Worst customer service in town. Went to lumber desk to ask for help finding and carrying some items. The clerk rolled his eyes and said it was pointless for him to call someone to help because they will not come and assist customers. I left and went to Ace hardware. At Ace an associate met me at the door and helped me find everything I was looking for and asked if I needed help loading it in the car.

Ending staff was great helping me today. Sadly the Mary lady that works there needs to find a different job not in customer service, she was very unprofessional, very rude and not helpful. When asked simple questions that an assistant manager should be able to politely answer. If it wasn't for the other wonderful staff that works there I would never go back again because of her behavior and we are in there quite frequently.

Very friendly and helpful staff, huge inventory and reasonable prices. They honor past and present military with discounts every day of the year and offer a senior citizen’s discount on Tuesday in store. Store manager (Brandon) is very down to earth and has a career history with the company and his knowledge and experience is evident. So happy to have Sutherlands in our community!

Decent store, friendly people, but their systems are not up to speed. Returning items is often times a nightmare. Corporate needs to invest in their computer system! If there is even the potential for a return I won't shop here until the issue has been fixed.That said the actual employees are super helpful.

Lots of merchandise, but they don't carry sinks,tubs, things for mobile homes, and there are alot of them in this area.

Bill was a great help in getting my son to choose a mattress after a couple trips to various stores. He was convinced to try it and I about didn't get him back up. Friendly staff and good selection of merchandise

Would have given you 5 stars but our cashier (Grace)was not accommodating to us almost couldn't get her elbows off the resister long enough to wait on us. We are definitely not used to this type of service from this store as they are usually very helpful!

Eh it's ok the staff is trying to be helpful but I ordered from here twice and they got my order wrong both times my drywall was the wrong size and insulation was the wrong kind and the wrong size. I had my stuff delivered to my house I paid around 85 dollars the guy who dropped my stuff off said I would have to take it up with the store. Well I had no way of getting my things back to the store to exchange it for what I ordered originally so I just had to work with what I was given and make the best of it. I suggest double checking your orders before they deliver or when you pick up

I finally went to our new Sutherland's. The last time I was there it was Kmart miss that store! It was nice, clean the employees were very helpful too! I like the variety of items they sell too! I will go back soon for sure! 🙂

Actually Was A really Nice and organized store. First time in there. Helped a buddy of mine get some kitchen remodeling supplies but had a good look and it was really nice. Recommend to any builders and local contractors.

Guy in the back was great. Woman up front told us to get in the line to the right because she was on the phone. Called someone else to take the call and then proceeded to check some friends. Took us forever to check out, I think the kid who had our line was new. Woman needs a course in customer service.

I came to the Riverton Wy sutherlands to buy some drywall sanding equipment. I was told to buy one attatchable sander head and sand paper. When I tried to use it the paper did not fit the sanding tool.When I came back to return it the assistant manager (mary) said I cannot return it because the packaging was not all there. It has a small paper that clips to the end that was not there. She said I can come back on monday to talk to the store manager but he will say the same.As I see it I was directed to buy the wrong thing, it is very very bad customer service to not take it back when it is obviously not used. And the rude way in which it was put does not help. It seemed that I was some how to know that I could not bring it back. It says nothing on the receipt about this.I expect more from a large store

It was ok. They are just getting started. People were helpful. Big store. Clean. Might have given it a 5 star if it wasn't so new and people knew exactly what they had. But they tried at least. So it's a 4 star for now.

Bought furniture from Sutherland. Only 2 months later the furniture fell apart. Called sutherlands but they said they can’t do anything to help me and I had to call the manufacturer. Not easy to find the manufacturer. Once I found them they said they would talk to Sutherland and get it replaced. I am still waiting for a replacement but bow no one will return my calls and I have a broken piece of furniture I can’t use. Don’t buy furniture from Sutherland it is expensive and junk furniture. I will not buy furniture from sutherlands again. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!

Staff is always helpful. Never had the I'm to busy to help. A bit pricey in some things. But you get what you pay for. I'll pay for good customer service and helpful staff.

Brought a return in. Andrew was helpful, we went and found the size of board we needed , stain, and carpet trim. We went to check out waiting for Andrew as he was the person who handled the return. A Brandon said he could help us and so he did. A woman came up and interjected herself in to the register's with this Brandon and Andrew. Brandon, who I assume is a "higher up "as his name was stiched on his shirt asked her to open the other register and give him 14 dollars and 69 cents she proceeded to argue with him. .....she started to "chew/correct" Andrew out on the "floor" I added my 2 cents by telling her that was unprofessional to chew him out in front of customers. She had an attitude to begin and that made it worse. She walked off saying she had a business to run to which I told her not without customers you won't. This Brandon said he would talk to her however my guess is he won't. NEVER do you correct, chew out, etc an employee in front of customers as I told her he was helping us and it was under control. Andrew thanked us for supporting him.This woman needs some training as I am sure she is in a higher postion as well; as her name was stitched on her shirt as well . I believe it was Stacy. Needless to say I have a foul taste for Sutherlands and will my best to NOT return if at all possible.

I went in to buy some plumbing equipment, and my experience was good. I had to return an item, and decided to get some paint. This was like watching the three stooges try to figure out the paint machine. After half an hour of waiting, finding other people, trying to figure out the machine, I decided to leave. When I left, there were five people huddled around the paint machine trying to figure out how it would work. I took the paint color I wanted to Sherman Williams and they were able to match it and get me out the door in 10 minutes. now, Sherman Williams is much more expensive than sutherlands, but the associate found me some deals and the paint ended up being the same price. I will not return to sutherlands.
