I called the hospital over Labor Day weekend. I couldn’t get ahold of my Vet and my mini Aussie was really sick.The Vet on call, Dr. Then, answered all my questions before I brought her in. I honestly thought she would get better and tried what he suggested.He gave me an estimate for an emergency exam and after trying a few things he suggested.I realized that she needed to be seen and fast.She totally crashed within a hour or so and went into a low sugar seizure.She was so dehydrated and had not been able to eat for over 24 hours.I credit Dr. Then’s care plan for saving her life.To look at her now, you would never know that I almost lost her .Thank you Dr. Then and the clinic for providing this valuable service!🐾🐾💕

Dog grooming excellent, have been using for the past 7 years. Sometimes hard to get an appointment but I wouldn't go anywhere else. Also has boarding and excellent vet care.

The doctors and staff of Lander Valley Animal Hospital have been taking care of our dogs for 15 years. They are the most compassionate and competent group of people doing this kind of work I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They have been our touchstone for everything from routine checkups and vaccinations to traumatic events and critical care. And their care does not stop with the animals. They care about us too.

Our dog got a pretty bad infection 4 days into a roadtrip. We found ourselves being told over and over by vets between here and Denver, Co that it would take a week or more to be seen. Lander Valley got us in and got my girl taken care of within hours and we appreciate them so much. The prices were also EXTREMELY fair. Love them and appreciate the help so much

All of the staff here are absolutely amazing. I had to bring my dog in on an emergency visit and they squeezed me in the same day, no questions asked, told me to bring her in at the designated time. Both the staff at the front end, to the doctors and techs in the back, they're all amazing. I wouldn't trust bringing my little girl to anyone else after experiencing just how kind and professional everyone is here! Thank you all so much!!

We recently had to make the horrible decision of putting our fur baby down and after not hearing from our regular vet in Riverton in a decent amount of time I decided to give LVAH a call. Through my sobbing on the phone they offered to get me in that same day. I believe it was Hannah who I spoke with on the phone and she was so sweet. Dr Blake was super compassionate and explained everything that he would go through. The whole experience, considering the circumstances, was just amazing. Thank you so much for making my pup comfortable for his end of life journey!

My dogs see Morgan Kennedy and I've always been very impressed every time they have an appointment. The staff is all very nice and friendly. Morgan and the vet techs always have time to talk with me about my concerns and is very helpful. The care has been fantastic and the pricing has always been reasonable. She gives me options and is great about prioritizing what needs done right away and what I can wait and save up money for. I never feel pressured into anything. Going to Lander Valley Animal Hospital is worth driving from Riverton for the great care.

We do not live in Lander or even Wyoming for that matter. We spend several months during the summer in Dubois. Whenever we need a vet we will drive the hour to Lander for competent vets and staff. We have been several times. Great service. Office staff are helpful with appts and welcoming when you arrive. The techs are knowledgeable and our dogs feel comfortable with them.The veterinarians are the best. We have seen Dr Toye for a follow up visit and urgent visit. Knowledgeable and didn’t try and push unnecessary treatment on our dog.Dr Kennedy spayed our dog last year. Great job, no problems and she healed well.I also found it very nice that they called to check up on our pets after appointments.We definitely recommend this office and this staff.

I've been taking my dogs here since 2016. Always good experiences with Dr. Dawson and Dr. Blake. Everything from routine procedures like blood draws and neutering to emergency visits on weekends when my dog had a dangerous fever and an internal abscess that needed to be treated. They're great at caring for the dogs, explaining their conditions, and explaining the options available.

Dr Toye & the LVA hospital staff were simply the best in a time of need ! Unfortunately, our first meeting with Lander Valley Animal Hospital was because of an emergency. Missy was a bad dog and ate a peice of a rubber toy that landed in her small intestine and wasn't coming out=surgery :(Thankfully, they took excellent care of us !We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the quality care they provided for our dog Missy !We appreciated the qknowledge, skills and kindness of everyone we had interaction with.I felt comfortable leaving Missy with you as I trusted she was in good hands.She is healing well and getting back to herself more and more each .Each service was offered, explained and quoted before proceeding, including all options with the outcomes of each explained.They called us almost exactly when they told us they would when Missy was in their care.The Dr called us the very next morning after her first night back home.

They were very courteous and prompt, we didn't have to wait very long. The first thing that the vet said was that they like to make the visit a pleasant one for the pet, so that they associate coming there as a good experience not a bad one. That really impressed me, and they were eager to hear about the pets home life. They made it easy to get checked in and out. Great place.

The ONLY vet who actually answered an emergency call for my mastiff mix. Price was EXCEPTIONALLY reasonable and they worked it around my budget and didn't overcharge. Upfront with their prices and services too so you know you're getting a great service at an unbeatable value. I overpaid my bill as a donation for the PROMPT return phone call and services. I love you all thank you so much! My big buddy is happy too!

This is THE BEST Veterinarian Clinic I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My Veterinarian, Morgan Toye, recently moved to this clinic. Upon walking in I was greeted with a spacious and warm waiting room. I couldn't believe how calm and relaxed the atmosphere was. Private and quiet exam rooms. My cat actually was relaxed during her visit.....A FIRST in her 17 years. Doctor Morgan Toye, is an Amazing Veterinarian and I HIGHLY recommend her to my family, friends and any one who will listen.

I've been bringing my pets here for over a decade now and have never once had cause for complaint. Anyone that has performed an exam on one of my pets has been so genital and kind to them. There have been a couple of times we've had to call after hours and the on-call vet was always responsive and caring. Every time I bring one of my furbabies in I know I am placing them in good hands. It is apparent to me that they care about my pets well being as much as I do.

My pup was bitten by a rattlesnake I called and they immediately provided help and made time for me to come in. Very fun people to taking to and care about my pets the same way I do. I prefer them over the vet I have seen for years. Calls to follow up and says what to do if an issue comes up! I'm glad my pets are in good hands!

All 5 we took a 50/50 gamble on our dog unsure if she was going to make it the staff and docs are amazing dr Toye was great helping us make the decision and took the time to find out what is wrong with my dog no vet has spent that much time diagnosing any dog I have ever owned. Dr Dawson did an amazing job doing the procedure and explaining the discharge and the best thing of all I had several phone calls during the process of procedure updating us on our pets surgery I definitely will be bringing all my animals to this clinic thank you so much!!!!!

I had a emergency , serious problem with my dog not feeling good since Saturday, he had not eaten in 5 days and was drooling a thick drool from pain. so I ran him down first thing Monday morning and waited an hour to find they refused to even check on him!I will never go here again or recommend this place to others.I went to the stock doc in Riverton, who saw me immediately with friendly staff.

This is not my regular vet, but I wish it was. I was stuck in Lander after a friend who’d had several horses of mine for the summer accidentally lost all of my health paperwork. I didn’t have time to pull blood and wait for new coggins. Julie and Lisa went above and beyond for me, from squeezing me in, rescheduling when I had unexpected hiccups, and helping me acquire my old coggins from the state lab. They really saved my butt. I can’t thank them or the docs enough. I would highly recommend this vet office. They are amazing.

My experience with Dr. Kennedy was that she cared, she went above and beyond to get me all of the options, opinions from other Doctors out of town. She made herself available to get ahold of, and overall made us feel like we weren't alone during a difficult time.
