Haven't been there in years. Went to get a kitchen faucet. I found the faucets. However, the shelves needed to be faced. Hard to tell the price when 4 different faucets are in the same space. There is a display, you can match with the picture on the box, to get the price, though.

I went to Ace hoping to find a replacement cartridge for a tub faucet. The cartridge I had was old and from an unspecified assembly. Derek in customer service at the back of the store not only tried to locate a replacement but actually rebuilt the cartridge I had. What a guy! That's why there's more to shopping than price. Service like that is hard to find. Kudos to Derek and his employer for being wise enough to hire him!

I went in for the first time to purchase bolts and washers for my motorcycle, and the guy that was in the back helped me get everything I needed which I wasn't expecting at all. He even made sure that I was getting the right ones too. Great customer service for sure.

Everyone in the car mentioned how the plants outside ace hardware, were blanched from the sun and dying from not being watered. It’s not that hard to water a plant- someone needs to go and do this now. hundreds of dollars of product is being wasted- and a plant! All were on the side of the greenhouse and against the building. This happened with the plants inside the greenhouse one day, too.I will change my review up, once the plants are watered. Water them more often. They were definitely not watered today. That kind of neglect is not within one day. Save the store 100’s in inventory.

First for everything! I have never been turned down for trying to spend $1400 dollars at a retail store. Drove to Rapids Ace to buy a Weber grill today. After locating the one I was after, supposed manager (Michael) told me they had 6 of them in boxes in back room. Then followed that with Sorry! he couldn't sell me one today because no one could drive the forklift to get them off the shelf. What!!!!! I verified that he could not drive the forklift himself as the manager. He told me no, I could come back tomorrow. Wow and no thank you!

Went to get a key made and was unable to. The clerk at the front was extremely rude as we were leaving, since we didn't buy anything, not my fault you couldn't make keys. Was told by Adams ace to go here for a key. Will never return. Very rude associates.

I want to say a big thank you to Doug at Wisconsin rapids. He was a huge help. I have a very sentimental pocket knife that I lost a screw for and he was so helpful in helping us get one that fit and ground it down till it didn't hang off my knife. I'm able to use a knife I love again and that means a lot to me. Thank you Doug!

I love Ace! Every employee knows every aisle when you need help finding an item. It more like an at home atmosphere. Every time I go there everyone's smiling and genuinely greets you!

I tapped the bell for service and the employee walked up with an attitude and said "I'm going to throw that bell away, What do you need?". Nice store but some of your employees are friendly. Some them are rude and need to be fired. Also your prices aren't the best. I'll check with Home Depot first from now on.

I went there to get a spare truck key, I went to the key counter, no one there. A few employees saw me, didn't ask if I was being helped.After about 5 minutes an employee came, he couldn't figure out how to work the machine, asked me what kind of vehicle it was,I told him a GMC truck,he called another guy, who knew what he was doing.

I got what I needed but very few employees are nice. I even witnessed 2 employees stand there and talk while the 1 and only Cashier struggles to serve 6 customers in line. They looked at the line and ignored the cashier when she asked for assistance. Not happy with couple of the work ethic of their employees.

Not just a hardware store, this place has many items for any and everybody! They have cute crafty items, clothing, decor, and everything else a hardware store should have. Nice selection of products. Store was clean and the staff was friendly. May be slightly pricey compared to your Lowes or Menards, but that is the price you pay to shop Local!

This particular Ace Hardware store is comparatively larger than most other Ace's I have shopped at in the past. The internal layout is very simple and easy to navigate. Every aisle is clearly numbered and has a short 3-4 word description alongside to help you find whatever item your looking for. The aisles were very clean and kept clear of any obstructions. For an Ace store it carried a very wide selection of items which was nice. However it took me over 15 minutes to find the item i was looking for, the lack of any real customer service didn't seem to help matters much. Every associate I found always seemed to be too busy to acknowledge me. The 2 associates I was able to get to stop and answer my question didn't seem to have any more knowledge of where to find things than i did. I eventually had to rudely interrupt another customer to ask the only manager on duty where the garage door opener remotes were. Once I had what I came there for I checked out and was on my way out the door. Overall I'd say this store wouldmt be my first place to shop at again, but if it was the only place available it wouldn't bother me too much to have to go here. If they trained employees a little better and made items easier to locate this could be a great store!! Until then 3 stars is all its really worth giving.

Very well stocked hardware store with large sporting goods section that focuses on fishing (at least in summer). Had everything I was looking for. I’ve seen other ACE locations with far less. Employee was knowledgeable and gave some fishing advice.
