Im giving all top stars.Very few locally owned and operated family runned businesses.The rooms were clean and very comfortable, its not far off the 80 to stop and rest for the night. Warm and cozy is how the wife put it.She enjoyed the amenities and that our lil fur baby was able to stay with us.Thanks for the best nights sleep.

The fog driving thru this area was insane, pulled over to get a room for the night.You can hear everything from the other rooms, which sucks cause I needed sleep.....but the dude behind the counter was awesome, to me and my doggo, so it's five 🌟!!

For the price, it was not too bad! Surprisingly, it is a very cozy town and their surroundings towns as well. Bridger Valley is kind of a hidden gem in an otherwise boring I-80 Wyoming corridor. About the hotel, a small stove and fridge and two queen beds. I stayed in September. One can see the door not properly sealed. So, come winter I wouldn't be surprised if the rooms are colder than usual. A few cosmetic repairs in the rooms might be necessary for a better experience. Nevertheless, I would stayed again at this Inn if I find myself needing an affordable place to stay in Bridger Valley Wyoming.

Stayed the night at the Gateway Inn exit 41 Lyman, Wyoming. Older motel, but it was a Very Pleasant Experience... Bed was comfortable, room was very clean and staff was extremely friendly. Hot shower and water pressure was good. I felt safe and slept really well. I highly recommend if you are a single woman or w/kids traveling alone across interstate 80. 2 mi off of exit 41 in the town of Lyman and definitely get breakfast or dinner at the Cowboy Cafe, food was very good as well. Desiree at the front desk is a 5 star in my book!Safety: I felt very secure.

The front desk was very nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable. I removed a star because check out was at 11am but around 9am one of the workers tried to walk in. The bottom lock was broken so we could only use the top bolt lock. If it wouldn’t have been for the bolt lock the employee would have walked right in. It was scary to be woken up in the morning to someone trying to walk in. Other than that our stay was great.

I give it 5 stars not because of the first impression of the building but the friendliness, the staff exhibits a fresh sense of country hospitality. Looks like a family operation, the young lady at the desk. The room was comfortable air conditioning. Nothing was falling apart, and everything I needed to be comfortable.The price is affordable. 2 miles to the right or south of I 80 at the second rest area entering Wyoming. I don't remember the name of the town.Although it's quite.

They saved us from sleeping in our van for the night! I'm a Canadian moving to the USA and I can't really reserve hotels cause I'm not sure what time we'd arrive with the 40+hours we have to drive. Yesterday was a Lil worrisome...Every hotel, motel and ins we called around town were fully booked solid. We were getting to a point of feeling defeated until my husband called them. We told them we were around an hour away and they said that at that time no one would be at the desk but they whent above and beyond to make sure we could get a room and get our room key. Amazing kind staff! Bonus is they allow pets too! So my lil guy was able to relax after a stressful long drive!Room is cute, homey and clean. I'm very happy we found this place! Thank you you guys!

The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room was clean. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was just fine for traveling through. It was so quiet, so we had a good nights sleep. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room, so bring your own or maybe ask at the front desk. I made do without just fine. Would happily stay again.

Gateway Inn was such a savior for us. We recently moved from Maryland to California and Gateway Inn was so accommodating. We didn't have anything booked in advance because we weren't sure how far we'd make it in the drive. We called at about 9:00pm and showed up near 11:30pm. They took my family and our three dogs in for the night. The views right around the corner were the stuff that dreams are made of. The accommodations were cute, quaint and SUPER clean. We we're able to get a good night sleep before trucking on to the last leg of our journey.Thank you Gateway Inn!

Great and friendly staff! Best king size bed I ever have slept in!We were passing Lyman on our way to Salt Lake City when we couldn’t keep our eyes opened anymore. We made a reservation through Booking.com and didn’t show up until after midnight. The office closes at 10 pm, but the owner came and opened for us and checked us in anyway! The king size bed was one of the most comfy hotel beds I ever have slept in. We had such a hard time to get up this morning and continue the drive since we just wanted to stay under the blanket. It was clean and had everyone you would need for a night on the road. Would definitely recommend!

