If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I went to their website back in august to look at pricing and apparently I signed up. I received the equipment but was never able to get it to connect. On the app during installation it says "billing will begin once connection is completed". I was never able to get it to connect so I did not know I was being billed. I just received a notice that I was sent to collections for $300 because of non payment. Their services are a joke, the customer service was a joke, and the way they treat people is a joke.

This joke of a company has it set up so your wi-fi shuts itself off constantly to save them money but it costs you a ton of time constantly turning the wi-fi back on about 30 plus times a day. It's pathetic. They also don't have local phone numbers in their spectrum offices. You have to call an 800 number and talk to somebody that has no clue what's going on. They also raised the rates by almost double for what appears to be absolutely no reason. This place is an absolute joke. There's a reason this company has gone bankrupt and changed it's name and ownership multiple times. Massive rip off and trash equipment that can't even do it's job properly. I don't overpay for internet for them to decide when it will be off or on. This is my last month with this trash company.

My girlfriend and I just moved to a new apartment. Spectrum came and hooked up new router and everything got there xumo for the cable stuff. I am not a very heavy gamer I don’t do it everyday but mostly because I can’t because my WiFi cuts out and I lose everything on the game, called spectrum they said I had great WiFi and gave me an aether cord and assured it wouldn’t happen again well then lost WiFi games later here I am. We have started to make it so I’m the only one on our WiFi when I play(shut all phones off the WiFi and anything else and here I am still writing the review. I encourage everyone to check other options before choosing spectrum, because it can’t get much worse. Dog water would be the words I use for spectrums WiFi. I’ll be calling visionary on Monday. Spectrum your dads hate you.

Need to update hours says they were open today went there to pay a bill and they were closed and then last night they were closed when it say open till 8 not only that I have three kids I had to load up twice just for them to not be open

Just got wifi, 2 day had to replace motom. A week later they shut us down for a “fraud” alert when they couldn’t pull anything up. Sat on the phone for a hour getting transferred to 5 different departments. extremely annoying. I also pay over 100 a month for the “best wifi”

Was a customer for 8yrs. The cable was over $180 a month after the new customer discount wore off. The internet was $79 alone with random outages everyday. They sent technicians over a few times and managed to get the outages down to once a day for about an hour. They said that was the best they could do. Would not recommend them to anyone else.

Why is this company even in business?AVOID AT ALL COST!Don't believe me! Read their reviews!And here, for WEEKS, a cord has been laid across my lawn for our internet when the underground cable and box were damaged.Their underground, in the alley was buried 2&5/8" below ground!WHO DOES THAT?Condescending attitude by Techs and customer service people at the store.TERRIBLE SERVICE! And I am not alone in my thinking!Here is the box just sitting open in the rain and snow now for WEEKS!

Constantly changing things on customers that have been with them forever. You don’t get any good deals. Make sure you read the fine print because they will add something stupid in there. I’m definitely switching once I pay off my phone. Wish they could just keep it real. Worst service ever!

They worked with me on my damaged equipment. They made me feal at home and they totally under stood. Some times your not home and equipment gets damaged and you don't realy know what happened! They were very understanding and they help me get back to normal.I expected a confrontation, but they were very helpful. I didn't expect that. They are so much better than what usually happens.

The worse company ever to deal with. They make everything complicated and charge you more than they say. Than won’t even work with you on a one day wait for payment, especially during pandemic. So many have had this issue, just a horrible company. Do not recommend!

Took over a week to setup the WiFi after having to schedule 2 appointments.... they also charged me for the month of service that I wasn’t able to use my equipment on account to me moving. Overall I feel they’re fair I just must have gotten a sour slice of the apple

Had service hooked up on July 17th with a free installation promotion. On August 2nd we get a call call saying our account is 35 days past due for a total of $273 bucks for a plan that’s supposed to cost $105 a month. First of all we have never received a bill, secondly if you do the math we haven’t had an account with them for 35 days for it to be 35 days past due. So I call to figure out what’s going on and our “free installation” cost us $60 bucks, nobody can figure why it says we are 35 days past due and then to top it off tried to make a payment while they look into it and they are using the wrong zip code and can’t process a damn payment. After 2 hours on the phone and another 30 mins with my bank we are still in the same spot. They want a payment but can’t figure out how to process it and we are still right where we started. Still charging me $60 for free installation, still saying we have two bills for less than 30 days of service. Get dial up Internet before getting a contract with these guys. They will bill for whatever they want and apparently whenever they want too and blame you for there system failure.

The people you talk with at the office and the techs have always been wonderful. I don't blame them in the slightest. However. The actual service itself is godawful. "Up to 60 mbps" means it fluctuates with 60 being the max. I work from home and stream online- how am I supposed to do so when my internet drops every 5 minutes? Losing connection to servers, missing updates for work, and constantly being kicked from the internet is unacceptable.

