Lots to see and learn here about the local land and culture. So much history in one lot from the early pioneers to native American culture. Unique and interesting articles and great for kids because they have item to touch and hold. Tons of rare taxidermy animals and prints of the local petroglyphs. Also a great place to get information on what to see around town and learn a little history at the same time.

Everyone is very knowledgeable and that helps a lot.Love the way it is set up for a small museum.The C M display is very old... little moccasins with fragile beads. Etc.

The original buildings from the old town are so much fun to go through! They are not heated though so if you come in the winter be sure you are dressed warm!

This is a wonderful museum. It allows children to engage with many aspects of early life in the upper Wind River region. It's well worth a visit.
