We only had dinner. We were able to be seated about 3 minutes to closing. They were kind enough to seat us. The food was incredible. We actually went back the following day and again not disappointed.I would recommend the Bull Moose to anyone.

Stayed here while on a motorcycle trip with my friend. The rooms were okay and the service was a bit slow but everyone was really friendly.The dinner was absolutely fantastic! Probably the best prime rib I ever had and the brisket cheesy fries were phenomenal.Things got really fun after in the saloon shooting pool, meeting new people, and blasting out some karaoke!Definitely a fun stop

Came here on a family vacation with my interacial family...went to have a beer at the bar to see what the locals were like...i swear to god they imedietly told me that they dont like n××××× ..i couldent belive they were bold enough to say this to my face knowing my wife was african american and my kid as well....but then again i was outnumberd 20 to 1

Quick road trip from IF for lunch in Alpine. The drive is beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly. She proudly wore a legalize Marijuana dress as part of her Halloween costume. This is a small town western style sports pub. They usually have a game on. They have a full bar and consistently good food. We ordered bloody Mary's, a French Dip sandwich and sliders. Our total was $77 with a 20% gratuity. The hamburger sliders were really good. The French Dip DOES NOT COME WITH SWISS. I thought it was accidentally left off. When I asked for Swiss I was told it doesn't come with "it but people make that mistake all the time. " 🤔. She took it back and added swiss cheese. I don't know if I paid extra as I wasn't given an itemized receipt with the check. It was delicious with the cheese. Now. The fries! The fries were the best damn fries I have ever had. They had an amazing texture of crisp outside tender inside and were seasoned perfectly. I will drive back 60 mile just for those.

Visited the Bull Moose Bar for dinner and enjoyed a great meal. The pulled pork was very moist and tasty. The meal was large enough to split between two people. The atmosphere was definitely mountain with antlers and carvings around the room. Furniture was mostly wooden, rustic American ( similar to a log house or lodge ). The service was good and everything was very clean including the restrooms. The menu provides a wide variety of entries from burgers to fish sandwiches, salads to brisket and ribs. Entertainment is also provided a couple nights. ENJOY

We stopped in here on our way back up to Canada convenient place. The saloon has fantastic food. Seems like it’s a place where some of the locals hang out. Everyone is super friendly highly recommend anybody driving through here too, at the very least stop at the saloon, and grab some food, my husband had the ribeye steak I had the prime rib was absolutely amazing. Our server Theresea was great. Super friendly, and great service!For the motel the rooms are super simple, clean and have a coffee pot if you’re looking for a quiet place however, to say this is not it! The saloon has an event going on every night so it makes for a very loud parking lot in front of the motel Late into the night and then early in the morning people are coming and going, but still would definitely stay here againFood & drinks: Great food and drink selection at the saloon

Stood at the “wait to be seated” sign for 15 minutes before finally leaving. There were many tables available, and it wasn’t particularly busy on a Wednesday night.Two different waitresses made eye contact with us and just ignored us. The bartender even brushed passed us and rudely exclaimed “exCUSE you”.If you’re thinking of going here - don’t. Walk down the road to Grey’s.

Nobody cleaned our room yesterday. All the garbage cans were full, even though, we took anything larger to the dumpster. I guess that was because we were checked in on the computer for only one day, although we checked in for two and payed in advance for two. Last night we returned after 11 after visiting the National parks. We were locked out of our room. As you know, it took awhile to let us in. In the meantime, my son and I stayed outside our room—close— as there were two dogs in a truck barking and growling ferociously. Also, the bedspread and the shams are disgusting, I wiped the spread and it was greasy—body oil grime. Most places fold the blanket or comforter in another sheet or lightweight cover if they don’t plan on laundering regularly. You are not a bargain rate establishment. Why are your services and facilities mentioned and many not mentioned so bad? Stick on vinyl floors that are warped. I didn’t take a lot of pictures, but the one picture shows the pill and stick floors and my dog crate that is not a fridge. Also, the saloon is a Bar Rescue. All the employees had been drinking, and they loudly said that the manager had left without paying his tab. All the patrons were men with a few exceptions of a couple of women who left right away. Everybody was confused and didn’t know what was going on. They quoted one price on the phone and switched it when I got to the hotel. I’m 64 years old I know how to book a hotel with a pet. since it’s pretty much the only thing going in Alpine until they build the new hotel I would stay away from Alpine all together unless you have something to do their specifically. Bring a tent..Bull MooseRooms: Loud and dirty. Everything is made of hollow wood, so you hear everything I had to go get towels, so I got to experience the bar at the desk is in the bar.Safety: There is a saloon,which I hear is nice; however, the bar guest left their dogs in the truck, and when I pass by my growled and barked viciously.

