I placed a curbside pickup at this location. I sat in the car for 45 minutes. I sent the reminder the app allows you to send to the employees. I ended up going inside. No one in the checkout line, and the employee asked for my last name, handed it to me and then walked away. Didn’t apologize, or even tell me they were short or anything. Simply walked away.

Petco is the bait shop. Everythings a minnow, and they bait you into over paying. Aquastop llc on Logan is way better. Adult sized fish for less money, and way better deals on tanks and equipment. Petco has long had a management issue. All of the good fish people that used to work here are long gone.Here is how my tank looks after stocking from aqua stop llc. Buying full grown bristle nose plecos, and large chinese algae eaters at aquastop llc has really made my tank spotless. He has beautiful red snails and lots of really cool mature fish.

Wow. Made the mistake of asking the manager if she could help in aquatics. It turned ugly in a split second. Careful who you approach for help. Have shopped there since they opened their doors. Visited store probably a couple of hundred times. On the fence if I should go back. Good thing there is locally owned Aqua Stop.

There is the cutest Chameleon I wanted to take home. Never really thought about buying one. This little guy followed me around in his cage. The selection of dog and cat products is amazing

They are never stocked with reptile needs like live bugs and when they are 90% of them are dead, and their overall selection of everything is very limited and it seems they really only stock fish stuff regularly, if you actually looking for something id suggest any Ft Collins Pet store. This location is terrible even compared to other Petco locations

Would rate a zero if I could. Dropped a small dog off at 1:05pm for a 1:00pm appt…..2-3 hrs go by. At 4:15pm I walk in to check on her they’re barely starting to groom her. Tell me another hour……so I leave I wait in my truck. We live far out of town so I’m stuck in the parking lot. I go in at 5:15pm she’s still on the table…….not done but they are happy to hand me the bill $83! At 5:48pm I get a call my dog is finally done! Almost 5 hrs! No teeth brushing although it was included in the $83! Rip off. And the salon workers didn’t care why would they there’ll be some other poor sap right behind me and the cycle will continue! Don’t come here there are choices in fact several other choices and it’s well worth it to look elsewhere. Oh and when I finally went to get our dog she hadn’t been brushed or rinsed or anything and so guess what she shook in my truck and oh man the hair flew all over! All over me, my shirt and my truck. This place is a fat zero please don’t do it! We’ve spent hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars over many years and many dogs! I am done with Petco Grooming! Horrible experience today thanks for nothing!

Plenty of variety in merchandise, friendly, helpful staff. Only thing we didn't like was there were mouse droppings on the kennel pads. Not sure if they had some mice escape or if they had an infestation.

This store needs to be evaluated, both staff wise and practice wise, ive walked in with items on the floor, and other items on carts in every aisle, I get that they might be understaffed, but I work retail, bringing carts out to the floor that need to be worked to just leave them in your customers way before you get to stocking it is ridiculous, leave the carts off to the side and work it when you have time, not leave it in customers way. The aquatics department has gotten slightly better, but ive still walked out lately without any service cause there's a girl at the front register, but not a single other soul to be found, honestly at this point they should close doen, get their staffing up, then reopen, cause one person at a register and one other person in grooming during the evening rush isn't gonna cut it yall, and if you have staff already this is a call to petco corporate to wake up, half the time no one except 1-2 newbies is in store, ive gone in a few days all in a row and a manager is never around, but then again at other times I've come in earlier and they actually have people working the stores, but you gotta have reliable staffing, otherwise I highly recommend they close doors until they actually get a crew hired rather than continue to drive their reputation Into the ground with one or two barely managing things, and yes, petco, SHUT YOUR DOORS AND WORK ON GETTING MORE WORKERS HIRED OR TRANSFERRED OVER, we arent the biggest town, and with a local shop(s) popping up, you keep doing this, you won't have a business in cheyenne once the local shops start showing they can do what you offer for cheaper and less hassle, hate to say it but our petco is where petcos get their 'animal abuse/neglect' reputation from, not accusing them 9f doing it on purpose if course, but you try to take care of a large amount of critters eith only 1-2 people to do it at the end of the night, and they have to be gone by a certain time, so not everything gets done, but I'm assuming that happens cause I've seen what results the next morning, but I cant be sure, there is for sure some good things about this place, but good can be overshadowed by the same amount of bad, example (petco may have a reliable supply of dog, reptile, bird, and fish food, but you can't buy it if it's not on the shelf or no one is there to actually help you

Went to Petco this Friday evening and there was a couple groups of people waiting to get fish. The tall older guy who is apparently the manager sees us waiting and says “no one is working over here. Let me see if I can get someone to help you” he then helps 2 other groups of people, turns all the lights on the tanks off and walks away. We couldn’t track him down after he walked off and the lady at the register said she was brand new and to come beck and Delaney would help us with whatever we needed. Waste of a drive there!

