I cannot stress enough how much I love this store! Firstly, I got my beta fish and my gerbils from here and the animals were extremely healthy when I got them. I also got all of my supplies from them! (I added some photos below). I have gotten to know a lot of the people who work there, and it is clear to me that they all care so much about the animals they care for. On top of being friendly and caring, the staff also know so much about each type of animal that they sell. The staff also bring some of their own animals into the store to greet customers! Their own pets are very friendly and will make you smile on spot. Especially little Bodhi, who is the absolute sweetest. If you are ever in the store and you see a grey and black poodle-mix, definitely say hi to him! I have never had a bad experience. Some people may say that the store is a little “claustrophobic”, but I see nothing more than a charming mom-and-pop shop dedicated to the health and well-being of their animals. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for their next forever friend. :)

Really nice folks. I normally would not buy an exotic pet at a pet store, but this is a family owned place with people who love animals. My hedgehog is healthy and socialized, a real sweet little hog, and of course I will be back for mealworms often. Also love the shop kitties!Update: my hedgehog is almost three and happy and healthy! Still get great service with her wormies.

I was here wandering while my boyfriend had an appointment. They place was really cozy and had a good variety of pets to choose from. The roaming cat was also so charming. Staff was friendly and fun.

For a small town pet store this little shop has almost everything you can find which in my opinion is better quality and lower prices then other bigger city pet stores. Very helpful and inviting and always able to answer my questions with knowledge of the product in hand or point me in the right direction.

Really sweet people run this store. And they were a big help for me and my dog who had problems with her nails. They are very sweet and very curious and the shop is wonderful. I highly suggest doing your business there. Because they really love animals.

I like this place a lot. I'm an aquarium enthusiast. I've been coming here for about two years or so and they always have what I'm looking for. I bought some guppies from them 2 or more years ago and they have been propagating ever since. I bought 2 shrimp from them and they have been alive for no joke over a year at this point if not more. Not only that but the shrimp keep my tank clean. Most recently I bought 2 aquarium plants from them and they are doing great! Thank goodness for this place. I hate driving to fort collins.

We went in to get some fish for my 5 year old, who was gifted a tank. I didn’t get the name of the person who helped us, (I believe they had purple-ish hair?) but they were so excellent! They helped us pick out the perfect fish for us, they answered all our questions, and were so patient with my son taking a bit of time to choose. They truly went above and beyond to help us!!

They were wonderful with Zeke and Beau. When we first got Zeke it was so cold, during that cold snap in Jan., and they were the only ones that had sweaters for him! And free nail trimmings has been a lifesaver! Zeke turns in to a possessed psyco when my husband and I try to do his nails. And Beau he has several black ones that just make me nervous. And well neither of them will tolerate the dremel that I got. I love you guys so much thank you!!! Oh and I just love their "shop mascots" roaming around. If you don't get greeted at the door by one of their sweet pups your sure to find a cat just laying somewhere waiting for free pets. I LOVE IT!!! (But my cat doesn't lol oh well. ) And yes we will keep coming back for what ever we may need!

Me and my husband say believe this is,the best store in Laramie!! Amazing staff who know their stuff (or will be honest and ask another who does!) and always new stuff! We walk in with our conure and they get as excited to see her as we are to have somewhere she is welcomed! We go to shop and just to go!! Pic our Wiillow!

Spent $100 one month and $100 another month. Yesterday i buy 4 tetras that died before I even got them into my tank at home not even a few blocks away and they don't want to make it right. No exchanges/ refunds nothing. Very disappointed.

I've been to this pet store a couple of times. They have a nice variety of products and little pets. It's a little snug getting around the isle sometimes. I've bought different varieties of fish from them before and I haven't had any issues with them dying right away. My Betta and corydoras are doing pretty well. Just the ghost shrimp go pretty fast, but I can't blame them for that, I try a different species to go in my tank. They have a rewards program which is nice you can check the balance on your receipt. The prices are a little bit higher then average but being the only pet store in town I can understand why. The location is good. The only thing is I came here a couple days ago and I felt like I was being watched the whole time as if I was possibly going to take something, so it was a little awkward for me. Or I didn't know if the employee needed to be standing in the area where I was browsing the whole time I was there, but it did feel a little lurky. That doesn't happen all the time ... But I will be back for more fishies soon!

