Take out only pizza. 1-man operation so I would call and pick up the pizza. Almost went with Pizza Hut, so glad I didn't. You can get Pizza Hut almost anywhere. You just can't beat homemade pizza!

Delicious pizza! We had the Alaska Yukon, it was thickly cover with it’s delicious ingredients as was the unique Scroungy Cousteau which is for the more adventurous palate with its shrimp and smoked oysters, superb! The chef was a joy to talk to just making the experience even better. Monja!

The pizza was good, but I called at 5 pm on a weekday and the only sizes left were 14 and 16 inches. It's a one-man, small operation and was slammed when I ordered. It took 45 minutes to be ready for takeout and was cash only. Pizza was good, with small slices. Only negative for me was the cheese stick (Rio) pizza had clumps of garlic on it. Pizza was still tasty- would eat again

A little hidden gem. Great pizza! Wonderful owner! He had a great collection of photography from all the wonderful places he has hiked. Owner was working by himself, so you may have to wait, but it is worth it, way better than any old pizza hut pizza. So glad we gave it a shot and tried even though we almost missed it behind the trees. Thanks scroungy moose!

Stopped here when we were passing through town. It's a cute privately-owned take out pizza parlor. Has a homey feel with DELICIOUS pizza and a very kind and helpful owner! Very excellent, would definitely recommend to any and everyone in and/or passing through town!

It's been a few years since I have eaten here, but I still crave their pizza. So I had to write a review. The crust is like no other I have had. It is light and crispy, toppings are delicious and sauces are excellent. If you are in or near Kemmerer, this is a must, you will not regret it! I may have to drive up there this summer just to get a pizza.

Tracy, the owner was HORRENDOUS, just so RUDE beyond any phone order I think I have ever had! I rarely ever write negative reviews but this experience was just so awful, I feel I have to warn others! I was so sweet to him and he yelled at me 3 times, telling me he was BUSY and he cut me off 3 times so abruptly when all I wanted to do was order his pizza! He snarled at me asking me what I wanted and I told him & then he proceeded to tell me that he didn't have HALF of the ingredients that I was requesting (tomatoes, onions, etc. basic things that he should have had on hand.) I wish that I had told him to just "FORGET IT!" I think that I was in such SHOCK that anyone would treat a person with such disrespect that I wasn't processing how I should have responded! He charged the regular price with so few ingredients and then the CRUST WAS BURNED ON THE EDGES! UNFATHOMABLE! I could make better Pizza and I will next time I want it! I will NEVER, EVER patronize this restaurant EVER AGAIN! I think he must "hate Women" or something! If he was THAT BUSY he shouldn't have even answered the phone, not to mention being out of the basic things you'd ask to be put on MOST PIZZAS! Tracy, your Customer Service Skills are NON-EXISTENT and you shouldn't even be working with the public!

An excellent oasis in the highland desert of WY. It were a bit skeptical at the building, but what a pleasant surprise. They were very polite, and the pizze was amazing. The prices were great too. I have no clue why there is a Pizza Hut in the area - Scroungy Moose is all that place needs.

This pizza is one of the best around. If you like white sauce, chicken and garlic, this is hands down the best pizza you will have. Also has green onions and mushrooms on it. The pepperoni with the blend cheese, is another family favorite. Love this place.

Great pizza...and even better customer service. I was in Kemmerer for work over a very wintery week. Me and some coworkers stopped in to eat. We didn't realize it was for take out or delivery only. The owner gave us some recommendations for other eat in restaurants in town. But, as we were leaving, the owner said that if we changed our minds, he'd brave the blizzard to bring pizza to our hotel on the other side of town. As was our luck, because of the storm, some of the restaurants were closed. Now back on the other side of town, we decided to give SM a call. They were delighted to take our delivery order, and promptly brought over 2 of the best pizzas! I'll be ordering from them again!!

One of the magical wonders of the world is a truly delicious pizza; and believe it or not - that magic exists in Kemmerer, Wyoming! Scroungy Moose Pizza was a random choice after a long day of driving and a desire for anything fast and easy that wasn't pizza the hutt. This one-man operation, out of a beautiful old home hidden by trees, on the far side of Kemmerer is a diamond in the ruff! Loaded with high quality toppings, the Alaska Yukon had a spectacularly crisp crust and was ready in a flash! Cash or check and carry-out only, this place is worth a stop on your travels and a trip to the ATM!
