This recently remodeled vintage motel has character that you won't find at any chain hotel. No pool, no spa, it's not a luxury accommodation, but it is a good place to stay. It has clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. In room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and TV with Roku, although the bandwidth can get strained if everyone is using it at the same time. You can park right in front of your room, no stairs or elevators because it's one floor. There are some picnic tables if you want to sit outside. There is a fossil shop next door and a convenience store two doors down. I didn't hear my neighbors at all and slept very well. Everything in the room seemed to function just fine. Staff was friendly and polite.

Honestly im surprised, that might seam like a back handed compliment but its true. At first i was dreading staying in another shady motel with only the bare bones and cockroaches like i have in the past but i was not expecting to find this. The roomwas already warm when i got inside, there was art on the wall's, a mini fridge and microwave ( hey ive stayed in a-lot of hotels that don't have either) and a smart tv with hulu provided. From other reviews i found out this place has been renovated, i did stay here back in 2018 and i have to say the renovations made a hell of a difference. For the price it is amazing and i will definitely be back.

Last winter we were moving from Idaho to Colorado, had poor timing and got caught in a huge snow storm. I-80 closed for 24 hours. We had a moving truck and 2 dogs. I called many hotels in the area and they either wouldn’t or couldn’t accommodate us.These people were wonderful! We were so grateful for the room. The service was outstanding! The next day we weren’t sure the interstate would open for us to continue so I booked the room for another night just be sure. Great rates, btw. The owners were working the front desk and offered to refund us if I-80 opened. It did and they held up their offer. The room wasn’t a 5 star room in most opinions, a little chilly as the temps were in the negatives outside, but when you’re stranded it’s absolutely wonderful. We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend staying here to anyone.

Clean and newly renovated pet -friendly room was needed and gratefully available! They offered comfy pillows, nice linens, tv, coffeemaker, and wifi. Very happy with my recent stay, would stay there again! Pleasant, courteous staff recommended a great restaurant that had late hours. I was hesitant about the stay due to the look of the hotel, upon a better look in the morning it looks like they are in the process of remodeling. The room was very clean and we all slept well. Glad we decided to stop and stay the night. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. If we pass through again we will definitely stay again.

Room was very clean. Other occupants were very noisy though, a lot of door slamming going on. Bath tub didn't plug so you might check that upon entering your room if you want a bath. Check in and out service employees are very nice and very helpful, I didn't have an ice scraper for my windshield but I was helped and taken good care of. Thank you!

This motel is not like many others that I've been to. Although they are in the process of remodeling, that didn't bother me in the least. Not only are the rooms quiet (I hear EVERYTHING when I'm in a hotel/motel room), they are comfy and have great internet, an amazing selection on cable TV. In the winter time, it may take a few minutes to get hot water in the shower (what do you expect when temperatures are sub zero outside!), Yet once it comes, the water is as hot as you can handle, and doesn't seem to go away quickly. The manager is a humble, hard working, down to earth gal who was an absolute pleasure to work with! My only misgiving that I had during my two week stay was that my neighbors, for a night, decided to party all night and leave their door open. I was working 12 hour days and let the manager know, who in turn handled it very diplomatically in my estimation. I liked this place so much, I've already made a reservation to go back. Absolutely the best hotel/motel experience I've had in all my years traveling for work! Did I mention that there is a very affordable laundry mat right next door where one can wash/dry their clothes OR drop them off, for a small fee, to be laundered. It's attached to a car wash that will leave your car feeling just as spicy and span as your clothes. This motel is conveniently located near a few gas stations and just a few minutes walk from great eating, as well as bowling lanes and a few bars. Awesome stay, can't wait to do it again!

Dont let the cheap price deceive you. The antler motel is definitely the best and cleanest motel in kemmerer Wyoming. I've stayed in other motels and antler takes the cake hands down! The staff does an excellent job taking care of you. When I arrived I was unsure about the motel because my window lock was broken, but the staff repaired it asap. I left the motel for a few hours to go sight seeing, and i returned to a room that was not only clean but spotless. This shows that the staff cares deeply about the well-being of their guest. The only downside is not being able to give this motel 6 stars instead of 5...

Older but clean facility that seems to have some recent updates. Bed and pillows comfy, room was nice and clean, staff friendly. Good option if you don't want to fork out tons of money for the other hotel in the area.

An older place in kemmer, your room is a crap shoot. Stayed here twice, first time hot water took 30 min, in the dead of winter. Second stay i got a smoking room and it stunk, never again. Staff is friendly and they allow pets. a good cheap place to stay if you are here for work. Very good staff!

We've actually stayed here twice, once in 2014 en route to Sturgis, and again last night, the latter being somewhat 'under duress' due to car trouble. Upon informing the desk clerk on the phone that we would be a very late arrival, they assured us that someone would be on-premises to check us in, and sure enough, they were. The rate was very reasonable and the room we stayed in (#1) looked to have been remodeled from when we stayed here last.When I made the reservation, I volunteered to give a credit card number, but seeing as though it's off-season, availability (or lack thereof) wasn't an issue, so they let us book without one. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well.The only suggestion I would make: supply extra pillows either in the room or available on request as many people sleep with a pillow between their knees as well as under their head. Not sure if the need to stay overnight in Kemmerer will arise in the foreseeable future, but if/when it does, we'll probably stay at the Antler both for convenience and price.

I wouldn’t go here ever again. Five of us checked in, last place that had rooms, and was booked for us by work, so we had no choice.Started out with having to track down a person to check us in, and then wake them up. I understand taking pain meds to deal with broken bodies, but don’t break out the cot for a nap!!All of our rooms had issues. They all had used soap bars, one had what we hope was chocolate on the sheets, other beds were covered in hair, huge gaps between floors and door to hall, deadbolts broken off, a window that wouldn’t close, the feeling of being watched, they decided to kill the power to the building across the street (newer building for them), sagging walls and ceilings, bare wires, one didn’t have heat in his room.Would not recommend staying here.

Nice clean and quiet hotel with alot of rooms- I believe this place is also under new ownership. I stayed in the facility across the street- which is the same hotel-Room was very nice, bed was comfortable and there was a nice chair and desk to do some work from. The internet also seemed to work very well for what I needed it to do. There was a hot shower and plenty of places to walk around if you are an outdoors hiker. Looking at all the older reviews I was glad I gave this place a chance and look forward to coming back in the future.

Chris was great at the front desk. They were all booked up for the 4th weekend. He said he had a room with a TV they were waiting for direct TV to come fix. I told him I didn't need a tv... Gave me the room and the best thing is that they're pet friendly....Thanks Chris!!
