The service I received from dollar generals manager Shannon was above and beyond. She did not hesitate to recognize a good deed of a young lady standing up for her teacher in school. A hero. So deserving to be honored. Even delivered on her own time to my daughter at the high school. She even picked up the tab.... blessings like this can change people's lives. Give hope. I'm proud of my daughter. And so grateful to Shannon for her kindness. Thank you dollar general. You got an exceptional employee.

I inventory stores and Family Dollar is one of the accounts I travel around the Northern Colorado region to audit.Of all the Family Dollars I have gone to, this one is the most organized as far as the shopping experience. Everything a household needs is in this store and the layout of the merchandise is exceptional. Also, Alli the staff I dealt with was extremely helpful, friendly, and have the overall personification that they liked working there.When it comes to discount stores; this is why this store excels above all others. Unfortunately, it is deep in Douglas so the average American will never be able to enjoy the sneaky country town shopping experience available here.As far as Family Dollar compares to major chains; I'm always confused why people don't shop at discount chains more frequently. Yes you can't get the trendiness of items; but the savings are extreme. And if the products aren't as "effective" as the high-tech and most "extreme" as available at other high-power chains... buy an extra box or two and get the same results. You'll silk save large amounts of money.

Bargains abound throughout the store and the employees were courteous. However, the sales floor is very untidy which, consequently, creates a somewhat stressful shopping experience.

Had one of you workers high on METH try to fight me because he was hallucinating that I was talking to him lol and then I had one of your employees insinuate I was trying to steal merchandise when I WORKED AS AN AST. MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION. Not only was working at thus establishment absolutely horrifying and one of my worst experiences working , shopping here is a tragedy and a nightmare. Shelves half stocked carts full of product still in boxes blocking the aisles.To say this is a JOKE of a store is an understatement and an insult to comedy. I will never shop here again and I IMPLORE anyone reading this to shop at Dollar General instead for your SANITY'S sake.

Worst family ever!! Long lines nothing stocked crowded and horrible service!!! And the manager is always talking about how she hates her job to customers and is always gone doing personal things on the clock for hours at a time!!!

Terrible , they have no organization here , can not find anything , you just have to stumble upon it nothing has been put away after a delivery , if you need something quick you better count on an hour instead.
