expected.

In 2019 my son in law gifted me for an elk hunting trip to Three Forks Ranch which I will be forever grateful. When we got there I was amazed at the site of this place, it was majestic. I owned 50 acres of land in Michigan U.P. Just for deer hunting but when I saw this place and the surrounding views l could not find wards to describe it. I thought this was what Heaven looks like for a hunter.The staff was very friendly and my guide Jeremiah was great,he was very patient and very helpful. I am forever grateful to John Kerr and Grace Parker for finding me a last minute spot for a 2023 elk hunt tag this fall.I can not thank you enough.

I hunted on this ranch with a guide named Dan. Rifle season. Bull elk. Everyone with whom I came in contact on the ranch was a class act and super kind and helpful. The night before my hunt I had an issue with my rifle and was nearly convinced my hunt was over before it even started but they took me to their guiding shack, fixed it, I rolled out of bed for a 6AM hunt, and I was able to close the deal and depart for home by about 1PM the same day. By the way, the drive in, and the premises of the ranch, are stunning. What an amazing place!

This is a gorgeous property, and truly exceptional, right down to the bedding. We were able to see and taste and experience things that were completely new and completely satisfying. Tons of activities to choose from with personal guides to make sure you get the most out of each...a deluxe spa like nothing you've ever seen...and a staff that is completely committed to making your stay everything you want it to be. One of our best vacations ever and can't wait to go back.

Like none other...we have enjoyed the many blessings of the Three Forks Ranch and marvelous Three Forks Family for almost 20 years. While much has changed over the years, the people (Jenn, Brian L and the others are like family), ranch, river, hunts and exceptional services remain-committed to delivering an exceptional experience like non other. The 31 1/2" bonus trout this year set a new personal record. We continue to enjoy with family, as well as business partners and look forward to many more reunions to come. If there is a “Heaven on Earth”, we found it! Our family has traveled extensively throughout world and few destinations are repeated….except Three Forks.We have visited Three Forks every year for, I believe, 9 years….and our addiction has now expanded to twice per year; one summer, one winter.Everything about this experience is first rate. The facility, the staff (our adopted extended family), the food….all are amazing.With their recent association with the Mayo Clinic, it has become a true wellness destination for both body and soul.Prepare to be truly spoiled.M & D

Three Forks Ranch is my favorite place in the entire world. The fishing is fantastic, with large rainbows and a lot of them. The accommodations are 5 stars +. The food is fantastic, wine and liquor are all-inclusive with your favorite high-end brands ( Macallan 12 ). I have been 10 times and will go 10 more. The best part is the people who work there . Do yourself a favor and splurge on Three Forks.

I don’t write reviews often but when I do, I do because it’s an experience like no other, anywhere. Imagine all of your needs, wants and dreams coming true in one place. That place is 3 Forks. My family and I visit 3 or 4 times every year in every season and we’ve done it all there. They’ve got every fantastic adventure you can dream up. The world class services, food, accommodations and outdoor activities are second to none in the country. But what makes 3 Forks is the people. I’ve developed relationships with guides, service people and staff and I’m overjoyed to not call them friends, I call them family. When we are at 3 Forks, we’re home.

We had an incredible time at Three Forks Ranch. Staff was professional yet personal. Jimmy, our guide was knowledgeable about how the stream was fishing, wait staff extremely attentive to every need. Amazing experience! The owners, staff, and guides are very friendly and personable. They made me feel comfortable, like I was part of the family. There is sooo much to do here, and the scenery is surreal. The fishing was great but I couldn't have cared less about catching any, I was too caught up enjoying the surroundings. They have wildlife viewing excursions, skeet shooting, spa treatments, a rifle and pistol range, skiing, fishing, archery shooting, hiking, hunting, biking,... The list goes on and on, there is just too much to list. Whatever you choose to do you are guaranteed to have a great time with a guide that personalizes the experience for you.These were terrific people. I very much appreciate the opportunity to visit Three Forks Ranch and would like to thank them for the experience of a lifetime.Simply incredible.NOTE: Google Maps directions are not accurate. From where Google says you've arrived go west on 70 2-3 miles (cross 3 or 4 cattle guards) and turn right on Route 710 (There is a sign here for Three Forks Ranch). Follow it 14 miles, 2 miles of paved, then 12 miles of gravel/dirt. There is a gate and paved driveway on the left. My attached photos show the location, Orange pointer shows where Google Maps guided me, blue marker is the actual location.

Excellent getaway for your family or friends. They have all sorts of activities: ice fishing, skiing, snow boarding, and much more. Summer months have hunting, fishing, and much more.I will definitely put the resort on the list for future travel. I highly recommend and the staff was amazing!

Very disappointed in how we were treated for a Ranching for Wildlife elk tag this year especially but also the past few years. Guide was rude, treated us like we were an inconvenience to him and rushed through every aspect of the hunt. They cater to out of state hunters, because that's where their bread and butter lies, but drawing a ranching tag is just as important. We won't return (I'm sure they're happy to hear) - I do not recommend applying at this ranch. Can't wait for our DOW survey to arrive.

Magical. There is no better way to describe this place. No detail is too small to be left out. From the beautiful valley the lodge is situated in, to the attention to detail in decor, the fantastic food, the friendliness of the staff, the wonderful rooms, the every single amenity you could ever need, the fishing and other activities...this place has been so well thought out as to been rendered magical.
