Purchased lights online. At least 2 of them were on backorder. Went to Menards to cancel the order, get a refund, and purchase different lights. Went to customer service and had contact with 2 people. One of them said I needed to go all the way to pickup at the back of the store. The guy there started to process my request, but he said he didn't know how to handle it. He sent me to another person who didn't know exactly how to do it but said they should have helped me at customer service. He stopped another employee who escorted me back to customer service, where the same person I saw in the first place processed my refund. REALLY??? Seems ridiculous to get all that runaround. I'll think twice about ever ordering online again😡

Jeremy, in the cabinets department, is a true professional. He is very knowledgeable about all of their cabinetry, about what will work and what won't work, about using the computer program to design kitchens, and every other aspect of buying and installing cabinets. He is very friendly and personable. Menard's has a true jewel of an employee in him.

Great customer service from Levi! Excellent communication and effort to get missing parts for metal roofing found and shipped out. Very positive experience vs other construction big box stores. Wish Menards would expand further west!

Menards is really great, because you can get almost anything here, from hardware, tools and lumber to greeting cards and gifts, furniture, dishes, and even many groceries. Their hours recently changed and they are still great.... However, this was disappointing to learn upon arriving at 9:05 pm ( 55 minutes before closing ), only to discover they now close an hour earlier - at 9... 🤓 Guess I need to remember ALL the parts instead of going back at 9 pm for longer screws LOL 🤷‍♀️

Bought a chandelier. Didn’t work for what we needed. Tried to return with email receipt and they wanted to give me $50 less than what I purchased it for. Will never shop Menards again!!

We love Menard's. The prices and quality are much better than other similar stores. We recently bought stair stringers here and there were priced at about $40 a piece, whereas they were over $100 at Home Depot for the exact same thing.

We had a very time consuming challenging situation trying to order something we really needed. Andrew at the building materials desk was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful getting us what we needed. This has been our experience with him several times. A family member was double charged for a bag of topsoil, and we came to get it fixed. Instead of fixing it right away, they sent a worker to go COUNT 149 bags of topsoil to verify his story. The bag was worth less than $3. And they left us waiting at the counter for 50 minutes so they could count each bag. We’ll take our money elsewhere.

Disappointed with the lack of customer service in the appliance department. Very unprofessional and frankly lost a $2,000.00 (minimum) sale from us today. The associate, Jeremy, in the appliance department laughed at questions I had about refrigerators and seemed more interested in talking to other employees than helping customers today. Definitely go see Nancy at Home Depot if you want to work with someone who is friendly and shows interest in helping you purchase appliances. I’ll be taking my business to Home Depot.

Bought 10 bags of wood pellets. Am a slight female, crippled with arthritis but cashier directed me to the pile of wood pellets and so helpfully directed me to the carts where I could grab one and load myself.Went up to customer service informing them I needed to move my truck closer if I wasn't going to get any help on load out because it's snowy and I wasn't going to try to push this several hundred pound cart through the snow by myself. They just blinked at me and so politely offered to watch my cart.Manager was among the helpful customer service desk. Not happy and won't be back!

This is what our brand new stairs look like after having them deliver a fridge we bought. When we beg to have them replaced, the Assistant General Manager Jim told us no and ended the conversation. So, we are stuck with replacing a THOUSAND dollars worth of flooring. Save yourself from all of this, and go with a different store.

They provided me amazing service and were very friendly. I purchased a few items from them as my usual store was out of stock of some of my items. The staff was so much kinder, very respectful, very helpful. I can't rave enough! I'll be returning to this location for my home needs from now on. Their staff and store far outweigh how I was treated and what I received at their competitor just down the road.

Purchased Menards brand Washing Machine and had nothing but trouble. Before running into trouble also purchased Menards Brand Dishwasher. Both appliances flooded my home. Was offered trade out on the washer and told to call warranty center on Dishwasher after 30 days. Appliance Department is absolutely unhelpful and could care less.

I went to buy 4x6 PT posts for a project. After a multi hour drive to get to the store, I "ordered" the lumber at the building materials counter, paid for it at the front cashier, then drove around to pick up the lunber. NOT ONE of the 4x6 posts in stock were straight enough to use. They were all warped and unusable. I ended up getting a full refund for the order, but now am out the gasoline to go there and I have to "make do" with other lumber of other sizes from another store. The staff at the store was pleasant enough, but would benefit from listening more closely before answering questions. This was my first time at Menards and it will be unlikely I will return.

The prices are good and they have the 11% mail in rebates on occasions as well. This is really my favorite store in town, we go here at least several times a month and a lot of the time its several times a week. The employees are great and always nice but it will take a bit of time if you need to pick up stuff in the back lot.

Menards has everything you need from decorative decor to parts for home renovation. I needed to replace a plumbing component and Jed went above and beyond to help me find the right piece. Every time I go into this store the employees are so helpful. This is one of my go to places for all things DIY!

I am extraordinarily dissatisfied with the Store. I have to search for help all of the time. Some individuals graciously help you, while others say they are busy and are standing around. You ask if they can at least call someone. Again some will or you continue your search.The GM, this particular time, was very aloof and made you feel like you are wasting their time and do not believe it.I am a very good person who has never felt the need to post anything unless it was a positive review.

Do not buy a building package from this company!!!! They will short you large parts of your order and be horrible to deal with about it, but only after they get your money.We purchased a barn package from Menards early in 2021 and before we paid for it everyone was helpful and seemed to know what they were doing. After we paid it was a complete 180.-We received almost 0 communication about when our order had actually showed up.-Twice I called to find out and was told by several staff that they had NO RECORED OF OUR BARN!-We are missing 20 parts of out barn and counting! This includes the trusses that they never bothered to deliver until I had called 3 times!-They will sell you $1000.00+ in materials that you do not need.-After countless calls and trips to the store about all of the issues we are still having issues with them getting us what we paid for. Including the ridge cap for the top of the roof!

I used to go here often as the lighting in the store is much better than Home Depot and their selection was similar. As soon as the pandemic hit they totally mismanaged their customer service. Requiring masks, sure, but requiring customers to purchase masks if they don’t have them is bad business. Also, not being able to take kids into the store during a long period of time in 2020 was the least educated thing I saw in a long time. They feel no remorse for the way they acted. I’ll never go here again. Home Depot has my business.

Tyler in the hardware department was amazing! My kiddo and I brought his bike in to find a replacement nut and washer for his front wheel. We were having a heck of a time figuring out the correct size and threading. He helped us figure out what we needed and got the bike back up and running. I really appreciated his help!!

Sean and two other men (I’m not sure if their names) went above and beyond to assist us in getting a large item off the shelf. They were friendly and extremely helpful; their customer service was truly awesome. Unfortunately, upon taking the item to checkout in the garden center, the teller was extremely rude. She told us that if we wanted the item kept until we got back with the truck that we would be responsible for transporting the item into the back AND finding someone there to asssist us. She even refused to call for an associate to help transport the item and would not communicate with them to discuss the situation.The men working the floor were amazing, but the woman at the register lost a big purchase.
