First comment from my husband was to declare their coffee the best of our trip! I had the Cubano and my husband had a Reuben sandwich. We were both very happy with our sandwiches. I selected the fruit option instead of fries (which my husband had and were delicious). The fruit was really yummy! It had oranges and grapefruit, with a poppyseed dressing and pumpkin seeds. Not sure what else they added, but would definitely get it again!

Went for breakfast and it was busy. We waited half an hour at least and other guests who came after us where served. When our waitress brought the ticket there was no apology or offer of a discount. I'm local and I LOVE the place but, how we were treated today was incredibly disappointing. I work customer service and any time I'm faced with a negative situation or I've made a mistake I own it and do my best to make it right. Sadly disappointing and probably will go elsewhere 😕

What a cute little spot! The food, service, and vibe was on point. They even had quite a few gluten free options! (Also, any sandwich or burger can be substituted with their gluten free bread too) I would definitely come again.Dietary restrictions: They had vegetarian and gluten free dishes if needed!

A delightful breakfast stop in Lander Wyoming. When we first arrived, it looked as if it might rain, but we were urged to sit in their lovely outdoor eating area with promises of fitting us inside of it began to pour. It didn’t and we had a lovely spot near a fork in the stream. So many unique choices on the menu. We had a chorizo skillet and beignets. The beignets were lightly scented with nutmeg spice which made a totally different and delicious experience from typical New Orleans style Beignets. The chorizo skillet with fried jalapeños was delicious. The only criticism we could find was the potatoes in the skillet were cut so large that the potato stole a lot of the flavor from the rest of the dish. (Still delicious!) over medium egg cooked perfectly. The next time we are in Lander we will definitely be going again. Our server was polite and attentive, almost seeing what we needed before we did. Delicious breakfast and charming atmosphere.

Love a place that cares about what they are creating. The gluten free blueberry French toast was soooooo spot on. Bacon and poached egg cooked perfectly. The server, Jaimie, was excellent, attentive and warm. A nicely done cafe in a historic building and a welcoming vibe. Would go out of my way to go back in the food-desert of Wyoming. They have something good going here. PS, would love to see local honey used. PPS, the fresh squeezed orange juice is a treat!

Amazing breakfast! We were here visiting from NH and are used to some pretty great diners. This was by far the best breakfast we have had in a long time. We highly recommend the banana bread french toast, the Huevos Ranchero!! Biscuits and Gravy were FANTASTIC! Staff was friendly and the place was very clean.

Very pleasant place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. The food choices are diverse and appealing. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining options, however, the outdoor is very popular during the summer and you need to arrive early to get a spot.I ordered the baked chili huevos, a scrumptious combination of chorizo, potatoes, chili and corn tortillas topped by eggs prepared to your preference.If you are spending a few days in or near Lander, I would put this place on your Must Dine There list.Other than the service being a bit slow due to the overflow of customers wanting to dine there, I have nothing but good things to say about The Middle Fork.

Food was top notch, had a Bahn Mi for breakfast with an egg on top. Great atmosphere outside with a little stream trickling as you ate and NO BUGS! Classy service and a real charming place. Filled us up and for a fair price. You won’t be disappointed!

Wow! What can I say about this place?! I just had an incredible chorizo hash alongside their rooibos tea and finished off with some bites of the caramel pecan cinnamon bun (is this thing legal?!). Just the breakfast I needed after a cold night camping in the park here in Lander. Thankful to Jennifer for her stellar service and for patiently accommodating my many requests as I bring myself back to balance at the Middle Fork before hitting the road again. Until next time!

This review is long overdue! I am truly blown away by the people who work at this restaurant; they went above and beyond for my husband and I. I did a travel nursing assignment in Lander, Wyoming and we visited this restaurant frequently throughout the six-week period. The food was always great! We loved everything we ordered, hence why we kept returning. We were especially fond of their Hungarian mushroom soup, which they made one week. We went back three days in a row to get this soup, but on day three they ran out! In the following days, we probably called about 15 times to ask if they were serving this soup, or if they were going to make it again in the near future. We called so much that everyone knew us by name. The last time we called, we told them that we were leaving soon and they actually offered to make some more just for us! We were so happy! These kind people did not just make us one bowl either, they made us an entire GALLON to take home and they also gave us the recipe with a kind note attached! Thank you so much Friends of the Middle Fork, you guys are truly one of a kind. Our world needs more people like you!

A great place with superb food. Just one word of warning - their corn beef hash is unlike any other, finely minced, grey and salty. It is even worse than the tinned corned beef one gets here in the UK. All other meals were superb.Thanks for the reply. To me a hash has recognizable cubes (say 1/2 inch) of ingredients not finally minced in the way this was.

Once again following the recommendation of our B&B hosts we discovered a gem of a restaurant. We had breakfast for lunch. My Wyoming omelet was a meat lover's delight; my wife's eggs Benedict was also great. The lunch food we saw in passing looked great as well.

Every year when I come into town to visit family I demand that we eat here every morning. It was crazy busy today and the food took a long time but we were expecting that as it’s always crazy busy the morning after the 4th of July. They were down a server today and our waitress looked tired but she handled herself great and was very composed. I am always impressed by the food, the staff and the owner of the place. Great job Middle Fork! I’ll be back as 🔜 as I can 🤗

Excellent food, friendly staff, great wait times, pleasant environment. One of our favorites. When asked where we want to eat in Lander, this is usually the one we pick. The eggs Benedict is amazing. Be sure to get the fry sauce (homemade Mayo and steak sauce) to go with you fries or fried potatoes. Another winner is the strawberry chev salad with the fried goat cheese balls and ask for steak on it. Ask if they have their mint infused lemonade as well.

This is the nicest restaurant we've had breakfast and lunch at in a long time. All seven of us were completely satisfied. From coffee Americano to cheese burger to Cubano, amazing made from scratch food. All the staff are extremely hardworking friendly and top notch! Anyone of them would stand out at any other restaurant, here they are a finely matched team. Thank you all we will be back. I highly recommend this place to all.

They left the avocado off my plate and I didn’t say anything because everyone was beautiful and wearing booty shorts (except the quiet strong type with the purple pants and tattoos.) They seemed hiker friendly but maybe they aren’t and that’s why everyone else got avocado on their plates #shrug. I give this place 5 stars for the vibes.

Such a great spot! The beef stroganoff was super tasty. The beef was so tender I was able to cut it with the side of my fork. It was nice to escape the chaos of Lander Bar.