This place was a total life saver! The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. They got us setup with a couple of rooms last minute due to the weather conditions on the 80. The rooms were very clean with up to date heaters that made the room comfortably warm without any additional sounds. If I ever come through this way again. I will certainly stay here.

We were driving through the area and needed to sleep for a few hours. This hotel was very accommodating. And the area was beautiful! Our dog had his first deer encounter basically in the hotel parking lot! Considering we just randomly picked a hotel to stay at, I dont think we would have found any better! The front desk staff was very nice as well!

Warm, clean, comfortable! My husband and I were stranded in Lyman after our vehicle broke down. The staff at the hotel took good care of us and we were also directed to an excellent, fair mechanic. Thank God for the nice people in Lyman, WY!

The rooms are very nicely appointed, the beds are comfortable and they clearly put forth effort into making the place look very nice. We weren't really expecting much from an out-of-the-way place, but the lady at the front desk was outstanding and we were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms looking so nice. The bathrooms could use an update, but overall the place is great for the price. I was afraid they might be overcharging until I saw the room. We'll certainly be staying again if we come back through here and highly appreciate this pleasant escape from the I-80 road hogs and bumper riders (oddly enough it was the semis, not the four wheels).

Very outdated, but very clean, not much for water pressure in shower. Not much for amenities but that was alright I bring my own hair dryer. Was a nice quiet place to sleep. Great staff and Manager was real nice about checking us in so late.

Fantastic place to stay. Big, clean and spacious rooms. Very kind staff.I called at 1am and managed to get the apartment suite for me and 2 friends. It had 2 bedrooms and living room+kitchen; (1 queen bed, 1 king bed and a sofa bed.)We slept like gods and made quite the breakfast feast with the cooking supplies provided.

It is what it is - inexpensive room for the night. Odd room layout, especially with a king bed that took 90% of it. Window coverings were not sufficient, walking by them produced enough air current to open a crack that looked directly onto the bed. A/C unit is located beside the bed, and blew directly onto the free standing closet that took up 5% of the room, because over night guests use so much closet space. Mini fridge started leaking water onto carpet once adjustable leg backed out when door was opened. Toilet seat became detached when leaning to wipe. Pet friendly, but need to cross the main road for a place for your pet to do their business. However... I slept well. King bed was darned comfortable and despite time traveling back to the 60s during my overnight stay, I felt safe enough to relax. Pizza in town was darned quick, too. Nothing great, but quick.

Wonderful, Deseree and her husband are kind, beautiful folks that run this immaculate small town motel!! $90 per night for a safe, secure super comfy bed. This lil secret gem won’t disappoint super clean housekeeping girls are sooo nice and helpful. 24-7 laundry open. Super easy to find off I-80 westbound take exit # 41 take a left at stop sign on ramp you will go to Lyman and this road takes you right to the driveway of Gateway Inn. If you call for reservations I think the office opens aprox 5:00 pm. Tell ‘em Judy from Iowa sent ya. Stayed a week at this super motel.

Was driving across the country from Buffalo NY to Portland Oregon when my cousin and I had a small vehicle issue. We had to wait till the next morning to stop in the Napa Auto Parts. So we had to find a place nearby to spend the night. We checked in rather late and the woman behind the desk was extremely pleasant! We had a room with two queen beds. By no means was this the Four Seasons. But the room was spotless, the shower had great water pressure, and the air conditioner got quite cold. If I ever end up in Lyman again this would be where I would stay! The price was great especially for not booking in advance.

For two nights of sleeping use, this motel is adequate. Room was large and included a 'fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable and the shower water was hot and had good pressure. The only sink was just outside the bathroom door in the "kitchen" area.

The room was very comfortable. The staff was awesome. Just need some WD-40 on the door and to tighten the screw on the shower faucet handle, and tighten some screws on some of the furniture. All in all I would recommend staying here.

Pleasantly surprised!! Out of all the Wyoming roadside hotels I've had to stay in over the years this one is the best!! All smiles from the staff and super clean. Thanks for a great experience guys and keep it up
