I went to Family Dollar this morning around 11:00 a.m. to buy some stuf and birthday balloons for my son. Right when we came out from the store one balloon popped, it was defective. I came right in the store to show them the Ballon and explained what happened. The lady who was there told me very rood ton that once I bought it Dollar Family doesn't replace it anymore. She completely told me to buy another one again. Then I said, I just bought the balloons, I came out, I told her there must be a problem with the Ballon. She kept telling me "No, buy a new one. We don't replace." I was upset. She is not a good employee. I will not shop in Dollar Family. I will go to walmart or somewhere else. It is a bad management because of one Ballon it won't make them lose anything to satisfy a client who spent more than $54 in the store. It was my son's birthday Ballon. She didn't even have empathy at all.Bad employee.

Very nice staff. Maybe Family Dollar could spring for a bigger building. Just not enough room makes it feel cluttered.Over all wonderful service.Best wishes.

Inexpensive, great bargains, store is usually kept fairly neat & tidy. Can often find unexpected buys if you take the time to really lookCheck out person must have had a rough day, as she was abrupt & just threw our items into the bags. Plus her voice & body language clearly showed she was upset about something.

They pay a dollar over minimum wage.. no benefits such as insurance, sick leave or vacation.. Half hour lunches.... And they make you pay back any missing till money even if you are a trustworthy and honest person who might have or might have not made that mistake... Someone could have reach over and took money from your till while you were away and you are liable for it.... It's BS... Plus the money you give them for missing till money is already been taxed... Not a good company

SUCH RUDE EMPLOYEES!!! I asked a question and the three women "working" were talking s*** on me as I was standing right there because of it. There were 3 of them there just talking. The woman checking us out took forever for 4 items because she was more focused on her conversation. Don't come here, make a list and go to Walmart.

I love this little store!! It's full of great deals on so many things... My son and grandma love coming here with me! The staff is great and the manager always has a smile for us!

Friendly staff, clean aisles, stocked very well, a greater selection of milk & eggs would be nice. Great prices. A great place to shop when times is of the essence

The Powell Family Dollar is great. It's the cleanest FD I've ever been into. The clerks are friendly and helpful.