I moved in not even a week ago and wanted only internet. The lady on the phone offered me a free home phone line so I accepted. Now, not even a week into my new service I see that I am being billed for the phone line. That is not free. That is a bait-and-switch.I have the (minimum) 100mbps package and I can barely view a Twitch stream in 720p which is less than 5mbps. I did a speed test and it shows I have 20mbps down and 5mbps up despite having the 100/10 package. I only have 1 PC connected straight to my modem (no router) and it has NO Wifi so why is my speed 80% less that what I'm paying for? Another bait-and-switch.If it sounds too good to be true... It probably is. Bad practices and I should have known better after I saw all the bad reviews.-edit-Went in today since they can only upgrade services over the phone but you have to go in person to a location to downgrade or cancel. The parking lot is horrendous and concealed carry is not allowed. The lady at the desk cancelled the phone but couldn't remove the 9.99$ charge (despite the 30day money back guarantee) so she removed the 9.99$ self-service install charge instead. Sounds fishy, but the price works out the same so ohh well, right? She said the rep on the phone indeed mislead me and said it was their tactic to call it "free" because the 12month introductory internet price is 20$ less so they can technically call the phone line "free" since it costs less than the regular overall price and I'm still saving 10$. I feel a class action lawsuit and a complaint to the FCC about that now... The whole situation today seems off and something is clearly wrong with their practices. Also was told that around 5pm when everyone in Gillette who has Spectrum gets home from work and starts streaming TV or using the internet that their main hub gets overwhelmed and that causes my slow speeds. Sounds like over-selling services and an excuse why I'm not getting speeds that I'm paying for... If you have a problem with the services or are misled by a sales rep then you need to file a complaint with the FCC! It's free, they will help resolve your situation, and you can help others from being scammed as well. It's YOUR hard earned money. Don't let them steal it from you while promising something they aren't giving you.

They really did me wrong while I was using their services I was paying a crazy amount for just internet an there were alot of extra fees all the time an then they discontinued my service an were constantly sending me notifications.Horrible business horrible management.

i called to get help with a defective new phone. I had to listen to several promotions before I was put on hold. I then had to wait 10 minutes more and got cut off. Just put me through to the proper department and stop wasting my time.

Cant believe they can justify charging me an additional $10 for making a payment over the phone because they want to have call centers in Puraguay. Not to mention they never contacted me when my automatic payments were stopped. I think they were just happy they could collect an additional $15 in late charges. Companies that treat clients like another number need to go out of buisness.

Never have I experienced such terrible service through any sort of business. The cable is choppy, the internet is only connected for about 25% of the month, and every single encounter with an employee has been extremely dissatisfying. My internet is always out longer then it is on, and none of my neighbors with the same internet provider experience this problem. When I tried to get them to fix it, they sent service people to my house on 5 separate occasions, all of which was ineffective, inconclusive, and a complete waste of time. The only recommendations they can give is to get a new modem, or buy their own brand of modem. Well, I've upgraded my modem twice and I've still got the same problem.And according to 2 of their employees, there is at least 500-600 people in my town with the same problem. All being dealt with as inefficiently as myself.Furthermore, According to both these employees, the reasoning behind this is because this company doesn't want to spend money on upgrading the equipment that is required to do what they say they can do. Provide ALL of their customers with the internet at the speed they claim.Whether these claims from their own employees are true or not makes no difference to me. I'm still incredibly dissatisfied, and I personally know others who feel the same.In short, I wouldn't recommend an enemy to this place. It's completely maddening paying for something you don't receive fully, especially with their terribly inefficient employees who apparently know nothing about how to fix such a problem. Please, for your own sake, look no further into this company.

Internet drops out at least 3 times a month. Was 2 days before they got it fixed last time. They need to STOP over-subscribing their data nodes. It’s notorious. Can’t wait to move towns and drop this joke of a service. Absolutely terrible.

Spectrum has always been curtious and pleasant to do business with. I don't like their high prices!! I believe that if you have been a customer in good standing for many years, that they should give you a break on your cable and internet service. They are constantly trying to get new customers by offering really good deals, so in my opinion I think they should also reward longtime customers the same thing as new customers get, every now and again.

The internet cuts out constantly. I thought it was my router so I bought a new one. The internet still drops out. I use the internet for work and I am stuck trying to do it on my phone.... Not acceptable especially at $60 a month. In this new age of cord cutting this company cannot keep up and can't even be counted on to check your email.

It took at least 20 seconds for my webpage to load to write this review. If there were an option for no stars, i would have chose that option.Internet is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting throughout every day for a few months now and it is impossible to update their products firmware.Please do not support this company charging full price for partial services,Surely there are better options elsewhere

Coming from other cities I'm used to awesome internet service. This is by far the most god awful service I've experienced in my life. It constantly cuts out every few days, sometimes multiple times a day and rarely is at the speed you pay for. If there were any other options for high speed internet I would have switched years ago.

Best internet provider in the area. Customer service is always polite and helpful. Wish the local office was open because I need some new equipment and have to wait for it to be mailed.
