Pretty sweet place. Kinda cool having a beer surrounded by hide and guns. Minimal spirit selection, but adequate for a good experience. The old west feel that the bar brings you is quite spectacular. Kinda high prices.

What a disappointment--drove up from Guernsey. Stopped in on 11 Aug 2023 for the smoked prime rib. They don't have it anymore! Menu changed. This place was great years back. Young server with a Glendo Eagles shirt didn't give us the time of day. We had to stop and ask her for absolutely everything. All of the other servers seemed attentive--not ours. The chicken fried steak was from a freezer bag and the mashed potatoes & gravy were bland--$25 bones! Rocky mtn oysters were okay.

Took my mother in-law for her birthday we waited forever to order. It was busy but there is only about 10 tables and 2 servers. The guy that kept checking on us was amazing he was our server when we were there in November absolutely amazing and the food was amazing in November also. I ordered prime rib last night and it was very rare I sent it back to come out med rare when I ordered med well. Couldn't eat it and wasn't sending it back again so my dog got a $34 treat. The mash potatoes would have been very good if they weren't saturated in blood from my meat that wasn't cooked. My mother-in-law loved her walleye though. I guess if we drive the 45mins to go back I won't be ordering the beef.

It's a nice little small town bar, where everyone seems to know each other regulars. if you like playing pool, they got 3 nice tables, the Rugrats haven't had a chance to tear up yet. Atmosphere is casual.

My girlfriend recommended this place when she heard we were glamping at Glendo State Park. We stopped by on Wednesday on our way to our yurt but dinner is only served Friday and Saturday 5 - 9pm. We went for dinner tonight and ordered what other diners raved about…Bbq ribs and prime rib! Goodness! The food was phenomenal! Fall-off-the-bone ribs and the full-flavored prime rib cooked just right. The fried mushrooms were super crispy on the outside with a burst of flavor when bitten into (don’t burn your mouth). Nothing, NOTHING was so-so, even the sweet potato fries were yummy…just the right amount of crunch before you hit the sweet root. We wanted to try their famous French Onion soup but it wasn’t on today’s menu, instead we were served prime soup. It was hearty and tasty (not MSG or buillion flavored), and the chunks of meat were tender. I could have made a meal with just that and their fried bread. Our host, Dale, was so helpful and sociable, and the rest of the staff were super attentive. So, if you are driving to Glendo State Park or driving past Glendo, drop by for dinner at the times mentioned above. Unless they change the cook, which I pray they NEVER do, you will NOT be disappointed ❤️

This restaurant/bar is amazing!! We were passing through and stopped in for dinner and WOW!! That was the BEST burger I’ve had in a long time!!!! So fresh, hot, and flavorful. The bartenders (Tim and Dale) were personable, fast, and friendly. We also were helped by Kelsey who was super friendly and fun!! The customer service and food quality cannot be beat!!!!

We have been frequent customers of this restaurant under old ownership and new for years. Never in my life have we been treated the way we were last night. We pulled into town decided to stop and order food to go. We sat at the bar waiting over an hour for 4 tacos. There were customers who came in after us ordered food and were served before us. Not one apology for the long wait and instead we were yelled at on our way out the door by the bartender that it wasn’t their fault. After we paid for our food we were told we didn’t have to take it. All we were looking for was an apology for the wait and for them to acknowledge we waited so long. Instead we were reprimanded for being frustrated. Now they have responded not only discounting us an our experience they are calling me a liar and we are the rude customers. I welcome them to post video clips of said video when we came in and left. Not looking for a pissing match but come on. Their response just goes to show you the customer is never right.

Was nice to hang out for a bit and have some yummy burgers. Cocktail was reasonably priced, liked the atmosphere. Looking forward to camping in the area next summer. We'll be back!

What a great spot!! Absolutely loved the environment.... great selection of spirits. Be aware though, they only have good served Thursdays through Sundays due to it being slow Monday through Wednesday. Otherwise... very happy we found it!!
