Lots of really beautiful art. Half of the exhibits were closed, but we got a discounted rate. The outdoor sculptures are really cool too. There were lots of accessibility features like tactile displays, audio descriptions, gender neutral bathroom, and stuff for kids. I would definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely recommend checking out this spot when you’re visiting Grand Teton National Park near Jackson. There’s a ton of cool art and animal sculptures to check out, and the best part is, it’s free. Plus, they’ve got clean restrooms. And don’t even get me started on the views outside! They’re incredible. definitely swing by if you’re in the area. It’s a great stop to stretch your legs, take in some art, and enjoy the scenery.

This museum was first established nearby in the town of Jackson 1987.... I haven't been inside but as far as I know they have their own library and archive…. But the outside statues are really life size...and nearby is a national elk refuge...:-)

This place is so unexpectedly cool! Located just outside of Jackson town, it blends in perfectly with the natural beauty of the hills. It is a must see!The amount of artwork outside is amazing. The fabulous sculptures, exhibits as a blend of nature with modern art, create a truly captivating experience. Even though the museum was closed when we visited, the statues alone were beautiful enough to admire. Also, the view from the museum is simply breathtaking. If you're looking for a free way to enjoy the place, you can still stop for 15-30 minutes and walk around to see all the animal sculptures outside the museum. It's a great way to stretch your legs and appreciate the artistry. There's also a telescope available for visitors to use, so you can observe anything that catches your eye.We definitely plan to come back when they are open. This place is full of excellent photo opportunities and we can't wait to explore more of what the museum has to offer. If you're in the area, be sure to visit this hidden gem and immerse yourself in its captivating art and natural surroundings.

This was an amazing unplanned stop on our Teton Adventure Trip. The museum is beautifully curated. You can find amazing local artisan gifts and the food at The Palate was exceptional and the price was more reasonable than other places in the area. The service throughout our experience was exceptional!! Stop by!

A great stop while on Jackson! $2 coupons are found in fliers at other vendors. The art is very nice but a few galleries were closed on our visit.

This is an absolute gem of a museum!! 💎Located just NE of Jackson, on hwy 191, and 26/89, we were first drawn in by the fabulous, life-size, animal sculptures of moose, elk, big horn sheep, etc, which are visible from the highway. Surrounding an edifice built of stone, they provide great photo ops. But that's just the beginning!Completely ADA accessible, the museum offers free or discounted entry to Veterans and students. In addition to a gift shop and a delightful restaurant with amazing views of Antelope Valley, there are changing displays which include art projects from local schools, and a room which shows the progression of wildlife art over several centuries. Some of our favorites included several paintings by Tucker Smith, and Carl Rungius. And don't miss the room set up as a wildlife artist studio! It's full of eclectic and fascinating details and information!!

My mom and I are on vacation and only going to be in Jackson for 2 days we'd plan to visit this particular location on the afternoon of the 14th September. If you're going to be close for a private event you should probably post it on your Google page that your hours have changed because we could have used this time to take a tram on the gondolas to view scenery now we no longer have time. We'll walk around outside.Poor business practice for the nation's only Wildlife dedicated Museum. 😔

We stopped by the museum without planning. We didn't have time for the exhibition this time. But the cafe is fantastic! This is not your regular museum cafe, more like gourmet cafe with a reasonable price. The wide open view outside is amazing as well for a sit-down lunch. I think they open only for lunch though.

We did not pay to enter, so I'm only reviewing the Sculpture Trail. It was underwhelming and not because the sculptures were low quality but because the layout and directions were poor. For example, the Spirit Totems were named differently on the cue card than the placards themselves and this portion wasn't even on the app. Said app was also unclear, scanning the QR Code took you to a website and the instructions did not match the sign with the QR Code. I might go back with my wife but it did not feel conducive to young kids.

I really wish I could rate this place higher and I absolutely would if the staff had at the very least been polite. We came on a busy rainy day, which must be harder on staff than normal, but the ticket man literally yelled at myself and my baby.

First: a brief confession: I never actually went in. We had so much fun outside that we ran out of time to actually see the museum. The sculptures outside were beautiful! If you've got a spare minute, it's completely worth a stop! The view from the top is breathtaking.

Such a cool place! A must if you are staying in the Jackson area for a few days. An art gallery with hundreds of paintings, could easily spend 1-2 hours here. Divided into many different rooms with different art themes / styles. All of the paintings focus on wildlife art. We especially enjoyed the modern art room. Really cool stuff and affordably priced, definitely worth it.

We've been going to Jackson a few times a year for decades and somehow missed this excellent museum. Now it's a must every time we are in the area. Great for all ages. Kids were engaged in a few areas. The mural in the classroom needs to be examined of you have kids. They love it. Highly recommend.

This museum was beautiful. We loved all of the sculptures outside on the side of the mountain. It was a great detour on the way to the Teton national park. The museum is very clean inside and out, and the love music outside was a treat.
