Had a great day out on the Snake with Peter Johann. Definitely on the top 5 list of guides we’ve used. He treated my wife with respect and was very instructive without being condescending. We would highly recommend him and SRA to anyone looking to fish the Snake. It was a great day and you won’t find a more scenic float.

A bit pricy but the beauty of the area made it worthwhile. I felt that my guide (John, Cody along too) did a really good job teaching me the basics of fly fishing - it's clear he has a passion for fishing, and he was constantly giving me tips to improve my technique and our teamwork as he maneuvered the boat. Had a really nice time with my dad and brother out there.

Had an amazing trip with my guide Peter. The weather was unseasonably rainy, and the river wasn't in the best condition, but he helped turn what could've been a crowded day fighting other boats into an amazing experience. I would absolutely recommend him and would 100% request him on my next trip.

Everyone in our group of 4 adults was new to fly fishing. JB and Paul were patient, gave great instructions and provided us with a terrific experience. Our only regret was that we didn't book the full day trip... but we will next time!

Normally, if I'm not happy with an experience I'll quietly take my business elsewhere. I've never written a bad review or any review for that matter, but for Snake River Anglers, I'm making an exception. My daughter and I booked a trip to continue learning about fly fishing and have fun. Our guide was critical and pushy about our fishing technique and very disrespectful. We're just trying to have fun and enjoy a day on the water together and didn't realize this was a qualifying event for the "Trout Olympics." The guide also managed to get in a little cursing in front of my daughter to top the day off. I didn't say anything because we were stuck in a boat with the guy but we got off the water ASAP and unfortunately, leaving was the best part of the trip. After we left, my daughter even mentioned how rude the guide was and we're super easy going people. I've never been fishing for a hour or two and started looking at my watch. I contacted the manger after the trip. I didn't want a refund but did want to let him know about the bad experience. He said "I'll talk to the guide and see what he thinks about this." Be careful where you spend your hard earned money.

Great experience. I learned so much about fly fishing that I bought a fly fishing rod when I got home. Very knowledgeable guides.
