We live in Colorado, my husband is working in Douglas for a few months, so I have ben going to see him every few weeks. We went in last week to check out the store and absolutely loved it. It reminded me of how stores use to be. Actual having a fresh meat counter with butchers., Nothing pre wrapped put out on shelves. The feel of locally owned no big chain store was amazing. Such friendly staff. Oh how I miss having a store like this near me. If I lived in Douglas I would always shop here and only buy my meat here. I'm taking a cooler with me next visit to bring back some meat.

Yeah I went to Douglas grocery with my mom and dad and when we were about to leave the owner came in yelled at us and said what are the dogs doing in here and didn’t even give us a chance to respond and yelled at us and told us to get them out and then when we said they are service animals he said he didn’t care and that we could tie them up outsideGoogle is free you can look up the ADA laws service animals are allowed anywhere the public is allowedRant Over

The most decent priced store I've been into in a long time. Very friendly, well organized, nice wide isle's. The Butcher was very helpful for us... I totally recommend this store if you're in Douglas WY!!!

I highly recommend this place for any of your meat needs. I recently purchased ribeyes and they were some of the best I’ve had and at a reasonable price. Staff was excellent and friendly and I feel I’ll will be welcomed back there anytime.

Nice hometown feel to this store. It was a pleasant surprise to see the meat and deli departments. The meats are hand cut and they'll even do custom cuts for you! I saw some exceptional cuts of beef, bone in rib eye and boneless, porterhouse, t bone, boneless pork ribs and more! They actually had some prime rib eye steak that were so well marbled with fati just know they're going be delicious when they get cooked! Make mine medium rare! Thanks everyone!

Awesome small town grocery store, prices ARE little higher but worth it. From the care the employees show with the produce to the 100% dedicated Butcher team w local meats; hard to pass this place up, better to support this place than big corporate Albertsons.

You can't get a local grocery store anymore! This is IT. They have actual butchers at the meat counter AND you can pick out what you want. You order lunch meat and cheese and it is cut to order. The burger is ground fresh daily and the steaks are fresh cut as well. The employees are friendly and there is little no to waiting in line.

Small town grocer with decent prices. Definitely love this store more than any other. Granted they don't have specific items I need, but they do have things I can't get anywhere else. Like quality meat and made to feel comfortable.

Bought a bunch of produce on Friday.. It was all moldy by Tuesday. Called to let them know and told me i could get a refund. Very nice considering i do not have a receipt, but been going there for YEARS and this was the first ever experience of this kind. Always nice people.

Clean and nice . Selection is very limited and prices on the higher side, but I go there for the butcher shop. The meat is greatly priced from local farmers, and all the sausage is made right there.

The atmosphere is awesome, like a good ol mom and pop store. The owners are on site. The checkers are all friendly and helpful. I don't shop anywhere else!
