I love this place. They take care of cats and dogs until they can to get a home, some of them are starving for love, they don't kill any animals, they wait until the cats or dogs get at home, while the animals are there, they feed them, and they have doctors to keep them healthy.

I am an avid fan of the Treat app -- a game where one plays to earn treats for a dog in a shelter, and the Park County Animal Shelter is one of the shelters it benefits. My Treat app dog is Cedar, an scruffy Aussie mix.This organization does an amazing job for pets in need. In addition to nursing animals back to health and adopting them out to suitable homes, they also run a spay/neuter clinic to help ease pet overpopulation.

I started visiting Park County Animal Shelter after my cat passed away (donated some things) and fell in love with the animals, facility and people (been volunteering there for a few months now). I’ve volunteered at other shelters in different states and this one is PHENOMENAL. It’s clean, well maintained and the staff legitimately love and care for these beautiful animals. If I could give it a higher rating I would.

A wonderful shelter! It's small but clean and they do great work with what they have. The staff are so friendly and caring. The animals are very obviously well taken care of and loved.

THIS PLACE TOOK MY STOLDEN CATS N MADE MONEY OFF THEM N WHEN I CONFRONT THEM ABOUT MY CATS BEING TOOK THEY WERE TOTALLY RUDE JUS SAYIN O WELL THERE NOT UR CATS ANYMORE I RESCUSED ALL THREE OF THEM BOTTLE FED THEM AND HAD THEM 4 SEVEN YRS BUT DO THEY CARE NOT AT ALL!!@ ITS ALL BOUT THE $$$ THEY CAN MAKE OFF STOLDEN ANIMALS! THEY DONT CARE BOUT THE CATS N THEIR STRESS FROM BEING SEPERATED FROM THE ONLY FAMILY THEY VE EVER KNOWN OR THE OWNERS DEVSATION FROM HAVIN THERE PET STOLD. THEY ONLY CARE THAT THE MONEY THEY LL HAVE 2 RETURN THEY COULD CARELESS I THAT THERE GETTING iRID OF STOLDEN PETS

Got a wonderful new dog today! Wonderful staff, sweet dogs for the most part. It's an animal shelter so of course, so not all animals are gonna feel safe 24/7 when more people come by. You get a new pet, some food for them, and a little goody bag when adopting.

It's a nice place to look for the right kind of dog or cat to adopt, though the selections are limited. The staff are nice too, offering different kinds of help if you're a first time pet owner. You can walk right into either room in the cat hall, and those felines will come right up, and start socializing with you, which is very precious and relaxing!

I couldn't be more impressed with this facility and it's staff. Their desire to help the welfare of our animals in the community is amazing. Please reach out to them to learn about their free vaccination program. They also work with local animal hospitals to provide affordable spay and neutering. The care of our animals during vaccination left them happy and healthy. We took our 2 dogs and 1 cat there. They also throw some amazing events for holidays such as Halloween to help support the shelter and encourage people to come see what they are all about. Please stop by to see them and drop off a few items that could make a huge difference in the life of wonderful animals. I will add a photo of their "wish list".

Really AWESOME, a lady took me all around to check out all the kitties!! I made a choice and it went super smooth.. plus the animals are chipped! Kitten fees are only 65 bucks, fixed with shots and chipped!! What a great deal.. and masks required!! Happy about that!! Super friendly staff.. I'd definatly recommend people adopting and supporting our local shelters!

We adopted a senior kitty. We drove from Billings to get her because senior kitties are hard to find. Everything went smoothly and the staff and volunteer there seemed efficient and glad the kitty was getting a new home. We paid a small fee and also made a donation. We were given some of her food to take with us. It was a positive experience and we are so happy to have our new kitty.

We bought two cats, Lucy and Pickles, and we are very very satisfied!!! Lucy, AKA Foxy, is our mice catcher! Pickles, AKA Teddy, lives in our house. Penny, our other cat we had before both of them, is still kind of getting used to Teddy. Today, we brought Teddy in the garage with Foxy. She hissed when she first saw Teddy because she thought he as a human. She started meowing sadly, and Teddy came closer. We stayed in the garage for about an hour. We are very satisfied with our cats, and I can't wait to see the new and improved animal shelter!!

The unorganized and forgetful staff will tell you all about how they don't want the dogs to get attached, introduce you to a dog you absolutely love, have you fill out all the paperwork for her, then give her away to someone else the next day.

We got our dog here. They made sure he was well trained and good with kids before putting him up for adoption. He is a great dog, and has been a great fit for our family.

I got my little boy Ullr from these wonderful people. They are kind and well mannered and care for the animals in their service. They even called me a while after the adoption to check in and make sure Ullr was alright!

Went to see about adopting a pooch, he didn't like me much... I'm okay with that, what I'm not okay with is the fact that it was not listed that the dog of interest was aggressive towards males, and I was walked out to the kennel with a male ahead of me. I was also not told in advance of the dogs aggression toward males.Made my heart sad
