I was surprised at how nice this place was.Comfortable beds, super clean room, good coffee and breakfast, water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Very modern and well maintained. 👌Nearby activities: Bowling and a couple bars are about itSafety: Safe small town. Alot of military in town.Walkability: Close to the bowling alley and stores

Staying here while working night shift at the power plant. They have no consideration for their guest. I've been woken up multiple times throughout the day over the course of a week. The staff knows I am on night shift so calling at 1pm is equivalent to a 1am phone call for myself and the coworkers I room with. Room was not cleaned properly upon check in. Washer has been broken since we arrived. And they have the audacity to charge $900 a week. Zero stars. Would not recommend.

Staff was rude from the moment we checked in. They acted as if it inconvenienced their day. They told us we could check in at 3. We get there at 3 and are told the rooms aren’t ready yet. So we waited another 45 minutes. The gal who serves breakfast and the gentleman at night are nice folks. Everyone else was completely rude. Half the time the hallways smelled like a sewer system and the cleaning staff doesn’t clean your whole room unless you “request more in depth cleaning” Uhhh? That’s been an automatic at every hotel I’ve ever been at.

I honestly can't say enough great things about this place and our experience! My husband and I had to stop last minute to get a room and I am so thankful we chose this one. Unfortunately the internet was down and she was unable to give me a price or even know what size beds were in the room, or take my credit card information to get a room. Thankfully she spoke to her boss and said to just let us stay anyways and get payment info the next morning before we left! Not many places would have ever trusted a complete stranger rent a room with no Payment prior. We were so grateful to have a nice, clean, and safe place to sleep for the night. And yes we paid the next morning before leaving! Definitely would stay again if in the area!!! 5 stars just doesn't do it justice!! Thank you so much!! 100 stars plus from us!!!

The rooms were awesome. I usually hate hotel beds cuz they are hard but this bed was divine. Very spacious rooms. Nice n quiet. My only negative thought was the young man who checked me in was not great. Made me wait 10 minutes then just acted like he had better things to do. Told me I was on 2nd floor n thats it. I wandered around a bit n finally had to go find him and ask him where stairs or elevator was. But the rest of my stay was great.Rooms: Very spacious and for once a comfy bed!!!!

The rooms appear to be clean, however, the room we stayed in, 110, smelled to high heaven of body odor. It was absolutely disgusting. Breakfast the next morning was disorganized and most of the eggs were cold. Even when we went to the staff and ask them to refill the coffee they did not do so.Rooms: Room 110 had an extremely strong smell of body odor

We were traveling & stopped here to meet up with friends from Denver. Hotel was perfect for that. It has a nice patio with umbrella tables & chairs where we spent most of our time. The hotel looked & smelled clean. The room was spacious enough for us & our 2 dogs. Beds were comfy & they supply lots of pillows which makes me happy. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast lady was working her tail off to keep it stocked & clean. I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you are just passing thru & want a clean place to sleep.

This hotel was centrally located for the pipelines various substation work I was there for. Hindsight being 20/20 I would've elected to stay in another town as Guernsey, WY dosen't offer too many amenities (namely restaurants). Here's the good: quick and friendly check in.Here's the bad: no elevator so you'll need to carry you're luggage upstairs if you don't get the first floor. Usually if I have taken my dinner back to the room, I'll leave trash in a bag outside my room when I leave for work in the morning...it stayed there for three days. And here's the ugly: I found an open beer can in my shower sitting on the upper shelf where the tile meets the wall...strike one for cleanliness. Strike two was finding what looked like a blood stain on the other queen bed when I initially checked for bedbugs (always check for bedbugs!) so that was not only disgusting but also disturbing...at this point I would typically check out immediately but unfortunately there simply was no other accommodation options. I thoroughly checked the other queen bed and it checked out okay.I'm a spire member of Holiday Inn and have been for 20 years as I travel extensively for work so I've seen more than a fair share of hotels across our great country. If you must stay here I would inspect everything...twice, but would recommend driving another 50 miles every day to avoid this particular hotel.

Franchise operators are probably struggling to find reliable help, but this is ridiculous. Giant bag of stinky trash on N end, nobody restocked breakfast stuff, ran out of coffee and frankly, the hired help was a tad surly. Hospitality might not be for her.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable

It was clean and the staff was helpful. On the negative side; we literally got the worst room location in the hotel. It was 1st floor, next to the stairs, parking lot and main road. Avoid room #126 if possible. The hotel is over priced in my opinion also. There are some better options in Guernsey. So, overall it's acceptable (particularly if you get a room other than 126) but I would choose the other options in town next time.

