I don’t mind the high prices too much but the fact we’re paying that high price and the produce is expired is ridiculous. The past few times I’ve been there they had a bunch of stuff on the shelf that expires the next day. And a lot of stuff that was already expired. Disgusting to charge those high prices when they can’t even fix their shelves!!! Bread, eggs, milk, veggies, fruit, cheese, all expired. FIX YOUR STORE!! Stop being lazy and getting drunk at the liquor store! So tired of going in there while management is sitting in back and getting drunk instead of fixing the shelves. Whoever runs it obviously can’t run it. Please step down and let someone who actually cares run the joint.

Love the taxidermy inside that shows the uniqueness of the area. The view as you walk out is amazing and the personnel are very friendly

They sell really big beets, in the produce department. I wasn't expecting this, but I appreciate their diversity. This helps me make really delicious Borsch!

I am so grateful for this store - on a solo road trip up from Colorado on an early weekend morning, I couldn't find a place that was open and/or felt safe enough to stop at for many miles. The terrain was pretty wide open so stopping on the side of the road to relieve myself was not appealing either, but I was on the verge of doing so when I got to the town of Saratoga. This store had a bathroom well marked in the back of the store that saved my bacon, and then I stocked up on several great snack items and refilled my cooler with ice. Super nice vibes in the place too. Thank you Valley Foods IGA!

As for as I know, only Grocery store in town. Today’s prices, some things way to high. Meat Best product they sell. Staff extremely friendly. Checking out easy.

Small town feel and friendly service. They have what any other grocery store has and you get to support local business instead of big corporations. Produce is always fresh, meat selection is good, prices are fair, and the staff are super nice.

Great local grocery store! Found everything we needed, and then some. Customer service was friendly & prices were awesome honestly. Spent under $200 for a month of groceries for my husband and I. Will definitely be back!

It is a decent grocery store with very pleasant staff. The prices are high compared to the average town and selection is limited but you will not starve. Also, you can usually find a one or two good deals for quick sale clearance. It would be a long drive to visit a store where groceries are cheaper so just bite the bullet and support the local grocer. Didn't have any frozen pork sausage.Also, they only had eggs in styrofoam, which I won't buy. I'd be willing to keep paying more if the products where environmentally smart.

We had a really bad experience from an old checkout worker named Karon Wilson. Short, ugly and obviously insane. This old badger berated my wife for no reason and snarled at me when I told her she had a bad attitude. This is the only grocery in town but there is a Dollar store where you can get some basics and much cheaper. This incident happened some time back but just wanted to warn you to avoid the short, gray haired old troll. She's bat sh@t crazy.

You have to stop if only to see the fantastic complete taxidermy exhibit lining all the walls. A museum of Wyoming wildlife and more. A standing grizzly meets you at the door. By the way, best and only USDA choice butcher in Carbon County.

I came for a loaf of bread and stayed for the "Grand Slam" in the produce section.If you are looking at this review and you haven't been, take a few minutes because this little slice of americana is about as unique as they come.

I give this store 4 stars instead of 3 because, for a town of only around 2,000 people, it has what you need. If it doesn't, you can usually find something that will work. I usually shop the sales, or last minute items. Prices on some things are higher than they need to be. We do shop here nearly every day.
