For that local resident giving 5 star, I'd like to let you know that the police, attorney and judge in your town were all colluded. I actually appeared in the court after 3 months and witnessed the whole process was a joke.The police in this town don't even sit in their car or use a speed detector. They just stand there (this town hall is also their police office), hold a cup of coffee, see an out-of-state car, get into his car immediately and chase it. Their eyes are the speed detectors and they "visually estimate" your speed and put a whatever number they think is on your ticket.This town is pathetic.

First; I’m not related to anyone on the police department here, but I do live here with small children and if you claim you weren’t going that fast, or didn’t see one of the 4! Speed limit signs, you’re the problem. If you’re claiming you got a ticket for going “6” over, you were still speeding! Just drive the 30 mph. And fyi; speed limit in all towns in Wyoming are default 25 unless otherwise posted, so stop speeding through small towns and you won’t get a ticket. Know why ppl with out of state tags get hit most? Cause y’all don’t follow the speed limit! Y’all goofy for sure.Signed,A southern transplant.

There was no warning of speed limit change at railroad tracks which I hit brakes in case they were rough. Too late! 3 police cars in a one horse town were waiting to write a fast ticket for $180 bucks for going over 6mph! This town IS the Boars Nest of Hazzard County! Restaurant is town hall and they know that people won't ever drive though there to fight ticket! So one of the comments on here had to be a relative of the police dept. The sign was way before Town as there was a curve which 30 would be proper.. So if you don't like speeding put flashing speed limit signs up in town Boss Hoggs! Oh wait! I'm sorry, that's your only revenue by ripping off We The People!!!! Fines for going 100mph on I-25 people get $180.00 fine!!!

Quiet town, when people aren't speeding through like they don't have any sense. If you're coming through here, the speed limit is 30. It's on the signs in and out of Manderson. You should be going 30 by the time you pass the sign, not after. That's how speed limits work; be that speed if its lower by the time you pass the sign/dont acclerate to a higher rate of speed before the sign.

If you're reading these reviews, it's most likely because you got hit by manderson's speed trap on your way to Yellowstone.Edit: My insurance rates went up 50% because Wyoming laws won't allow you to take driver's education to avoid a point on your license. So you get ****ed by your insurance for years so they can eek a few hundred bucks out of you.Get stuffed, manderson city staff and police!

Find another way to Yellowstoneif you pass through this town, You WILL get a speeding ticket regardless of how slow you are goingI have proof that I wasn't speeding (My Phone's GPS) shows I never came close to the speed limit, Much less the 41 mph the corrupt cop said I was goingAVOID this TOWN!!

I would echo what Christopher said. They need to work on their signage as it isn't clear there's a speed change when coming off the highway.
