“Customer service is closed”I walked up to the guest services counter at a few min after 4pm and was promptly told by a bagger that “customer service was closed”, this statement should be the stores motto! This is the closest grocery to my house but I now see that I will be shopping elsewhere. This is not the first time I’ve had a negative experience here.

I really like Safeway. We do not have this grocery chain back home. I do go out of my way to visit this location. Safeway has a great selection of items to choose from, some you can't find in other stores. The employees are ALWAYS pleasant when I interact with them which I appreciate very much. I find some of the best deals at this store. I however gave this location a 4 out of 5 stars because as long as I have been shopping here, the produce section has been less than appealing. A lot of the times I have found rotten, moldy foods left out for sale and it's not just one specific vegetable or fruit. Today (Sept 3 2022) for example, most of the blackberries and raspberries put out for sale were moldy and it looked like they were just put out because the case they were in was almost fully stocked while there was a 3/$5 sale going on and I was there around 3pm or so. I'll continue shopping here but with any grocery store, check your produce before you purchase it.

I ordered the order ahead Christmas ham meal. Will never do that again. In fact my business will go elsewhere. I had to Go back to the store 3 times. 1st was my assigned confirmed date and time. The store they couldn't find an order for me. Went home and got my PC for the email confirmation. Returned back the 2nd time and low and behold they found it. I had to pay taxes on the food, which is not normally a charge item. Got home found that that the 2 pies I ordered and confirmed were not included. So had to go for the third time the next to get the pies. The ham was very fatty, green beans were not at all cooked, the sweet potatoes were very bland and to top it off the pies were broken up. My Christmas meal was not a Merry one.

Sierra is by far the most rude person I have ever had to deal with after a self check out was shorting me 2. Bucks all I wanted was my 2 bucks it wasn't anyone's fault but she tried her best to try to make it something it wasn't awesome employee Safeway I won't be back

Without fail anytime I go to this location they are very poorly stocked! I have had to make someone go in the walk in to get me whole milk, usually they try to claim they don't have any even though I can see it stacked up, cheese is always almost non existent, their meat is sub par from the rack. Look online see that something is in stock but it is nowhere to be found and Noone knows where in the store it should be. I've had a cashier get mad and make snide comments because I arranged my items so that they fit on the belt and he didn't like it because too much was coming at once, same cashier had a smart comment because what we chose to buy the day before Thanksgiving wasn't a Thanksgiving meal, as if he thought we couldn't possibly already have that stuff and just needed other food for other meals that were not Thanksgiving. My family will start shopping at king soopers the drive across town will be worth it for a store that actually has product and polite employees.

Ordered a gallon of ice cream off of doordash and I took one bite and knew by how disgusting it was that it was expired but little did I know the the expiration date would read March 21st, 2020. Last I checked it was 2024.

Charles is AMAZING! My family had ordered a Thanksgiving meal online. When I went into the store, 7:30am Thanskgiving morning. The woman at the Deli just told me "there are no more orders. I told them to turn off online orders three weeks ago." No offer of a solution, horrible customer service on the morning of Thanksgiving. I asked for a manager and I was introduced to Charles. I explained what happened and Charlea said "let me see what I can do.". A few minutes later he comes back with a cart filled with Thanksgiving dinner fixings. He assembled a family meal for myself and took it to check out. We need more people like Charles. People with empathy, a kind heart and a gentle soul. Thank you Charles. I appreciate you very much!

Deals are always changing and make no sense. You have to spend 50$ to get a deal on sodas but the sodas themselves don't count so what they're really saying is spend 75 since the 50$ doesn't count towards to sodas. Nice guys. I'm going back to king soopers might be all the way across town but atleast they don't have false advertising.

I don’t know her name, but she works at Starbucks and her mom (I guess) runs the deli. They are the only reason you have—for now, at least—retained my business. I came in for Cheap Chicken Monday. Your closer called in and forced a closure. The deli gal that told me all this (different person) was very terse about it. I’m not the only person who was asking about your closure. The daughter called her mom and she offered me a free 8-piece chicken next Monday, 9/20. Prior to today, my grievances included no Kraft Thick and Creamy Mac n Cheese for several months and no longer carrying Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Big Packs (photo included). About a month ago during your re-opening one of the managers that was there was going to try and get them back. I have not seen them. I live a mile from the store and have been coming here for 4 years. I don’t want to have to drive across town to one of the Albertsons for my chicken.

I don't usually shop here, but was in the neighborhood. There was only one line open at 5pm. The guy bagging was coughing so hard there was drool coming from his mouth. He didn't touch his mouth to clean it, it was just hanging there as he coughed. I was completely disgusted. I took over bagging our groceries in the nicest way possible. But come on, he should not be touching people's groceries!! He had the vest like he was a cart pusher. Keep him on that only. 🤢

Extremely rude LAZY and disrespectful employees typical of UNION Safeway stores. 4 visits to this store in one week have resulted in my having to leave the store without making a purchase on 3.Stackers literally blocking the aisles then copping attitudes when asked to excuse passage by a disabled man with a cane.UNION "social hour" is the biggest priority in this store so dont forget to grab a cart from the parking lot BEFORE you go in...or you'll be turning around to go back out to get one! Product markers not even close to where the product is actually is located etcOnce there were 3 Safeways in Cheyenne, now just this one so selections are very limited which could explain the expensive prices and lack of choices.I will NEVER shop at this store again it is an EXTREME INCONVENIENCE even tho it is the only grocery store close.

