Fantastic museum! So much information and a beautiful gift shop filled with local craftspeople art. They also offer eco tours. We toured with Ben and it was a highlight of our week. Ben is extremely knowledgeable in history, petroglyphs, and the wild animals. His tours are customized to what you want to see and learn.

While driving back from the Wind River Reservation to Jackson, my wife and I decided to make a stop here. I'm not really sure what we were expecting, but it was definitely worth a stop. Between learning more about the life of bighorn sheep, their history and role in the area, and getting to touch their fur and skulls, we both learned a lot. The displays are very well put together and maintained, and the information is very clear but still packed with information. There is a small room with a theatre with informational videos playing as well. We both enjoyed the stop, and learned a lot.

This is one of the nicest animal education centers I have ever seen. Tons of information and displays are packed into this center. There are many interactive displays and lots of hands-on activities for the kids. My daughter found some scavenger hunt sheets that helped her explore the center and that helped to enhance her experience even more. Don't miss this stop - it's wonderful!

Beautiful display and great staff – definitely a must see. This is located right off the south side of the main road through Dubois (26) and in front of Dubois Park. There is a fair size parking lot. The building and exhibit are free and are very nice. You enter and exit through the gift shop. They are COVID compliant with shields and face masks. As you enter you are greeted by a person who explains about the exhibit and offers information on a driving tour through a wildlife management area about 4 miles east of town. There is a 10 minute video that runs on a loop and displays that show the various sheep and habitats. It is very nicely done and the staff was excellent. I leaned a lot and recommend this for anyone interested in bighorn sheep.

Great place for a homeschool field trip. Lots of animal displays and native tribe info. Staff are knowledgable about the area and have a fun scavenger hunt to complete. There is a local park next door and river walk with animal facts and tracks. The playground and picnic tables are mostly shaded during the hot afternoon. There are public bathrooms so great area to spend the day.

Had a great experience. Very informative and fun. Loved the exhibits, store and educators! Saw a herd with 2 Rams and at least 12 ewes as well as a lone ram while exploring Dubois. Amazing!

Great museum. Nicely laid out, excellent exhibits. Will take you between 15 minutes and an hour to get through all depending on how long you choose to enjoy each exhibit.

Was going to stop and visit here like we've done at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation but just to get in the door for the three of us was over $15. Might have been worth it but the building is small so didn't think there could be that much to see. Moved on down the road to other exhibits.

Dubois delivered. Great museum in a cool little town. Can't wait for another vacation.Museum very well thought out as well as informative. Front desk staff person directed us to an area where sightings of bighorn sheep is common, quite a hot day. Only thing we saw was unforgettable scenery, no sheep but terrain made up for hiding bighorn sheep.

The kids loved it, and we did too. The kids got to do a scavenger hunt and we all learned something new. Very well laid out with lots of sheep, and other animals. I think it cost our family of 5 $15 and the kids got neat animal fact wheels for completing the scavenger hunt.

This Center is a great short stop on the the road between Grand Teton National Park and I-80. Our kids really liked it and we learned a lot about an interesting animal. They also required masks inside, which is an important factor. We spent about an hour there.
