Is it possible to get excited about a grocery store? Well I'm an old guy, I travel the country and go in a lot of grocery stores, and I just learned that the answer is, yes! What a beautiful store. I had a meal with two salad sides that's probably the best meal I've had in many many months. Very reasonably priced. And I needed help with something and the manager just couldn't have been nicer. Thank you. Oh, and employee owned. Every business should be employee owned! Well done. Thank you. James

Your prices are ridiculous. But we don't have a choice. We either shop at Afton, Thayne, or Alpine so you got us. Not a lot of variety .

We went and got groceries there, got home, and found out that we forgot our deli items. We called and were told they took the items we forgot back to deli, and we headed there to get it. When we got there and asked to get our chicken back that we forgot, the young teen we talked to went over to another one of the deli workers, and started laughing for a good 30 seconds. He then went to the back and grabbed half of the chicken we originally ordered, and said" you guys took too long to get here, so we threw the other chicken away." (Mind you, we only took about 10 minutes tops to get there) We got the other bag of chicken from them and went up front to customer service ( which we received great customer service from) and asked for a refund for the chicken they threw away. I looked at the bag of chicken they gave me back, and realized it was covered in some dirty, slimy stuff. Assuming that it was also thrown in the garbage, we asked for a refund for thar item as well. I went back to the deli and confronted one of the workers asking if the bag of chicken they gave back to us was also thrown away. She laughed, and pointed at the other teenage deli worker, and said, he threw it away. Now looking back, I'm pretty sure that's what the deli worker that retrieved our chicken from the garbage went and laughed about with deli worker #2. Horrible customer service from deli, as well as horrible integrity. They violated food health code severely!! Extremely enraged about this!

Very nice, clean and large with plenty of choices. I was surprised to find this hidden little gem in such a small town. The grocery store combines the newest tech with an abundance of fresh, innovative foods and meal choices to satisfy literally any craving.I especially love the variety of delicious lunch/dinner items like the freshly made sushi, Asian buffet, the made in-store tortillas are amazing and they also have a popcorn stop with at least a dozen different fkavors that are also made in-house. The deli is a step above any I've ever seen, with the typical fried chicken and potato salad options, but they'll also make you a sandwhich right there anyway you want it while cutting the cheese and deli meats as you order. Back by the butcher they will let you pick your meat choice and prepare it in-house on a grill they have where you can watch them cook it to your liking. There's also a soup and salad bar type thing and I won't even get into the yummy bakery items! I could spend hours enjoying the innovative amenities along with the abundance of creative options and new possibilities that this store has to offer!!

This is a very a nice grocery store and had anything that we could have needed. It has the feel of a bigger city grocery store which for locals could be a major negative issue. However for those passing through, there is an almost complete selection of items for almost every pallet.

Prices keep going higher and higher. Okay in a pinch but I recommend shopping out of town to save money. I watched a worker putting deli cookies out, drop them in the bottom of the basket, put them back in the package and out on the shelf. Disgusting

Solid quality. Good prices. Kind staff. No complaints!!Also their deli section is so good! If you haven’t tried a brisket sandwich on their ciabatta roll, you’re missing out!!! Great value for seven or eight bucks and filling if you load it with toppings. Thank you to the bakers and the deli staff for always being kind and patient.

Clean well stocked store nice fresh bakery and homemade tortillas.good prices and friendly staff.On a final note I was in today and bought 131.00+ groceries and had my own shopping bag which AFER I UNLOADED my cart I handed my bag to the sacking boy. He tried to put heavy items on top of crushable items. I ended up sacking my own groceries putting heavy items in the bottom of the bag and crushable items like bread and crackers on top. This young man went to the service desk area where I heard him complaining about me. I generally have tolerance for these people but I've had it with Broulims in the valley and except for emergency reasons I have spent my last important food dollar in any store. 11.99 for skirt stek, no Reeds dairy cream ( even though it is found in Alpine)...the list goes on. I will drive to Jackson to Smiths or Idaho Falls to Walmart Costco Fred Meyer before getting groceries there again. Prices are too high and my money and how I spend important yo my family. If lazy or untrained staff had yo pay lackadaisical actions perhaps they'd be more respectful and careful. My family works hard for our money

Great selection of standard grocer goods and basic home necessities. Preprepared foods are great as well, I recommend checking their "Asian" (dominantly Chinese-American) styled cuisine, as an Asian myself.

Visiting from Phoenix. First time inside store since the remodel. Outstanding transformation! Store is clean, organized, very well-stocked, very well laid out and a huge variety of brands, local and national. I cannot believe there is such a nice grocery store in such a small town. Good-looking produce, a little pricey for the things that I buy but nevertheless impressive. Some prices on a few things were even cheaper than big box grocery stores. The sushi was fantastic, better than many restaurants in fact. Overall good pricing all things considered. Very friendly and helpful employees.

Update: I like the new deli area and the variety the store has been able to carry.Old review: Once construction is over, I'll probably change this rating. The staff is friendly overall but not many come up to ask if you need help finding things. I think this would be nice, especially with the new addition and trying to figure out where everything is now located. It's looking nice though!

This store has been good through the decades. They have done a good job with both current and past owners to provide quality services in a small town. The new services provided are awesome. The food options make for a great lunch and the produce section has grown. The bakery is quite extensive as well. Very pleased!!!

Tony in the Deli and his crew are amazing! They prepare delicious and fresh food daily! They also consistently give me outstanding service! They always are attentive to what I need! I live in Utah and see my kids often in Star Valley! I have been to tons of grocery stores and there's is among the best service I ever get! Thank you for being awesome and the great job that you do! Each of you deserve a raise for your hard work and outstanding performance!!!!!!!

Very nice supermarket with decent fresh veggies, meat bakery, sushi stand and other features found in most good stores. Fast check out and enough help around if question or issues. Plenty of parking. Also has small liquor store with just the basics.

Clean and well stocked facility. For the size is the town they had a surprisingly large variety of items for sale. They had sushi packs, a nice deli, all the fresh produce you could want. Of course they also have all of the other items you'd expect at a grocery store.

Amazing place, good prices and more stuff than you'd think a small town would have. They have a little deby's stand, a grilling station to cook meats you buy, a place to sit and relax for a bit, and the best crab salad I've ever had! I've been coming here every year for my family reunion and this is the go to store for us.