We normally shop here I like it. 2/11/22 just got 18.99 farmland hams for 1.99 Yahoo! Soda is always a great price! Still a good place to shop! 8/25 22👍😃11/3/22 5/26/23 everything is going fast pop is on sale if you like cans or mini bottles but no full size six pack bottles of regular Pepsi bummer! 10/4/23 Potatoes are better then Walmart right now! 2/15/24 quick trip in and out!

First time shopping this store. Great customer service. We called this morning about the availability of the turkeys and spoke to Brandi. She was so helpful & polite. When we got to the store she helped us get our turkey & a ham. What a great asset to to your store she is. We also encountered John in Produce, Charles in dairy, John in frozen section & Cheryl in the bakery. All wonderfully helpful. William the checker was super helpful as I was having problems with my Safeway app. He gave me all my discounts & told me how to contact the Corp. Office to get it cleared up. I can't say enough good things about this store. Made my day to encounter such a great bunch of employees.

During my recent visit to Safeway, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the calm and hassle-free experience, despite only needing to use their ATM machine. Although my excursion was short-lived, I couldn't help but appreciate the relaxed ambiance that greeted me upon entering the store.The atmosphere at Safeway was refreshingly laid-back, and I immediately felt at ease. The staff members were friendly and approachable, willing to assist if needed, and yet they didn't hover around, allowing me to swiftly accomplish my errand. It's truly a rarity to encounter such a welcoming environment, even for a brief stopover.As I navigated my way to the ATM, I couldn't help but notice the tantalizing aroma wafting from the nearby Starbucks corner. Alas, my caffeine cravings were abruptly subdued when I glanced at the prices, realizing that a sip of that frothy goodness would require me to part with a small fortune. With a heavy heart (and an intact wallet), I decided to forgo the Starbucks indulgence, much to my dismay. Hence, I must reluctantly dock one star from my otherwise impeccable rating.Now, let me emphasize that my experience was far from lackluster. The ease of access to the ATM and its impeccable functionality were commendable. The transaction was smooth as silk, leaving me with ample time to glance at the well-organized aisles, enticing me to explore the full range of products Safeway has to offer in the future.Moreover, I must express my appreciation for the overall cleanliness of the store. It was a breath of fresh air to encounter neatly stocked shelves, devoid of the chaos that sometimes plagues other grocery stores. Kudos to the diligent staff for maintaining such a pristine environment.In conclusion, my visit to Safeway proved to be a delightful and surprisingly enjoyable affair, even though it was a brief pit stop. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and seamless access to the ATM machine left a positive impression on me. If only Starbucks' prices were a bit more forgiving, Safeway would undoubtedly earn a resounding five-star rating from this caffeine-craving reviewer. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend Safeway as a haven for quick errands and a peaceful shopping experience.

I'm a digital deal/weekly ad shopper and one must check the receipt before leaving to make sure all deals/sale prices were discounted appropriately. No rhyme or reason behind glitches. Don't get burned, just goto the customer service desk and they will happily make appropriate adjustments.

Really nice and speedy staff during a busy time of day.We came in for some on-the-go deli chicken for a passenger on our trip that didn't want lunch where the rest of us ate.Then we heard a customer's magic words "Are the pot pies ready?" The hungry passenger loves frozen pot pies.We were informed that there was an unreserved one that we could purchase. My passenger also wanted some salad and asked about each one's ingredients. The deli lady knew the ingredients by heart.That pot pie was apparently fresh made, not frozen, and delicious. The aroma made everyone in the car wish that we hadn't already had lunch so we could have a pot pie.12/10, will probably go back next week to get my own pot pie

Just a 5 dollar bag of potato's. Smell fine look fine. When I peel them they're black inside. Called to say so and I'm supposed to drive 15 miles back. Not allowed to talk to manager. It's 5 bucks but who wants to pay for food you cNt eat

I was just in there Bill at the cash register was great and the lady in the deli that sliced my turkey was awesome! Although I tried to use the self checked it would not let me move the bags once I had them full to my basket and that little bitty area does not hold more than one bag so it was very frustrating I ended up going to Bill at a regular checkout

I use to love this Safeway and now I won’t return. I apologize for being so fickle over Self Check Out. If I have a handful of items I don’t mind. The employees here have a wonderful attitude and are helpful even early in the morning, this is the reason for my rating, but self check out forget it. King Soopers has several self check out lanes as well, but I always wait for a cashier.

Lorrie in the deli is awesome. I come in frazzled, in a rush and needing food to feed my staff! I left with arms full of hot fried chicken and a smile on my face. If I could hire Lorrie to work for me I would! She is professional, knows her job well and delivers customer service that Safeway should be proud of. Every encounter I have with that gal is remarkable. I hope Safeway knows what they have in Lorrie. She is a treasure!