Most of the time I come here I feel appreciated as a customer and I love the employees. There’s this one lady who works the register that I LOVE, I wish I knew her name, because I’d love to appreciate her by name. But today is the second time that this other worker, a bigger woman, has followed me around the whole store. I felt like a criminal the entire time. It’s very frustrating that I can’t even walk around a store without being watched and followed. I found it extremely rude and an invasion of my personal space. I have never stolen anything from this store, so I don’t understand why I was being followed like a previous offender. And I’ve heard from someone who previously worked here that she does this A LOT. Knock it off. Seriously. I was uncomfortable being to in the store because of this. But when she’s not there, the store is great, the employees are great, it’s got a great selection of pet stuff. It’s this one woman I have an issue with.

I just can’t anymore. For years I’ve tried shopping here but not anymore. The staff is extremely rude. Every time I go into the store, I feel like I am inconveniencing them. The dirty looks, sometimes snarky comments, and the overall lack of customer service is ridiculous. The store is so small & packed with stuff that if there are more than 5 customers you can’t move and shop freely.In the past I’ve tried to ignore it get what I need to get and get out of there But after today, I just will be doing my shopping elsewhere.Not to mention the fact that every time I have purchased a live animal (fish) from this store, they all die. I’ve purchased fish 3 times from this store over the last several years and none have survived.I try and spend local when I can, but I’ll do my shopping out of town or online from here on out. I would recommend the same for others.

I was visiting Laramie and went to the Park for Freedom's Birthday. So glad I found your tent!! Brought the treats home (to northern NYS) to my 3 chihuahuas. They absolutely LOVE them. I want to prefer more and would be happy to pay shipping.

Nice employees and good selection, but the animals die right away and they don't offer any any guarantee or even sympathy. The fish died within 12 and 24 hours of purchase. I've got a really sad kid, and the employee just said, "have a beautiful day!" Buy supplies here but buy animals at Petco where they have a generous 30 day guarantee. Just 24 hours would have been nice.

Every single time I stay in Laramie (or even drive through), the pup and I are sure to stop into this cute little store!! The staff is absolutely amazing and remember us every time. We could not ask for better staff to take care of us and recommend us the best!! I also adore that the staff is able to bring their furry loved ones to work with them. Such well behaved animals that my dog is always thrilled to see!! LOVE YOU WINDY CITY

Love this store so much!!! The staff is super helpful, kind, and patient. They have a great selection of supplies, food, animals, etc.. I have bought two betta fish from them and could not have been happier with my experience.I love the staff’s pets that greet the customers. The doodle is my absolute favorite!!The hippie girl with the pretty curly hair is the sweetest! I believe she owns the doodle (which makes a lot of sense b/c they both rock!!).Definitely visit this shop for your pets’ needs. You won’t be disappointed ;)

I've only gone in once so I can't TRULY attest to the quality. I'd like to give them four stars but until i truly buy an animal I might not. I have them a quick quiz on one of the only animals I truly new much of the care of to see how knowledgeable they are. The answers I received were factual so I do believe they're a good enough pet store for me to buy from by my own standards. As far as pet stores go this place was quite pleasant. Some can be downright depressing. The care wasn't proper for them to be housed in lifelong but for a shop it was alright. I loved the selection of items. I'd love to live here so I could perhaps purchase some isopods as pets but alas I'm in Montana.The staff were friendly in the short time I was there. The place was clean and the animals weren't overly crowded in their enclosures. It's not perfect but there's no reason I can see to not return!

I absolutely love this store! They have been great for my bettas, leopard gecko, and dogs. Any time I have questions about my gecko, the employees can answer them. I also got my gecko here two years ago and although a spoiled little brat, he is healthy and thriving.They also do free nail trims, which were a blessing before I learned how to trim my dogs' nails myself!

I LOVE this place! The employees bring their animals in to roam and get attention! Its a little crowded for the amount of sq ft they have but it's awesome! They sell bamboo stalks for your fish aquarium. They also have a point rewards system based off phone number.

I am not a fish expert, but I have over 30 years of experience caring for many different types of fish and other aquatic animals. Staff, although nice enough, appear to have minimal knowledge regarding their aquatic stock. The fish tanks are overstocked, and an employee shrugged when 3 dead fish were pointed out. They did not ask any questions to determine if my aquarium set up was proper for the fish I was buying, nor provided any handling and care instructions. I purchased some fish and one has struggling for life after a 10 minute gentle car ride home. The fish continued to decline during the long acclimation process and died. The fish appeared to have some damage to one set of gills, perhaps from capture. Called within 2 hours and explained the situation, but they have a no return policy despite the recentness of the purchase. They did not ask any questions that would have potentially led to troubleshooting potential issues in the tanks, handle, and my knowledge regarding acclimation and care. I am setting up a large tank and they have forfeited hundreds of future dollars for few dollar of profit that they would have lost by allowing me to exchange my dead fish and handling providing basic customer service. Despite the drive, I will be taking my future business elsewhere.
