My wife and I spent one night at Devil's Tower Lodge on August 31, 2023. Upon our arrival that afternoon, we were warmly greeted by staff that briefly showed us around the lodge then to our room. We were then reminded that dinner would be served at 7:00 which gave us plenty of time to unpack and rest after a lengthy drive from Mount Rushmore. There were 7 other travelers who were staying at the Lodge that attended dinner that night. Everyone around the dinner table was relaxed and extremely friendly, including staff which continued to cater to our needs while taking a few well-deserved moments to enjoy their meals which, by the way, was home-cooked, healthy and delicious. After dinner, most everyone continued to linger around the table and talk about anything and everyone from their travels to their friends, families and life experiences. A good time was had by all! After a restful evening and good night's sleep, my wife and I met the same suspects again the following morning for a hearty breakfast. Staff continued to shine by providing everyone the same level of service that they had the night before, including one relatively young Tennessee transplant who captivated my wife and I with her stories of climbing Devil's Tower and her love of the area.In closing, my wife and I highly recommend staying at Devil's Tower Lodge for anyone interested in visiting the nation's first national monument. You won't be disappointed. The location and accommodations were both relaxing and comfortable while the personnel that took care of us during our brief stay were genuinely warm and welcoming.

Perfect location, I could see the tower from my bedroom window! The staff didn't feel like staff, more like hanging out with old time friends; I was lucky enough to meet one of the legendary characters of this part of the World, Frank Sanders, what a bonus! The lodge felt more like staying at a really spacious comfortable home and the food was like the best home cooked meals. The climbing guide made everything run like perfect clock work on the summit day. A very immersive unique experience for the couple days I was here ! John, Melbourne, Australia.

While Devils Tower Lodge is a bit rustic, the staff was fantastic and the room was comfortable. The views are absolutely amazing and the food was great, too. The most fun was mealtime with everyone sitting around a common table and getting to know one another. We really had a great time and I would highly recommend spending a night (or more) if you're visiting Devils Tower. We aren't climbers, but many of the staff are and I'm sure their guides would give you a great experience with that, too.

I'm giving Devils Tower Lodge a five-star because of the interesting people who both work/live there and the guests. Dinner and breakfast are served on one long table, so we sat with both a climbing guide then a group who the previous day climbed the Tower. VERY interesting. Our room was a bit dark, needed more lighting and the bed wasn't the most comfortable but where else would one have a wonderful view and listen/ask questions to rock climbers?

Simply amazing! Large grass field to camp with a flushable toilet, sink, and an outdoor hot water shower with perfect views of the tower. You literally can't camp any closer. We met our climbing guide Greg in the lodge as well as the hostess Rachel and they were incredible people, always smiling and welcoming. The meals are delicious! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend the guided rock climbing of the tower! I want to go back already!

Whether your dream is to see the tower or climb the tower, Devils Tower Lodge is the place to stay. You will feel like you are among family with hosts that REALLY know the tower. You have the opportunity to share two outstanding meals at a dining table that has the best view of the tower on the planet. Great food, stimulating table conversations, and wonderful rooms. Such an amazing place!

Selected the Rock Star package. It included 3 days lodging, meals , 2 days of 1 on 1 rock climbing instruction, and a summit attempt on the third day. My guide Gabe was very safe, patient, and willing to do whatever was necessary to make me feel comfortable on Devil's Tower. I didn't think I would be able to summit, but Gabe gave his opinion that I was ready. We frequently stopped and did gear checks which was reassuring. Gabe is such a positive person. Even though he's summited Devil's Tower tons of times, he genuinely seemed happy to be there. His wife Rachel made some delicious meals, and the rest of the staff was always kind and accommodating. The views of Devil's Tower from the lodge are breathtaking. It was an amazing experience, and well worth it.

We didn't stay at the Lodge as they were booked up but we had an excellent climbing experience with Tristan and Grace. They took us partway up Devil's Tower on the "Do Betters", " Broken Tree", and "New Wave" routes. They were professional, accommodating, and fun. Our party of 6 men in their 60's always felt safe; we had no climbing experience. Tristan and Grace literally showed us the ropes - teaching us how to climb, use handholds, and belay. It was a great 1/2 day.

A lovely place with lovely people. Gabe and I climbed the tower together and he taught me so much about anchor building and self rescue! When the climbing was done, Glenn and Sadie lavished us with delicious home cooked meals. All the other guides working there were wonderful to talk with. It was just a great atmosphere all around! I can't wait to come stay again!Nearby activities: Hiking and climbing!Food & drinks: Breakfast and dinner were delicious and home cooked by the climbing guides that run the bead and breakfast. And the service they provided was so wonderful!

I would highly recommend Devils Tower Lodge! We stayed here 1 night in the Windows room. It had the best view of Devils Tower right from the bed! This was a cool place to stay. They offer breakfast and dinner "family style", so you get to meet a lot of the people staying there and enjoy a meal together sharing travel stories! The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and we made lots of new friends. The location was perfect as it was inside the park! We would definitely stay here again!

