Deek Creek RV Park is friendly and a very quiet place to stay. We were 1 month for my husbands work, and everyone stayed to themselves, but other campers were very nice and friendly as well. Only reason I gave this review a 4 star not 5 is because their laundry facility needs huge improvements with new washers and dryers they just installed as I arrived. Machines always turns sensor to unbalanced making your clothes not rinse and wring properly and dryers do not dry evenly, not to mention the change machine works only 50% of the time. Other than that showers are big and clean, roomy lots, and lots of space between campers. They say, dogs must be leashed but not everyone follows the rule. There's a dollar general up the street and a couple of restaurants, bars, and small town grocery store. Would I return...a definite YES...but will be traveling with my own washer & dryer.

✨They allow dogs of any size and breed (which was a huge help for us cause we have a pitbull )✨Stayed Mid July- Mid September 2023:Deer Creek is very quiet & friendly! The location used to be a mobile home park so every RV spot is spacious. You definitely don’t feel like your on top of one another! Which feels amazing!🌟They have GOOD WiFi!, ⭐️Bathrooms are always clean!⭐️They just got a new washer and dryer’s⭐️It takes about $5 in quarters to do a load.(wash&dry)There is no local laundromat in town. The nearest one is 30 minutes away going in opposite directions so it’s a huge bonus that they have it on their property!🌟 Michaela does an amazing job, maintaining the property, she’s is very sweet and easy to talk to!AND if you like seeing wildlife, there’s a whole bunch of deer that live in that area! So drive slow!Over all amazing experience staying here! We will definitely be coming back again⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️

Two buddies and I were staying here while working at the power plant. The Office building Has s men and women's bathroom/shower room attached along with 4 washers/4 dryers. Never had any problems with the camper hook ups as far as the water, electric and sewage are concerned. We had a nice concrete slab next to the camper for grilling, bag toss or just sitting in the chairs. We stayed 5 or so weeks and had a great time 🤙

Highly recommend this park! If you like very large sites, beautiful trees,, easy access in and out, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, then stay here! It is right next to a nice city park for kids and dogs to play. Melanie (owner?) was kind and accommodating to loan us a 50/30 adapter for the night. We stayed overnight on our way to Montana.

Nice and quiet! Lots of improvements going on. Laundry room was newly renovated and very clean. I did not go into the restroom so I do not know it’s status. Trees are all trimmed, new concrete pads next to the rv. Dump connections were flush to the ground with concrete around it. The perimeter sites appear to have really good shade. Some of the new sites are near the river. Great playground and park and a bike trail next to the the rv park. I would definitely come back.if I am in the area.

Always clean, kept up. Follows along deer creek for some wonderful fishing and the creek joins the p River towards the back of the grounds for adult fishing, floating and funNoteworthy details: This is similar to a KOA campground

Very friendly and helpful managers. Roomy showers could use a little paint but were wonderful for my disabled aunt. Working on the wifi but had cable. Very dog friendly and grassy. The wild turkeys were an enjoyable sight. We would stay here again if in the area.

We been living here for 2 1/2 years & we love it! All of the upgrades that have been done makes daily life easier. Love waking up to the turkeys & then opening the door & seeing 2-5 deer eating in the yard. WE'RE HOME.

For us it's an off season time but it was quiet and clean. Woke to the sounds of wild turkey's barking and squaking, it was awesome. Took pictures and video. The woman that helped us and did all the bathroom cleaning and such was a sweetheart

Reservations: Management responded promptly to our call to make reservations. She was pleasant, helpful, and professional.Access from major highway: Campground is conveniently located just a few miles off Interstate 26. All roads are good. No clearance issues.Site condition: The site was level. It needs a fresh coat of gravel, but unless there has been recent rain then the earth is quite stable.Utilities: Electric, water, and sewer were all good. If you have a big rig then you'll want 50 amp service in the summer as there are no trees for transient sites.Local attractions: The campground borders on the very nice city park on one side and the North Platte River on the other. It is about a 2/3 mile walk into town. In that distance you can reach grocery store, pizza cafe, bar&lounge, and Baptist Church. The locals: The campground residents were very friendly as you expect from folks in these parts.Amenities: The campground bathrooms and showers are well maintained and very clean. This is not a resort. you will not find here many other amenities beyond those herein specified.Internet access: In a world where we expect poor Internet access if we get any at all, this campground was a shocking surprise. We got great throughput all times of day.

Super friendly and accommodating staff, nice little RV spot! Had room for a RV and trailer that was 75 feet. It was a nice and quiet spot, shower/bathroom was remodeled recently and was super clean! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to stop for the night.

Spent two weeks at Deer Creek Village at $238.10 per week. This includes the 5% sales tax and 6% lodging tax. There is no host or manager living on site. This park is very quiet at night. This 35 site RV Park has FHU at each site. Water (55 psi), Electric (20/30/50) and sewer all performed as needed. The free Wi-Fi was very strong in the morning/day. However, at night (5 pm to 11 pm) it was extremely weak. I received approx. 12 OTA TV Stations. Satellite dish owners may have an issue depending on the site assigned dure to trees. Each site has a new 12 X 24 concrete patio, 15’ parking area and a 15’ driveway. Each site is approx. 75’ deep. The owners are currently installing 25 new sites identical to the current sites. No site currently has a picnic table or fire pit. Some sites have grass and some sites only have dirt/gravel. Deer Creek has a beautifully refurbished bathrooms and laundry. I heard the owners will install a dock at the North Platte River and several cabins. Directly next door to the park is a huge city park with a playground just for the kiddies. During our stay the park was 90-95% filled with local workers. During our stay we encountered several barking/loose dogs and many loud vehicles, including motorcycles’. We also witnessed the local police travel through the park several times. We enjoyed watching several deer in the city park/RV park. The roads are gravel based.

Past reviews didn’t indicate that this was a good choice but we went anyway and discovered that major improvements have started to take shape with new owners, newly remodeled bathrooms, laundry room and the sites are being improved. Staff was pleasant and helpful. This place deserves another look.

Quiet place to relax. New owners are working to upgrade electric and sewer and rebuilding tge Park. Nit all sites have grass but it has been planted. Huge sites that they are adding concrete patios too. Definately going to be a stunning park when complete on Deer Creek with lots of wildlife. We will be back. Live tge area and community. Melanie is a great source of information of the area. Come check out this diamond in the making

Good basic campground a few miles off I-25 with grassy pullthru sites, full hookups, clean bathrooms and commercial washers/dryers. Bonus is free WiFi and Cable TV and the city park/ playground next door. Quiet location with deer to watch at dusk.

Decent facilities augmented by a crew that really stepped up to the challenge of accommodating the unprecedented number of campers that came for the August 21 solar eclipse. The river makes tor a lovely border to the north. Mule deer and wild turkey make this place home. They do need some minor maintenance fixes and that's why they're getting 4 stars.

While the campground doesn't look like much. There are pull-thru FHU sites w/ cable. The wifi is good. Quiet in the evenings. Have seen deer & wild turkeys in campground. Managers very nice. Passport America discount.

We stayed here overnight on the 19th May 2016. Would definitely stay again. We read the reviews before selecting. I really don't think this place deserves the bad comments it got. Yes, it's Old and a bit run down, people were polite and it had green grass and trees every where. To the complainers, next time go stay at KOA and be over charged for less than what deer Creek offers.

We visited for the eclipse and had a great time. With the amount of people staying, I was pleasantly surprised that the bathroom was constantly maintained and restocked. We would go back. 😀

We stayed here just one night in June. Owner is hard at work updating the whole park! Right now it’s a work in progress, can’t wait to see it completed.
