This was a small town restaurant that had a big town restaurant quality. The food was great, the service was excellent and the prices fair and reasonable. They had a big selection from steaks, to burgers to spaghetti. Every dish that came out locked and smelled delicious. I had a Tomahawk Steak, which was cooked perfectly and I didn't break the bank paying for it. Then, the desserts, wow, very scrumptious. It is a family restaurant, opening at 11 and serves lunch and dinner. It also has a small bar, which is where I sat, which explains why I saw all the dishes come out. I highly recommend the Kettle Restaurant to anyone wanting a good and delicious home cooked meal.Parking: Big lot, right in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: There were several families there with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: NA

Great service and good food. I have been enjoying this place while I'm in Kemmerer. I recommend it to my colleagues and friends.The food is good. It could be a little more flavor forward with just a bit more spice.The garlic cheese bread is fantastic :)

The food here was really lackluster. Don’t bother ordering the steak. Incredibly over priced and one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. It had the texture of something long frozen and an odd flavor. The mashed potatoes were bland even after putting a lot of extra salt and pepper. The gravy was probably meant to provide all the flavor, but I asked for my gravy on the side. The vegetables were not fresh. Not good at all. My mom said the patty melt was good, so maybe try that.

I don't usually leave bad reviews. But I had to hear. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. On the menu, it was described as excellent as one could think. It came out and looked amazing, but in the first bite, it tasted like used fryer oil. All I could taste was old French fries fish ect. The mashed potatoes and gravy had no flavor. the only thing I could eat was the green beans and dinner roll. Next time, I'll go have a hot dog from Maverick.

I gave this place a few chances. Since I worked at the mine and it was often the only place open on Sunday. Worst steak I’ve had. Bland and unseasoned. Went in for a burger once. Took them an hour to completely overcook the burger and fries. Went in another time and ordered carbonara. Twice the sauce as there was noodles. I just can’t even put words to what I thought about that. There’s a reason locals don’t eat here. Be my guest to ask around. Supposedly the cook is a chef and went to school for it. If this is true. They must have definitely been bottom of the class.

Honest opinion of this place coming up. # 1 So I walked in to pick up my Togo order and there’s an employee at the counter talking to a man. Her phone was on the counter flipped upside down with a picture of a rebel flag on it. Made me a little uncomfortable being that I am black and they’re prepping my food. She slid the phone off the counter when she noticed me though. #2 Ordered the chicken fried steak and it wasn’t very good. Unseasoned and the mashed potatoes were bland. The side salad was good though. Not too many places to eat in this town so I was excited to try and make this my go to dinner spot, but between the rebel flag and unseasoned food I did not return.

I stayed there for almost 60 days. When I asked to be refunded for the Taxes the charges (no tax after 30 days per Wyoming tax&irs) they swore at me while refusing to reimburse. They are also right next to the golf course and my camper was struck twice. They refuse to put up a net. Stay there at your own risk!! I won’t be staying there again

We visited The Kettle for a group dinner. I got a chicken fried steak with French fries and my wife got the kettle sub (hot). I was pretty bummed that my portion of fries was half of my wife’s, and the salad was pretty small. Overall, I think I would have been happier getting the sandwich instead of the steak because I think it was more food, and like $7 less!The food had good flavor and service was decent considering it was a party of about 15.

It must be hit or miss. When I went it was definitely miss. Lukewarm boring grilled chicken sandwich with stale potato chips, all for over $12.00 with tip. Friend had chicken fingers and they were raw, not pinkish but raw. We had to ask for condiments and even napkins and utensils. No thanks.

worst place i have ever been to.. i got food poisoning and the place smells like cigarettes. Food tastes like it was reheated. The service was terrible. Server angela forgot my drink 3 times. Couldn't get clean utensils.. will never return. Was very uncomfortable due to people screaming in the back..

The restaurant was very clean, A little over priced but I get why, but you can compensate with larger portions. The service was good but our meal was mediocre. However we'll go again and try something else on the menu, maybe a 4 next time

Enjoyed a nice birthday dinner there the other night. Steak was done to perfection. Late in evening so they were out of a lot of choices but in these times who can tell what business is going to be like.

It was terrible. Service was very slow and inattentive. When I finally got my order of speghetti and meat balls, it tasted like ramen noodles with a half can of tomatoes spilled on top.meatballs totally devoid of flavor. I paid for my meal and left after sampling one and leaving five . Can't recommend, and won't go back.

I HAAATE sending food back to the kitchen. Do it right the first time. Ribeye was undercooked from what I had ordered. I overheard the cook change my order from what was relayed from the waitress. It was weird. Ribeye, not surprisingly, came out undercooked from what I had ordered. Waitress tried to “make it right“ by offering more of my side. So, I don’t know. Mixed bag of positives and negatives with my first visit here. Options are extremely limited in Kemmerer on Tuesday nights, so it is what it is, I guess.

Great food, very clean place, and the waitress was hustling, but the evening shift cook doesn’t know how to do more than one table at a time, and she does the easiest orders first regardless of the order taken. It took over 45 mins to get two hamburgers.

If you like inner city school lunch, or maybe you want to reminisce about that prison stint you did, this place is for you! All food is sisco/frozen. Cheapest food for the most one could possibly charge. This is by far the worst food I've ever had the displeasure of eating. Expensive and gross.
