Family home farm. Great homemade ice cream. Love all the animals we got to see. Love the dogs, they love to play fetch with the ball. Really enjoy doing that with him. The owner was very friendly. Offer to help if we needed anything. Beautiful view. Will stay there again if we come this way.

Omg the best ice cream!!! Also great chocolate milk and the yogurt is so creamy and like whipped. You won’t regret a stop here. I love seeing these places and they are disappearing.

Great dairy farm with the freshest and best ice cream you could try. You pull up to the farm and they had baby cows that you could pet, baby pigs were there as well. I’m sure you could pet them but we were ok not to.The retail store is great. It has a small selection of fresh dairy products, Farm Fresh Ice Cream, and an employee who was beyond friendly.My wife and I each got a scoop of ice cream (hint you don’t need to get two scoops of ice cream to have two different flavors. You can simply split one scoop into two flavors) The freshness and richness of the ice cream easily made it the best I have ever had. It was so rich and creamy I wasn’t able to finish it all.If you are passing through the area this is worth the stop. I will be going there the next time we pass through.

Heed the signs along the roads leading to this delicious ice cream and dairy market. Hard to get fresher than looking at the dairy cows when entering the shop!Lots of interesting and scrumptious flavors. So glad we stopped!

We stay here for one night. Those farm animals are very interesting. Before the sunset, my children even saw two sheep with black dots leading all those other white sheep line-up behind them and walked back to their pen!

Grass-fed dairy. Raw milk, cream, chocolate milk, yogurt, ice cream, eggs, cheese, cheese curd, quail eggs. I get all my dairy and eggs here. If you are used to city prices, you will be thrilled over these prices. They also have grass- fed beef by the pound.They do hand scooped ice cream in the summer, pre-handpacked quarts and half gallon containers through the winter. Decent variety of flavors for in-house produced.I always take guests here.Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.At bar seating, but new construction suggests they are working on more.

We stayed at Shumway Farms in our fifth wheel through our Harvest Hosts membership and everyone we met at the farm was so kind. The kids got to help feed the calves with bottles and the ice cream was so, so good. This was my first time having raw milk and we bought a bunch of fresh eggs, ice cream, chocolate and whole milk and cream for the camping trip we had ahead of us. It was all so delicious and reasonably priced. The kids said it’s the best chocolate milk they’ve ever had. Hoping we can find a place to get raw milk products in Colorado.The piglets were adorable and the farm dogs were super sweet and it was fun to watch them try and herd the kids. Tempting to get one for our house! All in all, I can’t imagine it’s easy to have a bunch of strangers poking around in farm operations and Jody couldn’t have been nicer about answering our questions and letting the kiddos be involved. We had to drag them away from calf feeding the morning we left and I felt like Jody and Max would have let them help all morning. It truly made their week. I hope we can visit again someday. This place was lit! A little off the road and seems awkward driving in but they have amazing hard scoop farm fresh ice cream. We have tried ice cream all over the country and this is certainly at the top of the list. Rich, creamy, and delicious. We grabbed some chocolate milk too and are excited to try it. Making this a regular stop on the way to Jackson from now on! Yum!!

Wonderful, friendly Harvest Host location. Peaceful family run farm. The best yogurt you'll ever eat is made and sold their little country store along with cheese, raw milk, ice cream and other dairy items. They sell beef as well. The Shumway family is warm and welcoming. Loved hearing and seeing the pigs and cows. Glad we found this gem.

Joseph and Jody were so kind and responsive and made us feel right at home with their laid back demeanor. We will be back for sure, I'm already craving more ice cream! Thank you for having us!

We found this place by accident on a family road trip out west. The kids loved the ice cream and I thoroughly enjoyed the maple skyr. It is a great place with beautiful views and great tasting products. I recommend everyone make a stop at this farm.

This is such a wonderful place to visit! They're homemade ice cream is delicious and so is there yogurt. They have a new building where you can sit down and eat and even have a little play area for the kids. Beautiful clean and very nice service.

Great stop on our way to Yellowstone. The ice cream was delicious and the scoops are huge. We also bought a couple of rib eye steaks that we cooked at our campsite that night. Highly recommend!

They were remodeling their shop when I was there, and it looks like they are making it a lot nicer. The ice cream is made fresh and really good. Would definitely recommend stopping in and grabbing a pint or two.

The ice cream here is phenomenal!! Definitely worth stopping if you are on your way past. Bypass the single servings and just buy yourself a pint or quart - more bang for your buck and you’ll enjoy every bite.

You can tell the ingredients are quality, but the ice cream was very disappointing. I bought a quart of cookie dough ice cream to take home... And it only had one piece of cookie dough in the whole container. More efforts need to be made to ensure consistency for small batches.

We were touring thru parts of CO & UT on our way to Yellowstone. We saw a sign for Ice Cream--5 miles on US 89 north, then a sign for Ice Cream--1 mile. We checked it out at 10.30 AM. Ice cream was great! They have yogurt & other goodies. Truly farm-to-mouth, not farm-to-table! You must stop & get treats! Farm store is diagonally behind their roadside house.

We stopped on our way to periodic springs bc we saw the ice cream signs. Such a fantastic decision! Tried the Holstein ice cream (coconut ice cream with almonds abs chocolate). It was amazing! We were so impressed that we bought dried ice, emptied our cooler of lunch stuff and filled it up with several different ice cream flavors to take home!We also tried the lemon Icelandic yogurt. Never had that before. It is very yummy!The farm shop is just a little building. After you turn into the farm drive a couple hundred feet and it’s on the right side. Thanks for the delicious experience!
