I traveled through Newcastle a few weeks ago, stayed at the Pine Country Hotel and shopped at Woody's Food Center. I love the small town feel and the fact that Woody took an old Safeway and kept the store in great shape. The shelves were full when I was there. The place was clean and bright. I even bought a t-shirt that I wear around in Southern California. Thanks to the friendly people.

I like going to woodys to shop. No matter who is working they are always friendly and mire than willing to help. I never have to search for someone to help. Only bad thing I would say about them is I have a hard time getting around and really wish they had motorized carts.it would make shopping so much less painful.

I shop at Woody's every summer when I visit the Newcastle area. They always have what I need and everyone is so friendly. They even had tahini for a special meal we wanted to make!

Has the brands and prices, loses a star because instead of a handicap accessible check out I had to squeeze my knee scooter through a tight check out lane.

Good typical small town grocery store. Great variety of selections. Deli food is good. Catch things on sale. Produce, etc. Get ice cream elsewhere!
