Great Location for what we needed. Hotel seemed to have good amenities. Friendly staff. Ability to check in early. Pool area was great. Expect upcoming roof repair if you will be visiting; but remodels/repairs are to be expected everywhere.Rooms: Clean. Bed was firm.Walkability: Gas station with restaurant across street.

This was a stopover on the way to an event. It was recommended by a friend. Convenient to the interstate. Check-in, late in the evening, was very smooth. The property was quiet. The surroundings were sorta picturesque in a wild prairie type of way. Beds were comfortable. The four of us got a good nightās sleep. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again. Great value for the price

RESUBMITTING SINCE MY FIRST REVIEW WAS TAKEN DOWN. AND I DONT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE(Copy/Paste of my first review since I figured they would try to take this down)DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE DOG!!!! Hands down the WORST experience of my life with a hotel. I have a fully trained and certified service dog and not 1, or 2, but THREE different employees all verbally attacked me and my family about my dog being with me in the pool area (when no one else was around) and in the breakfast area the next morning.None of them would let me explain anything, or even help to educate them in the differences between Service Dogs, Emotional Support Pets, Therapy Dogs, or Pets. During breakfast I had to call the police to have an officer come and deescalate the situation. I was so embarrassed and just plain hurt at what happened. The front desk guy lives there with his family and the kids were running around at night as well. The kitchen lady was so mad the officer told her that I'm allowed to be in the breakfast area, she even closed early just to make it inconvenient for us.To make matters worse, the "manager/owner" of the place called me to sorta apologize but more so to tell me I shouldn't have called the cops or corporate and instead approached the guy yelling at me to ask for a managers card and call him direct instead. He has an Iowa phone number and like the front desk guy is hard to understand, but didnt even want to give us our money back until I told him I would be calling corp again. (even threatening to sue him didnt matter)DO NOT STAY HERETrip typeVacationTravel groupFamilyRooms: 3Service: 1Location: 4SafetyThis place IS NOT SAFE FOR OTHERS WITH SERVICE DOGS until the staff is FULLY educated and ACCEPTS that people can have service dogs with them ANYWHERE. And from just body cam footage and police report, I can tell you that it will take ALOT for the front desk guy that lives there and the kitchen lady to accept it. They wouldn't even believe the officer!

By far, worst experience ever. Stayed with our 10u traveling baseball team. Continuously reprimanded by the desk clerk for the boys making too much noise in the pool (during open pool hours). Pool room is a terrible design with tall hardwood ceiling that funnels all of the acoustics from the pool into the hotel. Hotel has a bar, but it's not open and the guy running the place had a huge issue with parents drinking in the pool at the provided tables while watching their kids. Hotel is not kid friendly and definitely not the place to stay with a youth sports team. Our team traveled to 4 other communities, stayed multiple nights in other hotels. Those experiences (in other hotels) were fun for the kids and parents and we experienced none of the issues we had at this place. Skip this place

M y stay here so far has been great, it's a business trip where I leave at 7am and return around 10pm. There is always fresh fruit at the front desk and the Cafe even still had yogurt and juices available when I come in needing a little snack. The gym is small but effective the pool is heated with a hot tub.Breakfast offers all you could want including waffles scramble eggs and hot sausage. š„.Location is far from what I'm used to but I'll live.

While on a business trip, we were looking for a place to stay for a few hours. After reading the reviews we decided to stay here. When we walked in the lobby not only did it look extremely clean, it smelt clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very kind. When we arrived to our room, the cleanliness was impressive! Clean, quiet and affordable. I would stay again if passing through.

Yesterday afternoon 5/28/23, my wife called the best Western here in Witten. Christie quoted the price of $90 even though we told her that we have a small dog. A toy poodle. After we checked out, I went back out to my semi truck parked next-door, we were doing a little housekeeping before we would be on our way. My wife got a notification from our bank for $123.25 from this establishment. I donāt have a problem paying that if thatās what it was. Thatās not what it was. Here in America we would call that fraud. Which is exactly what has happened here. I donāt think that they were expecting me to actually come back in and argue the price. But thatās just exactly what just happened. There was a guy named Paul Patel. Iām sure his name was Paul. Anyway he started spewing, well thereās taxes, pet fee, this and that. I said that is not what Christie told us last night on the phone. He said Christie doesnāt make the prices, she doesnāt make concessions. I said so thatās the way itās going to be? Now his American female associate, she was ready to definitely lower my bill for my stay. Although she could not have been sweeter, or more kind, this was a matter between this alleged fraudulent innkeeper and myself. It ended up with me walking out telling him that you can pull that noise in India, but this is the United States of America. You set a price it is the price! You donāt play bait and switch with your prices! If you donāt mind that the price quoted is going to be a lot less than what you actually will be charged, I recommend coming here! The rooms are clean plenty of parking for cars and semiās alike. I didnāt mind how much they actually charged at all. I think that ninety was rather low, as a matter of fact! When I physically checked in Patel might have wanted to mention that! A fraudster never tells you their true intent or it wouldnāt be called fraud, now would it?

I love this hotel cause the employees are very nice and it's very clean. They have a pool and a hot tub but some rooms have whirlpools/hot tub in them. They have breakfast every day different meat depending on the day and always eggs cereal yogurt waffle maker. They also have oatmeal milk orange and apple juice. There is a gas station truck stop within waking distance. They have a nice patio u can sit on outside. It is a very peaceful area around the hotel nice to walk around. They accept dogs and the area around is good for walking them.

It's a nice hotel. In the past the pool has been great but this time it was very cold. Hot tub was nice. The walls are thin so you can hear everything if your "neighbors" are talking. But not a lot of options in Wittenberg and if they would warm up the pool, it would be great!

Very clean, very friendly. We didn't really take advantage of the breakfast or any other amenities, so all we really have to go on is check in and the room. Check out was effortless. It's a nice hotel reasonably close to three casinos at an average price for the area.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Room was clean, very large, nicely decorated and quiet. The best part of our stay was Paul at the front desk! Excellent host, very accommodating, he made us feel like we were the only guests and took great care of us. Great customer service! Highly recommend this hotel and will always stay here when visiting in the future.

The room was clean and the bed was hard but comfortable. we slept good, and it was quiet all night. the breakfast in the morning was ok at best. the eggs were under cooked and almost liquid. the sausages were disgusting, one bite and we spit it out. the wife's were good and tasted like a good breakfast sausage. they brought out a new batch after she took hers. The staff was very nice and helpful. we will stay at this hotel coming back from Green Bay again, maybe next time skip breakfast though.
