The grooming area got my lil one in asap no appointment needed and cuz I tried her nails 1st they only charged me for the buffing and they let her know with a head scratch and pat she was ok. 1st time ever having anyone else do her nails area was very clean very professional and very very nice and friendly also let me know how short to go by what to look for they helped me get her very long nails shorter. The one pic that doesn't have my hand in it is her nails bout sep 15-25 before I trimmed them Oct 1 of this year so thanks for your kindness, thoughtful advice, and friendly staff. Well worth the price when they got her nails done in under 5 minutes and she is a hard nail trimmer buffer/file of ruff edges deer head Chihuahua.

I have been in three times this past week and all three times everything was hunky-dory. The first visit was to purchase some dog clippers and I told him what I was looking for, low decibel noise clippers. Cameron was most helpful and polite while having conversation with him. The second visit was a couple of days later and Stacy helped with getting a coat fitted for my Maltese poodle Sissy and that went very well, then I came in a third time that week to get an appointment for Sissy to be washed and groomed and Kyanne helped I knew her from a previous time when she was a food server. If ever I owned a small business, these three employees would be welcomed to be on my team, because they are hard workers and most polite while attending me and I see them talking to other patrons in Petco, Rock Springs you should be proud to have a staff with the kindness and how they serve their customers, for they are Numero Uno.

Petco is my primary source of pet nutrition. I think they maintain a clean and organized store. I also appreciate the member sales, especially during the holidays when money is tighter than usual. I also appreciate that they keep the normal merchandise is the same spot which makes grabbing my dog’s food and treats simple and stress free. I also really like the vital care premier program which has been affordable and very beneficial to me even as a single pet owner.

We bought a big bag of dog food and some treats for our pup. The sale clerks were very nice and helpful. I needed help with my Petco app and they walked me through it. But the best part was how nice they were to our pup. She loves going to Petco!

Great store and staff. But I hate the no bag policy. First we had to go from paper to plastic to save the trees they specifically grow for paper products. Now plastic bags are the problem. I reuse and recycle, I really thinks it's about the dime or whatever they charge.

Locally our Petco is amazing is I’ve never been treated badly in there they’re very helpful. Great customer service. Also, we do a lot of online shopping for food and that has also been wonderful.

Great grooming team! Paige took such good care of my elderly dog and made his paws look fantastic! My dog also seemed to enjoy her loveins and we also got him a cookie that they sell there. I've also bought tanks and aquarium supplies for my gosh from here, there tanks are very reasonably priced!

I recently noticed our wholehearted membership stopped working. Checked the site with no way to update. Prices keep it from 5 stars. The employees are great but the bean counters at the top should give us some discounts if they love all pets.

We've used Petco for 6 years and have never had issues. This time everyone was nice but the grooming wasn't great. $99 for an unwashed dog who still had egg yolk in his brow. His back was so unevenly shaved we had to trim at home and give him a bath. Could have shaved and bathed him ourselves and saved $99 Was very disappointed.

My kitties are very happy as you had fresh cat grass. As soon as I brought the fresh cat grass in the house both of them were all over it munching away. They stay so much more healthy with the fresh cat grass.

RANT PETCOMy boyfriend and I are regulars, needless to say we are animal lovers. We have taken in plenty of there ”surrenders”, well sadly we had a terrible experience today. We have spent literally thousands of dollars in there. Yesterday we went in and we were offered one of the surrendered lizards out of this tank that was brought in with 3 lizards. We were offered one and instantly fell in love. We asked how much he was to be told “ 20-30$ is the rehoming/surrender fee. (Typical we have 3 of there surrenders) Well he had to call and check that with the companion animal leader destiny. He took down our name and number and said that we would be the first to know the price because usually this is a very pricey lizard. Well turns out she planned on keeping him and they couldn’t just say that. Instead,THEY LIED TO US SO THAT SHE CAN KEEP IT. I went in and talked to her this afternoon and she lied straight to my face and said he was 400$ retail price and that’s just the way it is. I knew this was not true as I used to work there. While in there and browsing, I noticed the other surrender that was with him, can you guess how much he was 30$? Weird. I had my boyfriend call Shantell the store manager & sure enough the only reason it’s “400$” is because they expected me to not buy it for that price. Shantel let my boyfriend know that destiny will be keeping it & that it’snot a beginner lizard. They are all very aware that we are not “beginner” reptile owners. They deliberately lied about this animal & it’s price. Do better. Not only all of this but I have to rant about the laziness everytime you walk in this store. You have to beg for help. Search for any employee. Do your jobs people. You lost some good customers today.

Great job! I have a slightly overweight Australian Shepard. He’s a great big baby and doesn’t particularly like to cooperate with the groomer so it can take several hours sometimes, like 5-7, she was done in two! He looked happy and so cute!

I adopted a turtle from pettco a few days ago. Her name was Shelly. when i got her she seemed like she had many problems with her. she died this morning and my suspicions were true. I then called up Petco about this and they couldnt do anything about the turtle because she was adopted. But they will refund a fish or something that wasnt under "adoption." If you see a cheap "adoptable pet" dot get it, its more than likely sick. Oh i should mention they dont treat the aquatic section well at all. Many dead fish in the tanks...

Shantell told us if we got cichilds they wouldn’t do harm to our other fish. She swore up and down. She doesn’t know what she’s talking about as they killed 3 of our angelfish. She’s has little to no knowledge about her store/job.Highly DO NOT recommend. Johnny is the best and has helped beyond the stars. Super sad a Gm doesn’t have the knowledge about her own store. Not impressed. Maybe hire a new GM that has the knowledge to run a pet store.

The place was well staffed with knowledgeable people who seemed to care about their jobs. The isles were clean and all the items were organized, the pets were healthy looking and their living areas were clean. The prices were very standard not too overly priced. Maybe less empty cages and more options of critters in the small critters section.

We buy a lot of Saltwater fish from PetCo so we are there several times a month. Today though we stood waiting for help at the saltwater fish for almost 20min while we watch 1 employee socializing with a friend, the blond I asked for help and she was rude and the cashier was on there personal cell phone. I wanted to walk out but my husband wanted a few things, but from now on I will order my dog food on Chewy.com and fish we will get in UT.
