These folks are AMAZING! I fostered the sweetest boy and within 2 weeks I think, he found his forever home. He's so happy. These folks take the time and the effort is endless! God bless them all 😁🙏🐾❤️

I recently spent 3 weeks going down there getting attached to a dog, walking her, loving her and getting excited to take her home. They had told us that we would get her and we’d been accepted and they’d always “call back soon”. I go down there like I always do on my days off or before work to find out that they adopted her out from underneath me. I was so upset but still willing to go through them. Despite what I’d been told, especially because they’re under new management. I met one dog and she was good aggressive, they said they throw her treats at her because she’ll eat your hand 🙄 I simply gave them advice on how to fix that as I have dealt with food aggressive dogs in the past. Then I fell in love with a male pitbull they have, which I was made to believe at first was evil and just mean. He up for adoption on their website and Facebook, but they didn’t tell me he wasn’t. They told me he wasn’t good with male dogs and they were sending him to a camp after making me believe he was adoptable. He didn’t have a male dog problem, he has a male problem and it’s a shame these people can’t see that. And it’s a shame when I visited him, he was covered in his own poop and lying in it. I offered to come down there and prove to this company for free that hes a good dog and doesn’t need to be sent away. She declined and told me there’s other ones you can come look at. Dogs are some peoples children and you can’t allow people to become attached to animals and then give them away.

I had a terrible experience with this "rescue" or at least with whoever answered the phone, the fact that this is a rescue but don't have anyone there except for when there is appointments so meaning they just lock the animals up in cages and leave them there all day or days who knows, this past week I called to ask about abandoned new born kittens, she told me because it was on reservation land they "are not their responsibility " and " thats out if jurisdiction" (I had already brought them to their facility) then she proceeded to tell me that because she couldn't do anything it "just sounds like they're not gonna make it" after I even explained to her that these kittens had the full potential to be fine they just needed to be fed or a momma cat, she was not helpful at all and was more bothered by my call, this person who answered the phone made this "rescue" look like they weren't genuine, like this is ur job, but u were so easy to just give up and turn me away. I do not recommend taking animals here, not genuine what so ever, and very inhumane.

I can't say enough great, good things about this rescue and about Jeannie and her staff. This group works tirelessly to save the area's dogs and cats and always have the animals' best interests as their focus. I'm now the proud mom of 2 LPC dogs and am so grateful to Jeannie for saving them.

these guys go well above and beyond to take care of rescue animals they are smart, dedicated and have hearts of pure gold they have a no-kill policy, and they somehow manage to live up to it, and still take in a nd find homes for a lot of animals I respect and admire the work they do for this community, because it can be a thankless task at times - but it brings its own reward kudos to the staff and the volunteers and those who donate to their cause

I have one LPC dog that is the light of my life from 2017. I tried to get another puppy recently. They told me I was accepted and good to go. Then they sold the dog out from under me. You’d think you’d have some patience and respect for a former LPC rescuer. I guess not 🤷🏽‍♀️. They have since not answered any of my phone calls.
