We enjoyed The Malt so much! We have already decided we are going to stop there again on our way back through to Yellowstone later this summer.Great spot to stop if you have kids or dogs. We were able to eat outside on the patio with shaded umbrellas and a water bowl was even provided for our dogs. They have many kids menu options to choose from.The food was amazing and so was the service. Welcomed at the door, helped us navigate our dogs to a good spot, and even brought us a dog bowl.A bit random, but their bathroom is really cool! It also includes a diaper changing station and a stool for kids to reach the sink to wash their hands. It's the small things that count!Nice view of the river from the patio as well!Bottom line, you must come here! Enjoy!Kid-friendliness: They had multiple kids menu options.

This small bar and grill is fabulous. The food was sensational. The service was professional and excellent. And the bar was exceptional for whiskeys of all types. Pours were generous and reasonably priced. Stopped on the way to Winterpark, Co on Friday for a long weekend. Stopped on the return trip on Monday. The owner Danny Burau was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. 10 stars in our book. Burgers, fish and chips, wings, grilled cheese and tomato soup were wonderful. Plenty to eat at outstanding prices. We will return many more times.

If you are not eating and drinking at the Malt, you're missing out.Vegetarian options: The sweet potator fry burger is a culinary event.Kid-friendliness: The owners have a family and care about being approachable to the family environment. They respect people and family values ... this is a family friendly restaurant.

After ordering our food they said we couldn't have any ice cream treats, because the ice cream machine was down. Then we saw several Malts come out and then later people at the bar were served ice cream treats. Food was about as good as McDonald's and over priced. If you like spicy food, the Hot fies are hot, my lips were burning after. Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was ok, but doesn't come with peppers. Service was not good. Daughter got a glass bottle of coke, but had no way of opening it. Had to wait until they brought our food out to ask for a bottle opener. Very disappointed. Expect to pay close to $20 a person if you get fries.

Good food. Service out front is kind slow. And you got to refill your drink. I tip ahead. And if I tip I think they should have to refill my drink. I mean why else tip? To bring my food to the table?. So I will probably stop tipping. That won't stop me from returning.Kid-friendliness: Needs better updates on high chairs locks broken.

The Malt was such a great haven from the rain on our camping trip. Once we realized our food wasn't going to cook in a soggy firepit, we decided to head over to the Malt for burgers. As we waited out the storm we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and fun games at our table.The food was delicious! I highly recommend a shake and burger. Boozy shakes for adults were available and our group loved the whiskey selection. We ordered the Cowboy and Firewater burgers. Both were filling and delicious. The truffle fries were flavorful and a group favorite! The service was friendly and accommodating. If it hadn't been raining, the location has an amazing outdoor seating area that overlooks the river. I highly recommend this yummy eatery!

Ate here for lunch two days in a row. Great atmosphere, and dog friendly deck and grass area. Had chicken sandwiches both days, the Southern and Orange. Both incredibly flavorful, and the truffle fries were spot on. Good beer selections, and friendly staff. Not a fancy place for a date night, but if you want good food, definitely the right choice.

First time I ordered the buffalo mushroom burger and thought it was great. I forgot and ordered a regular mushroom burger next time and boy was it gross, no flavor or seasoning. I'm pretty sure the difference between the 2 is they only season the "buffalo" burger and flatten it out. I have to pay an extra how many dollars for it to be seasoned properly? Same tricks as the old place and the salad was pathetic.
