Pleasant locally owned restaurant and shop near Devils Tower National Monument. The rating is based on similar style restaurants.Food 4/5: I ordered a bison steak, with steak fries, and green beans for a gluten friendly option. The steak was medium rare and had good flavor, but salty. The green beans were previously frozen but were made to accommodate a healthy side request. The bread and onion rings although I couldn’t eat were still served with the steak. I would recommend keeping separate for others that might be keto or GF.My kid ordered a buffalo burger and said it was the best burger he’s had to date! The side was lightly breaded medallion fries… they were said to be tasty. My partner ordered the fish and chips with the medallion fries. Again they were from frozen but out in the middle of nowhere that’s to be expected. All was very hot and tasty food.Atmosphere 4.5/5: A very clean and down home country atmosphere. It was neat to walk around the shop while waiting on the food. The only thing missing was a view of the mountain from the restaurant (slightly misleading name) but it’s visible from the parking lot and the window in the store.Service 5/5: Spoke with Sarah the new owner and she said they just purchased the place a week ago. They are doing a great job of running the place. Teresa the cook was super friendly and accommodating to requested for meat/veggy options.Overall, a nice stop on the way to or from Devil’s Tower. I recommend stopping there.

She ordered the bacon cheeseburger and I had the bison burger + cheese.. without exaggeration these were some of the best burgers we have had - cooked perfectly with toppings on the side even, so you can custom assemble or add condiments. The strawberry rhubarb pie - specifically the crust - was also delicious.. HIGHLY recommended for great burgers..!

Came here after an afternoon at Devils Tower. I was starving, and since it's off season, this place was the only place open.After speaking with the nice waitress, I ordered the Buffalo burger and fries. She let me sit outside as it was a beautiful day, and brought out my food promptly. I've only had buffalo a handful of times, but man, this burger hit the spot. It was tastely, perfectly cooked and came with lettuce, onions and pickles. What more can a girl ask for?!The scenery here was beautiful and you can view the Monument. In the back, there is also seating and a beautiful panaromic view of the canyons.Would definitely come back again for the Buffalo burger.

Loved this little place the folks that were there were super friendly, we went on a spur of the moment trip for spring break and they had a spot to park our motorhome and were gracious enough to stay late to feed our huge family. Family friendly will be back when we are in that neck of the woods again.Kid-friendliness: Super understanding with having 6 kids that had been cooped up in our motorhome ages 15-2. Had coloring books and crayons as well as some kids wildlife magazines available. High chair and booster seats were in great shape.

Four of us came here for lunch after visiting Devils Tower. We were not super hungry but it's lunch time. Not too many places are open during this time of the year (April/27th) and this place is located just a few minutes outside of the park so we went.The lady at the restaurant was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered the Buffalo burger w/ egg salad and 12-piece chicken bucket. The burger was pretty good but OMG OMG OMG the chicken was so tasty! I can honestly say this has to be the best fried chicken that I ever had!It's a rainy and cold day and this place is warm and cozy. We were so full after the burger and chicken but we couldn't resist the freshly baked blueberry pie and a cup of freshly brewed hot coffee. The pie was heated and it was so good and we couldn't resist but ordered the 2nd one.Would definitely come back again for the chicken and the pie.

My Husband and I dropped in after going to Devils Tower. The Buffalo burgers were great and so was the ice cream. Later I called because I couldn't find my credit card and Riley checked the picnic table area and driveway for me. She is a treasure and her kindness did not go unnoticed. Thank you also to her co workers who also looked around.

Stopped here twice while on vacation. Food is fantastic, great service and the beer is cold. They truly make ya feel welcome. The store has lots of locally produced pieces of art for sale.

Stopped here to eat on my way to devils tower and had a positive experience. Place was clean with a clean restroom. Ordered the Devils Delight breakfast and it was sinfully delicious with every bite eaten too. But the best part was that the man and woman who owned it made me feel as if we had always been the best of friends!