I stayed there a week for work. The staff is super friendly. Especially the evening lady Wendy. She was always happy and a joy to talk to. The place was quit and clean. It could've easily been 5 stars but the last 3 or 4 days house keeping was terrible. One time the room didn't get clean at all and the other 3 days our bathroom was only half cleaned.

Comfortable and quiet, was able to pick where we wanted to be… plenty of options for breakfast.. pretty river to look at.. felt safe... very courteous staff and friendly! Best thing of all, we were headed home to Arkansas and left our daughters crocs in the room.. already way too far to go back we called and they gladly said they would mail them! I forgot all about it until I got a voicemail from Heather Chavez apologizing for the delay-she was on vacay and then quarantined.. however she still was so friendly and kind and sent my little girls shoes all the way to Arkansad, and a scrunchie we had left behind too! We have never had such kind staff and willing to help and communicate. I was shocked and so thankful! If we are ever back that way we would definitely stay again!

They’ll double charge you and refuse to refund. Do not recommend! They’ve also had an extended power outage (granted that affected all of town) but refused to provide any concessions/refunds for an essentially unusable room.Manager was of little help saying that she’d already paid commissions for the reservation to our company’s travel provider. I will recommend our company cease doing business with the Cobblestone Guernsey. I have a feeling that will cost them far more than their precious commissions!

This was an awesome stay from the time we got there until we left. The whole place was kept very clean and very peaceful. The atmosphere was very tranquil and calm. The room was very clean, stocked and comfortable. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and professional. I will make sure to stay here next time I am in town. This is definitely a place to stay while in town or close by.

This is a nice hotel. It's new. The employees are super nice and helpful. It sets on the banks of the North Platte River so it has a beautiful view. They have a nice lounge to set down and eat breakfast in. I love that they have hot coffee in the lobby 24/7. The only thing that could of been better was if they had an elevator. It's a 2 story hotel and our rooms were on the 2nd floor.

Amazing staff! Good breakfast and very clean. I would stay here even if it was a bit out of the way. The river is close with picnic tables placed to view it. The GM was called for a minor issue during the night and personally came to tend to it. Make your way here and experience quality.

Very accommodating, clean, wonderful place! Breakfast is minimal, but good, managers very attentive. The most wonderful place, worth a bit driving to from the I-25, especially being stuck there for the road closing.

Needed a place for one night half way between Mount Rushmore and Denver. This location was perfect. Clean and comfortable room with great shower. No elevator so be prepared to carry your stuff one flight if you get second floor room. I would stay there again.

Stopped in for an overnight stay on our way to Mount Rushmore. The facility was nice and clean however it was difficult for us to get through the front doors. I had my mom in a wheelchair and all our luggage on a kart. It was not easy. The front desk clerk did, accommodate my request for a first floor room. We got a double queen room and on one of the beds there were large pink stains on the sheets and all over the pillow case.

I have to spend a few days a month at the Cobblestone due to work so I'm pretty familiar with the facility. The rooms are large, clean, and relatively well equipped. The breakfast each morning leaves a lot to be desired, but that can be expected for a budget hotel. Still, it's far and away the best place to stay in Guernsey.

Very disappointed. We really enjoyed this hotel last year. This trip we brought our 83 year old grandma. And her walker. This is a two story hotel with NO ELEVATOR. Desk clerk was polite and friendly. She upgraded one of our rooms to a suite because it was the only room left on the first floor. She felt bad but shouldn't you warn 2nd floor reservations of the lack of elevator? I had to make the reservation last minute, when I called their internet was down so she had to call back. No elevator. Upon check out, internet went down again, they emailed receipt when it came back up. When we utilized the free breakfast, they were out of milk, no coffee made, not enough eggs for everyone. It's all little stuff but for $300 between the two rooms, it's pretty annoying. Hopefully next trip we can make reservations earlier... And somewhere else.

The little town of Gurnsey, Wyoming is in a great place for recreational travelers to spend the night. Located by Fort Laramie National Historic Site and Gurnsey State Park, the Cobblestone Inn makes a great place to lay your head for the night. The hotel is located right alongside the Platt River and there are tables out on the lawn where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and the river passes by.The rooms were very clean and have the common amenities. refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, flatscreen TVand an in-room safe. The room was very clean, smelled good and the air conditioner was set at a comfortable temperature when we walked into the room. The shower was awesome with plenty of water pressure and a great shower head. The staff was very nice and efficient when we checked in. She provided us some information about how to find dinner, and there are menus for the local eating spots available in the room. The Cobblestone Inn serves a continental breakfast with the room. We had a nice stay here in Gurnsey.