Was pretty bummed with our $130 grooming, will give credit where credit is due, they did his nails well and brushed his teeth well, which is odd they would do that well and be lackluster elsewhere, but that was it.Our dog was absolutely soaked upon pick up, DECEMBER 20th, to head outside and shivered the whole way home, there was no blow out or shedding or combing after bath, but there was was a pound of dog hair in the checkout line while we payed just from him shaking once.Ultimately did not expect to pick up a soaking wet dog after spending well over a hundred dollars for the holiday special and having to brush him at home anyway again. (And a half hearted we are out of bandanas and didn’t get one after paying for it) but that’s absolutely minor and the least of the concerns.

We didn't take our guy in today we just rescued him etc but we plan to very soon, the cashiers and associates were helpful in trying to locate his dog food, even with no luck she said she'd look into getting it at the store super awesome! They're currently doing a buy 4 get 1 free on certain brands not limited to just toys or accessories or anything like that literally almost anything. Also don't forget about the petco app! We love this place and hope our buddy Ranger gets to experience all the fun soon. ❤️ 💙

I went to Petco to return items to Amazon. Everyone was cordial in the store but they are grossly understaffed. They had one check out person with as many as nine people in line waiting. That is a sad situation and reflects on the business poorly. It may have been management's problem but more likely was just the way things are in this economy and job market today.

Pretty over priced. They had Betas (fish) out on display and several of them were dead. I informed the employee working with the fish and he stated he knew about it. They wanted $26 for one fish.

This store seems to struggle. When you visit the stores website, the stock shown there does not necessarily reflect what actually exists in the store. It's clear that the employees are a bit unplugged from the day to day operations.

Go in for meal worms psy 20 bucks for a LG container. Their dead when I get home. Didn't give me a receipt so I couldn't trade. Terrible customer service. Lazy people.

Love our local petco. It's where we go for all our animals needs. Including our lizard, fish guinea pigs, cats and dogs. They always have what we need.

My daughters parakeets passed away pretty quickly. We aren't sure how or why. Both of the managers and two of the cashiers treated her with extreme kindness. I love Petco, but even more so now. Thank you every one that helped.

Took my pup to the groomers here for his first groom. Let me tell you what an amazing experience it was! Alex did amazing with my pup and she said he did great for his first time! He came out smelling so good and Alex even gave him a little treat! 😁 Will definitely be coming here again!

We were loyal customers until a Petco employee put her hands on my minor son.....the most unprofessional business i have ever seen....and their reptiles never seem to make it past a few months, maybe a year if your lucky, and the management doesnt seem to care what so ever....save yourself time and take your business to someone who DESERVES it, your corporate offices should be ashamed and embarrassed

This is one of the worst kept, disheveled, poorly stocked, & dirty Petco's I've ever been in. Shelves are disorganized, floor is unswept, product is in the wrong spot or laying on the floor & under shelving. Obviously the employees don't care because management doesn't care.

Worst pet store I’ve been to. Staff is untrained and uncaring. They knowingly sell animals that are sick and try to down play why they have them quarantined as food aggression issues. Thanks to this store selling ferrets that are sick, I’ve now lost one of my pets. Would have been awesome if the manager that sold her to me disclosed that she was ill. Instead I unknowingly brought in a virus that spread to the rest of my business. This is something that is unacceptable and wrong. Manager, when confronted, tried to claim they didn’t know she was sick. His snapping response was that if one of them noticed they would have told me. Day of buying he stated one of the three was separated because they weren’t eating, trying to blame food aggression. This is a clear lie. Now this manager also claimed she was a male despite her clearing having the wrong genitalia for that assessment. Last time I checked males don’t have vulvas. Within hour of getting my new friend home she was showing clear signs of early recovery from ece. By the time I saw this it was too late, it had already contaminated the room. I hold this manager personally responsible for what has happened. If he had just been honest I’d still have my family.

The last three times I've been to this store I have walked out without making a purchase. They seem to be so short staffed that it is virtually impossible to find any help. I usually end up driving to PetSmart in Fort Collins, just to get what I would have bought at Petco in Cheyenne.
