I absolutely loved spending the weekend here! While there's wifi and some cell service at the main lodge, there isn't at the individual cabins. And honestly I loved that. It's a great chance to get unplugged from the world. The cabins themselves were great: comfortable beds, fully furnished kitchen and living room, great views, clean, and well-maintained. The surrounding area was just incredible. The stars at night went on forever, and forest was beautiful and peaceful.I was up there for a wedding workshop, and it's the perfect venue for a small wedding or elopement. It's got a cozy, rustic feel to it that's perfect for romantics and adventurers that don't need huge wedding galas. It's intimate and warm.I'd highly recommend them for retreats, small weddings, or just a weekend away from the city!

Stayed here several nights over the past few years. Definitely a rustic experience but nothing too crazy. Stayed in Cabin 5 which had bunkbeds for our kids, a nice queen size bed and the potential of sleeping on a futon as well. The cabin had a built in bathroom, kitchen and a nice gas stove for heating. Our kids loved it. The entire site is a great place to have our church college group come and do a retreat. Didn't have T-Mobile cell phone coverage while there which was also good in my experience but something to note.

We enjoyed our stay. It's a rustic cabin experience. The owners are friendly. We saw a yearling moose and young bucks (deer) just steps away from the cabin porch. This is very near some truly gorgeous scenery and hiking trails.

This lodge was a phenomenal experience during the winter season. My family enjoyed the cabin, the snowy grounds, the lodge, and untamed beauty. Ben and his family offered us the best hospitality imaginable. It is actually at a higher elevation than the ski area so it is great for snow sports.

It is an amazing place. The cabins are rustic and feel like home. The cabin here really doesn't matter even though it is pretty nice. The scenery is amazing. You will often spot either elk or moose and can catch trout in the stream. Also an awesome drive up to the lodge.

Snowy Mountain Lodge was an exceptional experience. Stayed here for a snowmobiling trip for a weekend and COULD NOT have been more impressed by Ben and his hospitality. Side note- call your wife to check in.. but If you forget and she calls the lodge to check on you, Been will hop on a sled at 9:30 PM and ride to your cabin with a smile on his face to let you know you're in the dog house if you don't go call back!This lodge gave fantastic access to the Medicine Bow snowmobile trails and close enough to Centennial to grab a great meal at "the Friendly Store" or to Laramie if you break a sled or need to visit urgent care after "Sendin' it" off a cliff.All in all Snowy Mountain Lodge was the perfect home base for our trip with modest but more than sufficient awesome log cabins and one of the friendliest people I've ever come across in our smiling bearded host.

Snowy Mountain Lodge was amazing. They were very accommodating for the wedding. The cabins left a bit to be desired. Power was out one of the night. Cabin wasn't very clean. Signs weren't very helpful and it was hard to locate which cabin to go to or where to take extra trash.
