Needed a gas line for our stove, Dale in plumbing department was great , helped me out and knew what he was talking about, Even took time out to clean the threads on my old fittings, It’s a pleasure going there and getting help from Dale , he went way above to help me today. Sure hope they appreciate him , and keep him there!!!!

I really like this Ace Hardware / Dollar Store combo. It is always clean, well stocked and the staff is helpful. I had some keys made and got some good deals on post Christmas items.

Very disappointed in the quality of floor sander we rented. Rented from same place last year and all worked fine. This time it spewed sawdust every where (but hardly anything collected into the suction bag) and the Velcro pad holder wouldn’t stay on. Basically told us that’s how they work. Well a year ago it worked much better. We’re now stuck going over everything by hand. Don’t rent it if it’s not working right.

I went to get a bunch of items for a project and brought my 2 kids. We had a wonderful time which isn't always the norm when shopping with kids. The employees were extremely helpful! One even gave my kids some free keys to keep them occupied for a while. Wide selection but I'll come back because of how kind, thoughtful, and helpful everyone was!

I had an exceptional 3xperience. The service was too shelf! I needed 5 things. I have never been in the store before and did not know where anything was. Bill, an employee, guided me throughout the store and showed me where every item was on my list. It is a very large store and they had everything I needed!

Was very busy on the day I was there. Staff was still able to help me find the items I was looking for quickly and professionally. Loading assistance was called for over the PA, waited for a few minutes and handled it myself. Not a big deal for me with the particular item I purchased but others may have had to wait a bit. Reiterating that it was very busy.

We needed to rent a big plumbing snake to help a friend with a bad plumbing problem. The guys at ACE in Woodruff recommended the perfect tool and were so helpful. The price of the rental was only $20. Customer Service at it's finest!

Not at all impressed in the 12 years of shopping at this Ace. Staff are friendly & try to be helpful but store has minimal supplies needed for the simplest projects. This store location fully takes advantage of the tourists & weekend travelers with higher price markups compared to other hardware stores. I'm nearly always disappointed after going into store. Bought common items such as propane, paint & drill bits but its very basic on plumbing, electrical & building supplies. Most times I have to drive to Rhinelander Menards or Home Depot to get exactly what I need.

Very clean and large. Everyone was courteous, professional and knowledgeable on everything I needed to buy. They knew what I was looking for and exactly where it was. Best ACE hardware I've ever visited. I will absolutely be back. All I ask is the get a wider selection of crossbows. 5 choices and all one brand. It would be nice to have something else to choose from. Even walmart has 3 pieces of junk to choose from. It would be nice to see a couple extra brands here and there on some things. But otherwise I'm very happy with this location.

My favorite hardware store in the area, and expert paint matching. I had a wall I repaired and really wanted to match what was there, brougt a small sample with and the match was so good I could not tell where I repainted!

Knowledgeable staff! If you have a home improvement question don't go to the big box store and try to figure it out, just come here and ask. You'll get the right part/tool along with great advice. Even many of the prices have become competitive if not better than the big stores. Don't waste the longer drive, shop local.