My husband and I ate dinner here tonight!I had prime rib that was out of this world delicious and worth every penny $34.00! Came with loaded mash potatoes and sweet corn! A+++My husband had a bacon cheese burger that I gave him “grief” about ordering…but he said, it was absolutely delicious as well!We will certainly be back!!Food & drinks: We both had beer on tap and they were good.Had a young waitress that was attentive and informative!

One room, non-smoking 200$I only have one complaint. The toilet in room 202 has no pressure. It wouldn’t flush. We felt awful leaving with a mess in the toilet but there was no plunger so 🤷🏼‍♀️. (I got to laugh at my husband so that was 5 stars.)The room was dated but who cares when the beds are so soft. (They move and my kid decided to push his right next to ours and make a super king so we could all share. Like okay, whatever, just put it back in the morning.)And the staff, nothing but love for the woman who checked us in.We got stuck in a massive traffic jam on the road between Jackson WY, and Alpine. (89) I called to explain we were trapped and she was super understanding about our super late check in. (She even remembered that I had called, and had our stuff ready for us when we arrived.)

Awful experience. 6 of us stood by the bar for over 15 minutes while others walked right up and got served before us. Upon waiting, the bartender bumped into my wife while walking past and began to cuss at her under her breath to others at the bar. The most shockingly unprofessional customer service we have ever received. There were SEVERAL other customers that she was rude to, even telling us “good luck” as they walked away. If the lodge service is anything like the bar service..”good luck”. I would drive 100 miles out of the way to avoid this place.

My wife and I stopped here for one night on a motorcycle trip.Check in was quick and easy. As soon as we arrived we decided to get a beer at the saloon, the server was quick and very nice, we sat out on the patio to drink our brews, which was icy cold local brews, so refreshing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Anyway we then ordered food, again quick friendly service! The burgers were enormous, juicy and delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The room was pretty clean, it was definitely getting old and tired, but not too bad. Everything worked as it should Although We did wish that there was a deadbolt on the door or at least a door chain.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The service and the food made up for what the room lacked, still five star rating, and I would still recommend it to a friend.

Between the extra loud head banger music and the crazy cackling drunk gal at the bar (Lord help us if she is driving), this place is pretty awful. You have to walk past ten guys outside smoking at the front door just to get in. No wonder the place is empty. To make matters worse, I ordered the smoked prime rib chili and there was LITERALLY NOT ONE PIECE OF MEAT IN IT! The waitress was super good though

Dinner at the Bull Moose is exceptionally good. We were a party of four in the back room of the restaurant because there was an entertainer in the front room and we wanted to talk. Our server was very friendly and efficient and our food was delicious. We shared the short ribs nachos appetizer and then two of us had the Bangkok Salmon and one had the Alpine Salmon and all were delicious. The dinner-sized Greek Salad was also very good. Wine was decent and reasonably priced by the glass (no wine list). And the entertainer was very good as well, and easy to talk over. We will be back!

We walked in around 6:30 p.m. on 9.18.2023 and went straight to the bar and waited 15 minutes and ended up leaving because the bar tender totally ignored us. She was also extremely rude to the other people sitting at the bar. Hands down the rudest bar tender I have ever come across! Don’t ever go here! I have been to this place a lot in the past and will never return.

We have always come here for the burgers because they were the best in town. Today, we had the worst burgers we've ever had, so I asked the waitress if they changed their burgers. She said no. I don't know what changed, but we wouldn't recommend the burgers!! They were tasteless and overcooked. 🤮 We won't ever come back. We are so bummed!!

What an incredible member of the team there. The other staff we interacted with were wonderful as well. We will definitely go back just because the service was so good 👍

I was not able to stay, because I was just there to order food.I’ll order the Greek salad.It was $18 and so I thought OK this will be great!After waiting 35 minutes my salad finally came out and it was on a plate and I had told her I wanted it to go but no big deal that’s fine.My salad was huge but the problem was is that was huge with lettuce and only three olives five tomatoes and probably six or seven cucumbers!Yes it is very clean very organized and the bathrooms were excellent as far as cleanliness.But still doesn’t help my salad was sauce about to Lettuce!Never again!!!The prices are quite high but I do understand that we are in a recession.

I am only reviewing the restaurant since I haven't stayed here. The food was really good and there was something for all our picky eaters. The only bad thing I can say is the music was way, way too loud and we like music. We finally had to move into another area so we could talk to each other.

We had a great night at this place. The room was the cleanest room I ever seen. I think we were the first to use it. We had the meatloaf dinner at the saloon. It was awesome. I loved everything about this place. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, they even have a liquor store for supplies. I would definitely recommend the Bull Moose & Saloon.