You can’t beat the location, especially if you’re interested in climbing Devil’s Tower! This is a B&B with private bathrooms for each room. The lodge is in the park property and each room had a fantastic view of DT. Gabriel, Rachel and the rest of the staff provided a clean room, family style meals and great camaraderie with the other guests. It was nice to chat with fellow travelers for their insight.Nearby activities: Visiting Devil’s Tower is super convenient from here as the property is within the park.

The room was beautiful, and ours had a view of the tower. We also had a porch for viewing. There is a jacuzzi on the property, and a sitting room filled with books, plus a larger, common porch. The dinner we had was delicious, and a fridge with drinks and snacks is available for guests. Little animals greet you in the morning, as you sip coffee on the porch. We will be back.

I was their to climb the tower. Amazing staff and Amazing Climbing Guide!! My room was very clean and overlooked Devil's Tower. The food was all homemade by the staff and was wonderful. I do a lot of cooking so I'm very picky on the taste of the food I eat and I was very pleased! Breakfast at 8am and dinner at 7pm. Thank you and see you again next time I'm in the area.

We only stayed at the Lodge for one night, but it was a lovely stay and we already plan on being back! We opted in for dinner and breakfast, both of which were super yummy. The hosts were kind and friendly. The view from our giant bathtub was unbeatable. Upon arrival, we unleashed the toddler (who had been stuck in the car for a large part of the day), had a fun impromptu photoshoot on the back lawn a couple of hours before sunset. We hope to come back and do some rock climbing when the kiddo is a few years older.

Frank, Rachel and Gabe welcomed us with open arms. What a fantastic experience! The views are incredible and the hospitality is second to none. This beautiful home has comfortable private rooms, a fabulous communal dinner (highly recommend) and breakfast, and several common areas to meet and spend time getting to know travelers from all over the world. Frank, you're an amazing person. Thanks for sharing a small piece of your life's journey with us!

I will go back as much as I can. Everything is first rate. The staff, climbing guides, and even other guests of lodge are wonderful to visit with. Like a big family. Rachel cooks amazing. Best climbing guides in the area. Ask for Master Greg. Tell him I sent you and bring him fresh raspberries and he will hook you up. Knows all the hidden gems.

My wife and I made a reservation to climb the tower. Gabe and his wife were perfect in every way. My wife Diana is her 40's and had no prior climbing experience except for occasional trips to the climbing with me. She enjoyed the gym regiment and wanted to climb something substantial in the outdoor arena. As we visit the tower every summer I suggested Gabe's outfit. She went online and was impressed with Gabe's climbing and guide service and signed up.When we arrived at the Devil's Tower Gabe was ready and lead Diana to the area where new climbers practice their moves and learn new climbing skills. Diana made 4 partial accents and I knew she was being challenged but still having a lifetime of fun crammed into one day.Gabe is a consumant guide. He is knowledgeable and patient, inspiring yet keenly aware of the safety limitations of his clients. I don't know how many accents he has made with clients - too numerous to count I'm sure - but I know that he treated my wife with the utmost integrity. I felt I left my wife in the hands of a true professional and I never once worried about her safety. If you're going to cling the tower then there is only one guide company I endorse and that is the Devil Tower Lodge. Ask for the owner - Gabe - and he'll make a dream come true for you.P. S. We are going back next summer to climb the tower with Gabe leading the way.

The Lodge is a wonderful place, nicely decorated and with a very familiar atmosphere. As a guest, you feel at home from the first minute. We also enjoyed the service and meals very much. The view on Devils Tower from the lodge is breathtaking!

We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the Devils Tower Lodge. First, it's very convenient to be able to stay within the national park in such a beautiful and secluded area. The property is beautiful, and the owners and hosts make you feel at home. The room was perfect for the two of us with the private bath and small balcony area. We cannot say enough about the view of Devil's tower from our room. Don't skip out on the dinner - the food was delicious and the company was even better. We cannot wait to return.

So glad we stayed at Devil's Tower Lodge! It's inside the park so we could focus on hiking and relaxing without a lot of driving. Staff was incredible. The two rooms we stayed in were clean and comfy. Each had its quirks - mostly level changes - steps & stairs. But both had great views of the tower. The food was excellent and dining with other guests at dinner and breakfast was such a pleasure. Highly recommend!

We had a delightful stay, Devils Tower Lodge exceeded our expectations. The home is lovely and well appointed and very comfortable. Rachel and her hubs were gracious hosts, along with Frank. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a great view... of the Devils Tower of course, our room is called Burning Daylight. Very convenient since the lodge is inside the park itself! Dinner was delicious! I will not forget the rolls, Rachel said she'll give me the recipe I am waiting!! We will for sure come back!

4 climbers, 5 in our party. Hired 2 guides - who were fantastic. Solid skills and safety, yet an excellent experience. Training day was great to get accustomed to the rock and their methods. Summit day was superb. Breakfasts and suppers are excellent at the lodge - and a great time to meet other climbers and visitors. Guides and staff are part of the community. All 4 of us climbers were very challenged by the climb, yet in the end we all made it. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Loved interacting with those who arrived and camped on the property. We loved everything about our trip to Devil's Tower. Call out to Dustin, Ana, Greg and Zack.
